Seeing Xue Ling fly into a rage, Shen Haoran quickly pulled a set of black martial attire from his Storage Ring and threw it on. At the same time, he shot backward, putting distance between himself and Xue Ling. "Stop, stop, stop! Calm down! Can you just let me explain?" he said quickly.
"Hmph! What is there to explain?" At some point, a light robe had appeared on Xue Ling, covering her body. She spoke coldly.
"Ahem... To be honest, I didn’t want this to happen either," Shen Haoran explained. "But yesterday, I had no choice. If you hadn’t been tempting me, this wouldn’t have happened. But since it already has, I’ll apologize, all right?"
"Hmph! Apologize? Fine, you can apologize. Compensate me with your life!" Xue Ling completely ignored Shen Haoran’s explanation. With a wave of her hand, a bolt of Spiritual Power shot howling toward him.
Seeing this, Shen Haoran’s figure flashed, and he dodged the powerful bolt of Spiritual Power. He immediately bolted for the cave entrance. ’If I can’t beat this Snake Emperor, all I can do is run.’
"You think you can run? Get back here!" Seeing Shen Haoran trying to escape, Xue Ling roared, and her figure vanished, reappearing in pursuit.
