"Hey, old geezer, what are you yelling about? I’m in charge of this section of road, and I say this truck isn’t going anywhere!"

The argument was fierce.

He put down his phone and turned to Weiwei’s classmates, clasping his hands in a brief, formal gesture. "Something has come up with my family that I need to handle immediately. Please, continue without me. I have to go."

Outside, the RUMBLE of a helicopter’s engines was already audible.

It was landing on the dedicated helipad just outside the sky restaurant.

The floor-to-ceiling windows slid open, and a group of Dongshen Financial Group executives appeared, reporting something to Qin Tianxuan.

The roar of the rotor blades drowned out everything, and the entire restaurant was buffeted by a fierce gust of wind.
