Chaos Heaven-Dominating Technique

Chapter 529 - 525: The Slaughter Begins

"Who dares touch my grandfather!"

A furious roar echoed. Immediately after, a figure descended from the sky, crashing down like a meteor upon the Elder from Fallen Valley. A terrifying power erupted instantly, shredding the Elder’s clothes. His muscles spasmed violently and his body bent into an unbelievable arc before he was launched like a cannonball into the raging sea of fire, his fate unknown.

The entire sequence happened in a flash. Before anyone present could react, they saw the Fallen Valley Elder sent flying, violently spitting up blood mixed with fragments of his internal organs. It was clear he wouldn’t survive.

"Shen Haoran, it’s you!" a Martial Artist from Fallen Valley cried out in alarm once they got a clear look at the newcomer. The members of the Shen Family were overcome with excitement, the despair on their faces instantly vanishing.

"Haoran, is it really you?" Old Sir Shen said, his voice trembling as he gazed at Shen Haoran’s back, his old eyes turning red.

Hearing Old Sir Shen’s extremely weak voice, Shen Haoran quickly turned and helped him up. He nodded gently and said, "Grandfather, I’m sorry. I’m late."

Shen Haoran carefully assessed Old Sir Shen’s condition. His grandfather’s Dantian was shattered, and his meridians were completely severed and blocked. He was clinging to life by a single thread. ’If I had been even a step later, I would be holding a corpse right now!’

Seeing Old Sir Shen’s wretched state, Shen Haoran’s eyes turned bloodshot. A terrifying killing intent swirled around him, and the sharp gusts of wind it generated carved fissures into the surrounding ground.

Shen Haoran took a Healing Elixir from his Storage Ring and fed it to Old Sir Shen. His grandfather’s injuries were severe; for now, he could only stabilize his condition and figure out a solution later.

"Grandfather, rest easy for now. Leave this to me," Shen Haoran said without expression as he gently laid the unconscious Old Sir Shen, who had passed out after taking the Elixir, at the base of an ancient tree. Shen Haoran then stood up and walked toward the group of Martial Artists from Fallen Valley.

As Shen Haoran walked forward, his gaze swept over the nearby corpses, and his expression grew increasingly grim. They were all bodies of the Shen Family. Shen Haoran could even name every single one of them. Among the bodies were children, women, and the elderly.

"Shen Zhitian, my childhood tutor who taught me how to read. Shen Ji, my third uncle’s youngest grandson, the youngest of the Shen Family’s direct line. I still remember three years ago, the kid would follow me around, calling me ’young uncle’ and begging me to teach him Cultivation. And... isn’t that Shen Ying? The little girl who would blush whenever she saw me. I remember her so clearly! And..." As Shen Haoran walked, he softly called out the names of the Shen Family members lying in pools of blood.

As Shen Haoran called out the names, his face grew darker and darker. But soon, his expression became completely unreadable. Finally, a sinister smile even crept onto his lips as two lines of bloody tears streamed down his cheeks. The crimson drops fell to the ground, mingling with the blood of the fallen Shen Family members.

If anyone could see Shen Haoran’s heart, they would be stunned speechless. For his heart was bleeding—truly, literally bleeding. The people lying on the ground were his family. And now, they had been senselessly slaughtered by these disciples from Fallen Valley. Some were in the prime of their lives, others not yet adults. They had so much time left to live, but now...

A sob caught in Shen Haoran’s throat, leaving him unable to speak.

’Elder Yan, not a single one of these people leaves here alive today. Do you understand?’ Shen Haoran’s icy voice resounded in his mind. He had already lost his reason. Right now, Shen Haoran was nothing more than a killing machine, driven by a single obsession: to kill every last person from Fallen Valley before him, leaving none alive. He would use their blood as an offering to the spirits of the fallen Shen Family.

Elder Yan was well aware of Shen Haoran’s current state, but he had no intention of stopping him. Elder Yan knew that nothing was more important to Shen Haoran than his family, nothing more important than the people he cared for. If even the heavens themselves had allowed the disciples of Fallen Valley to slaughter the Shen Family, Shen Haoran would tear a hole in them. There was nothing Elder Yan could do now but support Shen Haoran with all his might.

A vast Spiritual Thought flowed like a tide into every corner of Shen Haoran’s body. In that instant, his strength skyrocketed, swiftly breaking through the Spirit Marquis Level and charging straight to the Spirit Aspect Peak. At this moment, Elder Yan had once again lent his power to Shen Haoran.

Shen Haoran’s steps were slow, but with each one, his killing intent and aura grew stronger. By the time he stood before the disciples of Fallen Valley, his soaring aura and terrifying killing intent made even the Spirit Aspect Stage Elder tremble, his feet involuntarily taking a step back.

Sensing Shen Haoran’s aura, the Fifth Elder frowned for a moment before his expression relaxed. ’Just a Spirit Marquis Peak,’ he thought. ’Hardly worth my concern.’ He then said coldly, "Shen Haoran, what a pleasant surprise. We were just wondering how to find you, and here you are, delivering yourself to our doorstep. Perfect. Today, we’ll wipe you all out. Not a single one of you will escape. You’ll all d—"

However, before the Fifth Elder could utter the word "die," he felt a powerful gust of wind rushing toward him. He instinctively retreated, but he was a step too slow. Shen Haoran’s palm, carrying a whistling gale, slapped him directly across the face. The Fifth Elder’s body was sent flying backward.

"That’s right. Today, none of you will run. You will all die!" Shen Haoran’s hoarse voice rasped from his throat. A cruel smile touched his lips as he charged directly into the group of Fallen Valley disciples. Gleams of black Sword Light flashed incessantly as the Soul-devouring Sword erupted with dazzling radiance. In the next moment, countless chunks of flesh mixed with blood shot into the sky. Agonized screams echoed endlessly, spreading throughout the entire forest and shrouding it in a crimson mist, as grim and terrifying as Netherworld Hell...
