Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 10. Chapter 171: Now She Gets An Evolution!!! (Chapter 1072)

Chapter 171: Now She Gets An Evolution!!!

Unfortunately, that problem cannot be solved in a quick manner. Due to this, Celia decided to help her daughter Evolve first. After all, my wife absolutely wasn’t the type to leave anything even slightly unfinished.

Especially not something that related to her friends or family. Though, I kinda wish that she did slack off from time to time. Despite it being a peaceful time in our lives, Celia still does a lot of work. Hm… perhaps I should plot with Guanyu, behind our wife’s back? She’d be able to get Celia to slow down, without a doubt!

Xinolily: “…” “Mom is waiting for me to go to sleep, but I can’t. What if… I Evolve into some kind of Monster? Now that I’ve spent so long in this form… I can’t go back to what I was before!” She exclaimed in her mind, conflicted and worried as can be.

Celia: “Lily, is something wrong? It will take a while for me to help you fully Evolve; but you’ll be asleep, so you won’t really feel how long it takes.” She coaxed with a smile, seeing that her daughter wasn’t yet willing to let her use Sleeping Magic on her.

Xinolily: “Mom… I’m worried that I’ll change into a Monster of some kind. But… I want to stay Humanoid.” She answered with an unsure sigh.

Celia: “Hm… I don’t think that’ll happen, dear.” She replied with a giggle.

Xinolily: “Um… how can you be so sure, Mom?” She asked in reply with a head tilt.

Celia: “The System is biased to Humanoid Evolutions. Ancient Animals, like you used to be, are ancient for a reason.” She confidently answered, doing a few more laughs at her silly daughter.

Xinolily: “( ’-’ ~)”

Nine Hours Later!

Once Runeth confirmed that her sister was not going to Evolve into a Monster, Xinolily allowed her mother to put her to sleep. It took a long, looooong time for Lily to finish Evolving, though.

No, really! This was the first Final Evolution that Celia (besides her own, which was greatly helped by her Pure Mana self) got someone through. Knowing that, we expected it to not be as quick as usual; but not this lengthy of an Evolution. Seriously… If Xinolily didn’t have Celia, it would have very likely taken her millions of years to finish Evolving…

Bite!

Celia: “Ah, as I figured would happen. Eat well, Xinolily.” She expressed with a motherly tone, rubbing Lily’s head, as the girl drank her fill of Celia’s blood.

After The Feeding Was Over.

Xinolily: “…I don’t really feel any different, Mom. Status.” She said with a confused tone, deciding to check her Status before Celia could reply.
