Atop the snow-white platform, Yizhe was locked in a fierce battle—more specifically, he was beating some Rulers—when another suddenly appeared and kicked him away.

The back of his body slammed heavily into the platform, creating cracks and sending fragments of ice scattering through the air.

As he struggled to steady himself, the corner of his eye caught sight of a pair of legs standing on the opposite side of the platform.

Yizhe paused. Instinctively, he looked up, intending to see who the owner of the legs was.

It was nothing more than a casual glance.

Yet the instant his eyes landed on the figure’s face and he met a pair of green eyes that were so painfully familiar, his entire body froze.

His heart seemed to stop beating.

His pupils contracted violently as fear spread across his face. For a fleeting moment, Yizhe felt as though Kyle himself were standing before him, staring down at him with that familiar, terrifying calmness—as if he were about to kill him at any moment.

His body trembled uncontrollably, and a name escaped his lips in a strained whisper.

"K...yle..."

Amid the chaos unfolding across the platform, Amon heard the familiar name.

He lowered his head and looked toward Yizhe.

That single glance was enough to make Yizhe’s blood run cold. His face turned pale, and his body nearly gave out from fear.

Seeing the terrified expression on Yizhe’s face, Amon blinked. He already knew that his father was infamous throughout the entire Celestial Realm, feared by many as the powerful Ice Devil. But Amon hadn’t realized that those in the Celestial Realm were afraid of Kyle to this extent.

Yizhe was trembling simply because Amon’s features resembled his father’s.

Amon couldn’t help but be stunned.

Was Kyle, his father, really this terrifying?

Suddenly, Mirabel’s cold gaze shifted toward the other side of the platform.

She had heard Yizhe’s broken voice.

The moment she saw Amon, Caria, and Leon, a faint sneer appeared on her face.

"Kyle’s long dead. He just looks similar."

As her words fell, Mirabel twisted and tore apart the arm of the Ruler she was fighting before turning her attention toward Amon.

Something about that child unsettled her.

A strange sense of dread immediately stirred within her heart—a feeling Mirabel hadn’t experienced in a very long time.

But just as she turned toward Amon, who looked startled upon seeing her—the Ruler they had seen giving a speech before they entered the towering gate—a thunderous shout suddenly rang out from behind her.

"Attack!"

The voice belonged to Alec.

After Alec’s shout, a furious cry of a Phoenix echoed through the frozen grounds.

All the Rulers battling above the platform were momentarily stunned upon hearing the cry.

In the next instant, two enormous yet magnificent creatures shot toward them, their eyes filled with killing intent.

Bia and Nox had charged forward, attacking the Rulers in their original forms.

Behind them, Alec, Sinon, Nine, and the others followed without hesitation, unleashing their powers as they rushed into battle.

For a brief moment, the Rulers simply stared. But after the initial surprise, as they effortlessly stopped the attacks directed at them, several of them burst into laughter.

Mockery filled their eyes.

How foolish.

If the Rulers hadn’t been distracted by the cold Celestial Symbol and fighting among themselves to claim it, this group of weak Celestials would have been long dead!

This group had been given the perfect opportunity to flee and save their lives!

Yet instead of fleeing, they had chosen to charge straight toward the Rulers, as if they desperately wanted to die at their hands!

Mirabel chuckled at the scene, her expression filled with cold amusement.

Suddenly, her feet lifted from the platform, and in the next instant, her figure flashed.

She stopped directly above Nox’s massive body, her hand already reaching down and swiftly wrapping around one of his horns.

"I guess we should kill these bugs first."

The instant her words fell, a sharp, sickening crack echoed through the air.

Nox’s massive body jolted as Mirabel ruthlessly tore the horn from his head. A roar of agony erupted from his throat, and his enormous body staggered backward from the sudden pain.

Bia heard his roar, and fury immediately clouded her eyes, her anger nearly boiling over. In the very next instant, the massive, majestic Phoenix charged toward Mirabel.

But Yizhe, who had composed himself, reacted swiftly. With a wave of his hand, a powerful force erupted from his palm and effortlessly sent the phoenix’s body flying.

She flew across the snow-white platform before loudly crashing into an ice wall.

Amon, Caria, and Leon’s eyes widened at the scene. They had just arrived, so they had no idea what was happening or why their loved ones had suddenly appeared, only to start fighting those on the platform.

But seeing Nox injured and Bia sent flying, they could no longer stand by and watch.

They shouted in alarm and instinctively rushed forward, wanting to join the battle.

"Uncle Nox! Bia!"

However, before they could take more than a step, several sharp, dark spears suddenly materialized from the surrounding space, shooting toward them with terrifying speed.

The three almost saw their lives flash before their eyes.

Not just them—everyone who cared about them felt their hearts stop at the sight.

However, the pain Amon, Caria, and Leon expected never came.

As the three youths raised their shaken eyes, they saw that Alec and Asher had somehow managed to react in time, placing themselves between them and the attacks that moved beyond perception.

The spears struck their bodies, blood instantly flowing from their wounds and staining their battered, blood-stained clothes an even deeper red. Yet the two forcibly endured the impact, blocking every attack aimed at the children behind them.

"Run!"

Alec shouted without turning around.

Asher’s face was equally pale, but his gaze remained fixed on the Rulers before them.

"Don’t even think about getting closer to them. You have to get through our bodies first!"
