Chapter 77: Chapter 77: I Am Saving You

Li Tianhui crossed his arms and sat commandingly in his high-backed executive chair. The wide desk created a significant distance, lending him an air of authority.

He watched Qin Tianxuan walk in, his eyes narrowing. He neither offered him a seat nor spoke a word.

The silence was thick with a menacing aura, creating a tense atmosphere.

Li Tianhui intended to use this tense atmosphere to immediately assert his dominance over Qin Tianxuan.

But with a scrape of a chair, Qin Tianxuan simply pulled one out and sat down.

Li Tianhui flew into a rage. "Did I say you could sit?"

Li Tianhui was so angry his teeth chattered. "I’m a man who likes to be direct. What is your relationship with Yuan Jingjing?"

"Friends."

"I don’t fucking believe you!"

Qin Tianxuan glanced up at him. "It doesn’t matter whether you believe me or not. But you are not worthy of Jingjing, so don’t get any ideas."

With that, he stood up and straightened his shirt. "If there’s nothing else, President Li, I have things to do. I’ll be on my way."

"Stop!" Li Tianhui roared.

But there was no way Qin Tianxuan was going to stop. He just opened the door and left.

"I... I..."

Li Tianhui’s mind went blank with rage. It took him a long moment to recover. "Human Resources! Fire Qin Tianxuan immediately! And Yuan Jingjing—fire her too! Tell them all to get the hell out!"

But a wave of resentment still roiled within Li Tianhui, so he immediately changed his order. "Keep Yuan Jingjing for now. Inform her that she is to come to my private office after work to report on her progress."

Outside, someone from HR walked into the sales conference room with security guards and pointed at Qin Tianxuan. "You. Pack your things and get the hell out, now! You can come get your pay next month."

Qin Tianxuan stood up with a smile and nodded to Yuan Jingjing. "See you tomorrow."

’What does he mean by that?’

"Tianhui? That’s my nephew! My own nephew!"

Qin Tianxuan let out a simple "Oh." "You certainly have a lot of nephews. Li Xiaohai was disgusting enough, and now there’s a Li Tianhui?"

Li Changshan was terrified. "I will head to the company at once! If Li Tianhui has done something wrong, please feel free to punish him as you see fit!"

"No need. Just make sure I get to keep this job."

Here, Qin Tianxuan paused for a moment. "I will give Li Tianhui one chance. I hope he treasures it. Do not reveal my identity! That’s an order!"

Li Changshan was probably too terrified to speak.
