"What!" Hearing this, the Bai Family members shot to their feet, glaring at Shen Haoran. They had all caught the same shocking piece of information in his declaration. ’The Bai Family Patriarch... Lady Ya?’ Since the previous Patriarch’s death, the Bai Family had been leaderless. They had debated the succession long ago, but no one would yield, so the position had remained vacant. And now some outsider was appointing a Patriarch for them?

Everyone froze, stunned by Shen Haoran’s command. Before they could even process it, a black shadow materialized in front of Bai Hong. The sneer was still on his face when a palm struck him, the immense force sending him flying into the far wall with a heavy THUD.
