At that moment, instead of helping her friends, Yue suddenly turned around and vanished in the opposite direction, toward the place she had been watching earlier.
The place that had given off the aura that had guided her here from another direction.
It was hidden behind towering ice walls.
There, atop a vast snow-white platform, something silently rested. A seemingly weak-looking ice sword, one that all the Rulers would recognize at a glance, was embedded in the center of the platform.
Atop the sword, a round snowflake shimmered in the air, its delicate form tinged with countless different hues.
It looked ethereal, as though it didn’t truly belong to this world. In contrast, the sword itself appeared completely unremarkable—so ordinary and fragile that it seemed as though it could shatter with a single touch.
But Yue knew her instincts were right.
That sword and that snowflake were both connected to Kyle—the one everyone had told her had died after entering this realm.
However, before she could reach them, someone seized her hair from behind and yanked her backward with brutal force.
Mirabel’s indifferent voice rang out as she lifted Yue’s body from the white platform.
"Let’s see how you run this time. Why not use that teleportation skill of yours? Unlike everyone else, you seem to be able to travel freely through this place. Go ahead and try. Let’s see if you can still escape using the same trick with all the Rulers watching."
Yue’s teeth clenched. She struggled as the power of all the natural laws within her body erupted, yet Mirabel easily destroyed the power, causing her to cough up blood that stained the veil covering her face red.
Mirabel sneered.
"Your strongest law is actually the law of enchantment. Heh, it won’t work on me."
She had just finished speaking and was about to drag Yue away, intending to take her toward her struggling companions so that the group of friends could watch each other die, helpless to do anything. But as she lifted her head, her gaze suddenly fell upon the direction Yue had been heading.
Mirabel’s eyes dilated immediately.
For a second, she was so shocked that her grip on Yue nearly loosened. Her expression changed completely, turning pale yet also a bit thrilled and excited. Then, her trembling voice rang out across the frozen grounds.
Her words struck like thunder, freezing every Ruler who heard them in place.
"Kyle’s Celestial Symbol!!"
Yizhe was startled the moment he heard Kyle’s name. For an instant, fear seized him, and his first instinct was to turn around and flee the area. But as he processed Mirabel’s words, his terror was immediately replaced by something far stronger—excitement.
He immediately rushed toward her.
His eyes widened the moment he saw the familiar sword. He had seen it before, back when Kyle’s soul had scattered into many glowing fragments right before their eyes.
It was the same seemingly fragile sword that none of them had been able to lift, no matter how much power they had used.
And now, atop that sword, floated a single snowflake—the same one Kyle wielded and used when he killed a man so powerful that he could destroy the entire Celestial Realm.
It was so ethereal and beautiful that even Yizhe found himself breathless. Countless colors shimmered within its delicate form, radiating an aura that felt both ancient and incomparably powerful.
His voice came out hoarse as he roughly pushed Mirabel aside and ran toward the snowflake floating atop the ice sword.
"It really is his Celestial Symbol!"
"A complete Celestial Symbol!"
"OMG! It’s still here!!!"
He laughed crazily.
Greed flashing in his eyes.
His speed was almost a blur.
"This was the powerful treasure whose presence we all sensed after entering!"
But just as he was about to touch the ethereal ice snowflake, only an inch away from obtaining the power to become the strongest Celestial in existence, Mirabel suddenly grabbed his collar from behind.
Yizhe’s joyful expression changed.
He snapped around, intending to kick her aside, but before he could do that, Mirabel actually sent his body flying backward.
Shocked, Yizhe stopped himself mid-air.
His bloodshot eyes immediately locked onto the woman before him—the same woman who was his closest companion.
"MIRABEL!!"
His thunderous roar echoed across the frozen grounds, filled with immense fury and disbelief. In response, Mirabel merely chuckled, completely unfazed by his fury.
"Yizhe, don’t be greedy. I was the one who saw this Celestial Symbol first. You can’t just take it all for yourself."
Hearing her words, Yizhe was so furious that he almost lost control of himself.
At this moment, the remaining Rulers also abandoned the group of people they were ordered to kill and rushed toward the white platform, their attention completely seized by the flying Celestial Symbol before them.
One after another, they all landed on the white platform, their gazes fixed greedily upon the ethereal snowflake. The people they had been beating were temporarily forgotten as the Rulers realized what kind of treasure was floating before them.
One of them could no longer contain himself. His shocked eyes burned with greed as he looked at the snowflake.
Turning to Mirabel, he asked hoarsely, his voice trembling slightly with anticipation.
"What about us?"
Mirabel immediately snapped.
"Don’t even think about it!"
"Get lost!"
That was the final straw, shattering the fragile peace that had been holding the Rulers back. The next moment, several Rulers attacked Mirabel simultaneously.
Mirabel’s gaze darkened instantly.
She gritted her teeth in anger and simply decided to seize the Celestial Symbol and flee this place first before the others could reach her. The rest could be handled later.
However, the instant her hand reached toward the snowflake, an invisible barrier suddenly emerged around it. Her attack struck the barrier with a deafening boom, yet it remained completely unmoved.
She couldn’t break it!
Yizhe didn’t hesitate either. He joined the fray, his earlier anger immediately turning into ruthless determination as he battled for a chance to get the Celestial Symbol.
In an instant, the space above the white platform descended into complete chaos.
Terrifying waves of Natural Laws collided as the Rulers fought without restraint, each of them willing to injure—or even kill—the others to claim the ice Celestial Symbol.
Seeing the chaos unfold, Yue, who had been tossed aside earlier, quietly crawled toward where her companions had fallen.
Her heart tightened as she looked over them. Their faces were pale, and their bodies were battered and bloodied, but when she sensed that they were all still breathing, she let out a sigh of relief.
Only then did her gaze shift toward the snow-white platform and the seemingly ordinary ice sword embedded at its center.
The ethereal snowflake floating above it shimmered faintly, drawing her attention.
Yue clenched her teeth and whispered under her breath.
"We have to reach it first..."
