Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 434 - 432:[Abyssal Sovereign Light of Primality].

Chapter 434: Chapter 432:[Abyssal Sovereign Light of Primality].

A sudden silence fell within the space as the girls just looked at me funny.

"What do you mean ’become one of Chaos’s own?’" Melissa asked.

"It’s a bit hard to explain, but it’s basically just me giving you guys a power-up. We don’t know what we’ll be encountering out there, and I’d like to say I could protect all of you, but I’m not taking any chances." My voice was hard, and they seemed to have noticed.

"Dante... is something the matter?" Aunt V asked.

"It’s nothing you girls have to worry about, for now." I wasn’t about to tell them about the potential conceptual beings about to be on my ass when even I don’t know when exactly they’ll be showing up.

But what I can do is make sure the girls and the others are as ready as possible.

"Alright Dante. But how are you even going to do such a thing? You don’t just give people power, right?" Mira asked.

"Oh, my dear, you don’t have to worry about that, all you need to do is just let me work." I grinned as I focused on my status panel, specifically on one particular origin...

<Devour>, my mind replaying the conversation between me and Shaia.

....

Three days ago, at Terra’s core.

"That’s... not possible," Shaia whispered in disbelief as her eyes focused on the description before us.

"Well, my love. As you can see, it is very much so." I grinned sharply, eyes twinkling.

{Origins}:-

<Devour>:-

All that is. All that was. All that there ever will be. None is beyond your reach. None is beyond your taking. None is beyond acquisition. So Devour. Devour and Acquire.

...

Simple and direct. No extra fluff. The definition had changed from its earlier "creation is yours for the taking" to basically saying "Everything is yours for the taking," which was an already monumental statement, but that wasn’t why Shaia was stumped. That wasn’t why I was grinning like a cat. No, the reason for that was:

<Endow>:-

All that was. All that is. All there ever will be. Once it is yours, you can give. Nothing is beyond what you can bestow.

....

Simple. Direct. In fact, one could say it was the exact opposite of Devour, and that was why Shaia was disbelieving, because,

"That’s the origin of Aunt Devouring’s outer-source counterpart..." Her words made my grin widen even further.

She had already told me what happened once Mother came into being. But she said none knew the outcome of that, but now, I was seeing it clearly.

A second origin hiding as an ability within my Origin of Devour.

"I guess now I have the complete set." I couldn’t help but get excited at the implications of what this meant.

No. It isn’t the same thing as the ripoff that phony Devourer had used. This isn’t merely picking a skill or ability to give to someone.

No. This was endowing another being in its entirety.

Still don’t understand? What this meant was, if I wanted to give somebody my Origin of Devour, I could.

If I wanted to give someone my Origin of Denial, I could.

If I devoured another separate origin from another outer-source being or chaos being, and decided to bestow that origin on one of my people, thereby birthing a new outer-source or chaos being? I could.

There were no limits. No bars. The only thing I could see being an issue would be my existence level, and even that was something I could fix. After all, if I was expected to devour and acquire everything, couldn’t I just devour specifically the existence level of my target?

I could see clearly why whoever strange force birthed these beings created opposing forces, because the combination of the two, <Devour> and <Endow>, was truly something that was about to become more obscene than either one already was.

Still, "I don’t get why you’re so shocked. You were there when Mother gave me the Origin of Emptiness, how did you think she did that if she wasn’t utilizing this?" I asked.

"I thought she was just channeling the essence of the origin, not giving you the entire origin itself. Essence channeling most can do, after all, creating apostles, powerful ones, involves such a step. But to give you the origin in its entirety... no wonder you were able to awaken a completely different one. The origin fused and changed..." Her voice was still quiet from shock.

"Haaa... this really shouldn’t even be possible."

"My love, my own existence is based on the impossible, so this much should already be expected." I nodded, satisfied as I finally moved on to the next agenda...

...

Back to the present.

"So, what are you going to do, and how long will it take?" Clarissa asked, curious.

"Well, I’m not sure how long it’s going to take. Hell, I don’t even know what’s going to happen to you guys, I just know that you’ll be more powerful than ever, so just trust me."

It was dumb. It was stupid. It was reckless. But still,

"Alright." Melissa.

"Sure." Cara.

"I mean, what’s there to lose? If I die, you’ll just say NO and bring me back." Khalifa.

"Fufufufufu... a power-up sounds nice. I wonder if it comes with some special perks." Kaila.

"Hehehe... Dante cares about me... hehehe... he wants me to be strong... get strong... birth strong babies... hehehehehe..." Liz.

"So, I get to be something more scary and dangerous? Sign me up." Dakota.

"Haa... just do what you have to do." Aunt V.

None of them, not the women, not even my annoying friends, bothered to say anything, their unwavering trust showing true in their instantaneous agreement.

A happy smile broke out on my face as I couldn’t help but feel warm inside.

"Alright then, everyone, let’s start," I called out, standing up and placing Aunt V on her feet.

"Aunt V, you’ll go first." She nodded. "Do you trust me?" I hadn’t even finished asking when—

SMACK!

"Ouu!! Why?"

"That’s for asking dumb questions. Now get to it."

Grumbling softly, I placed my hand on her shoulder as I muttered inwardly,

"Devour..."

I wasn’t going to touch anything involving her void origin that was sealed. Shaia made it clear that my existence level wasn’t high enough to dabble in such a thing yet, so I focused on her other bloodlines,

<<DEVOURING IN PROGRESS...>>

<<DING!>>

<<You have acquired a fragment of the <Omni-beast suppression bloodline>, <Draken Bloodline>...>>

<<You have acquired the <space dragon bloodline>...>>

My eyes opened to a pale-faced Raven, her aura having plummeted to mortal levels as she swayed.

I reached out, catching her swaying form.

"It’ll only take a minute." She nodded.

My eyes closed once more as I invoked my bloodline abilities; first up:

"Restore the Draken bloodline to its true state."

[DING!]

[Bloodline restoration in progress...]

I held my breath; this was the moment of truth. Luckily, the system didn’t make me wait long as:

[Bloodlines restored!]

[You have received [PRIMORDIAL]<Lord of Primality Bloodline>]

"Ehh??" I froze.

"Is... is something wrong?" Aunt V’s weak voice snapped me out of my stunned state as I shook my head. "No, nothing is wrong." But internally,

"Shaia, what’s going on?"

"It would seem these so-called Calderans aren’t even the true owners of this bloodline. To think it would be a primordial bloodline."

"How did a primordial bloodline even get to such a destitute place?" Sana’s shocked voice sounded out.

"Husband just keeps on being amazing." Terra.

I couldn’t help falling into brief thought, but then again, "Who cares?" Who cared how a primordial bloodline fragmented so much till it got here? Was it the first fragment of a primordial bloodline I was seeing? Didn’t that monkey have one?

"No use thinking about it." I shrugged, focus returning to the task at hand.

"Time for the true main event."

Taking a deep breath, I gave the order:

"Elevate the bloodline <Lord of Primality>."

[DING!]

[Touch of The Absolute is in effect...]

[Forceful elevation of the <Lord of Primality> bloodline is in progress...]

Now this would determine if I could turn everyone around me into monsters never before seen or not.

My breathing slowed as it felt like time moved at a crawling pace.

[DING!]

The system’s ding sent a jolt through my body, my eyes locking onto the screen as the moment of truth approached, and then,

"Ohh... this... this is going to be good." I couldn’t help exposing my entire set of teeth in a toothy grin as my eyes landed on the thing I’d just received...

[You have acquired [ABSOLUTE]<Abyssal Sovereign Light of Primality> bloodline.]

....

....
