Chapter 64: Playing with Them

Chapter 64: Chapter 64: Playing with Them

Prince, standing beside Qin Tianxuan, glanced at the Chen Family brothers inside and frowned. "Sir, they’re up to no good. Be careful!"

Han Qian Jun gasped. "These cousins from the Chen Family are not to be trifled with."

Jiang Wan Jun hesitated. "It shouldn’t be that bad, right? I already told Weiwei’s second aunt not to pull these kinds of stunts."

Across from them, a few of the Chen Family cousins came over and blocked the doorway.

"Auntie’s here? Oh, why don’t I see cousin Weiwei?"

Jiang Wan Jun quickly explained, "The kids have school, so she has to watch them. But didn’t I bring your cousin-in-law?"

Qin Tianxuan, standing to the side, gave a slight nod.

The Chen Family cousins’ eyes were filled with disdain.

’Han Biwei is a famous beauty. How did she end up with a man dressed so shabbily?’

’He might be handsome, but can good looks put food on the table?’

The cousins stood with their hands on their hips, eyelids drooping. "Sorry, we haven’t finished preparing everything. Since you’re here, just in time, go help us move a few cases of liquor!"

’Guests who have traveled from afar, and elders at that, are being told to help move things the moment they arrive?’

Han Qian Jun flew into a rage. "What are you trying to pull? Did we come here to move liquor?"

Jiang Wan Jun’s expression was the most humiliated; she was at a complete loss for what to do.

One of the Chen brothers scoffed, "It’s not that we’re trying to be difficult, but everyone sitting inside right now is a distinguished guest. Our two uncles are both big shots with status. You expect them to do manual labor?"

"And our three aunts are all district officials. You can’t possibly expect a few district leaders to go out and move things, can you?"

The Chen brothers spoke with self-righteous justification. ’After all, all the friends and relatives seated inside are people of status and wealth. You, Han Qian Jun, are poor and shabby. You’re destined to do manual labor when you show up!’

Han Qian Jun’s hands trembled, and he turned to leave.

Jiang Wan Jun gritted her teeth, her head lowered in silence.

At this moment, Qin Tianxuan’s expression remained calm. He simply turned his head and said quietly to Prince, "They’re deliberately picking a fight for fun. Go ahead and play along with them."

Prince, who had been standing by, seething with irrepressible anger, gave a savage grin upon hearing this and stepped forward. "Where’s the liquor? I’ll go get it!"

Oh-ho!

The Chen Family brothers stared at Prince. "And who might this be?"

Qin Tianxuan said faintly, "He’s a brother who follows me." After saying this, he helped the angry Jiang Wan Jun to the side and then pulled Han Qian Jun over as well.

By the main gate, next to the stone lions, there were only two small stools.

After having Uncle Han and Aunt Jiang sit down, Qin Tianxuan stood beside them with his hands behind his back, his demeanor composed and his expression unchanging.

Inside, a group of guests was watching the spectacle. At this moment, however, a few of them let out a small sound of surprise.

"This cousin-in-law of the Chen Family has an extraordinary bearing!"

"Indeed. An ordinary person in this situation would either lose their temper and make a fool of themselves or just turn and leave. But he’s so calm and composed. He’s not ordinary!"

The few who spoke were all people of vast experience and extraordinary status.

They had a good eye for judging character.

But most of the onlookers were just idle gawkers, all excitedly waiting to see Qin Tianxuan and his group in a sorry state.

Prince surveyed his surroundings, sneering inwardly, and asked again, "So, where’s the liquor?"

’Damn, he just looks like a little lackey. What’s he acting so tough for!’

The eldest Chen brother’s eyelids drooped. "Two cases of good liquor. They’re in our family warehouse. There," he gestured, "it’s just across the way, only a few hundred meters. It won’t kill you!"

Prince snorted, looking at the warehouse across the street, built outside the Chen Family’s main residence. It occupied a considerable area, and the nearby roads had even been rerouted to create a dedicated driveway for it.

’This Chen Family, you can tell at a glance they’re a local tyrant in Wuzhou District.’

Over there, a key appeared in the eldest Chen brother’s hand. "Oh dear, I’ve had a little to drink and can’t walk straight. You open the warehouse door yourself!"

Prince shot him a glance and slowly walked over.

Just as he was about to take the key, the guy’s hand "shook," and with a CLATTER, the key fell to the ground. Perfectly aimed, it went straight through a crack and into the sewer drain below.

The eldest Chen brother immediately feigned anger. "You can’t even catch a key? What are we supposed to do now? That was our only key!"

The others also chimed in to stir up trouble. "Now we’re in for it. The Chen Family’s warehouse has a security door; an ordinary locksmith can’t open it!"

They glared at Prince, acting as if they were there to hold him accountable. "We’re waiting to serve the liquor. What do you propose we do?"

"I’ll just buy you new ones," Prince said without blinking an eye.

"There’s no time! Besides, we only drink the Flying Fairy Maotai we have in stock. You can’t even buy that if you wanted to!"

Prince’s eyelid twitched. His anger flared up in an instant.

From behind them, Qin Tianxuan said faintly, "It’s not a wall of bronze and iron. It’s just a door."

The Chen brothers shot him a look. "Easy for you to say. That’s a reinforced concrete wall!"

The eldest brother put his hands on his hips. "You better think of something, quick. If you don’t get our liquor out today, we don’t care if you’re relatives or not. We won’t be so polite anymore, got it?"

"Don’t be hasty. Go on inside and wait," Prince said with a cold laugh as he turned around.

The Chen brothers laughed smugly. "Damn, if you’ve got a trick up your sleeve, feel free to use it! Let’s go, we’ll go drink inside and see what he does!"

’They felt they hadn’t had enough fun, but against a small fry like Qin Tianxuan, this one trick was more than enough. The key they’d just thrown was a fake, anyway. What could Qin Tianxuan possibly do? He couldn’t possibly tear down the warehouse, could he?’
