Chapter 282: The Night We Became One (2)

[Alert: Mature Content]

Rebecca hissed slightly at the stretch as a mixture of pain and pleasure passed through her. Her legs parted further to accommodate him, and he paused for a moment, studying her expression before moving deeper.

The sensation made her body tense around him, and Cedric swallowed as he felt just how tightly she held him. "You’re so tight," he murmured, almost to himself.

It had been ages since Rebecca had last been intimate with anyone, and the long years had made her body unused to the feeling of being joined with a man again.

She needed time to adjust to him, especially because of his size, and Cedric understood that he could not simply rush into it because he wanted her.

He looked down at her and noticed the tears gathering in her eyes, so he leaned down and kissed her, allowing his lips and tongue to distract her from the discomfort as he moved deeper.

Rebecca wrapped her legs around him as he thrust slowly, and the feeling of being completely joined made her breath catch. Cedric remained close to her, moving carefully while she clutched his strong arms, and there was something strangely beautiful about the way the pain gradually gave way to pleasure.

She had not felt anything like this in a very long time, and the emotions rushing through her were almost as overwhelming as the physical sensation itself. Tears gathered at the corners of her eyes, although they were happy ones, because she had never imagined that she would experience something like this again.

Cedric stayed attentive to every reaction she gave him, and once he felt her body begin to relax around him, he gradually increased his rhythm. His movements became steadier as he thrust in and out of her, and the sounds of their bodies moving together filled the room alongside Rebecca’s soft moans. She arched into him, her breasts bouncing against his chest with every movement, and the contact almost made Cedric lose his mind.

She trembled in his arms with each thrust, her nails dragging lightly across his back and leaving faint marks behind as she held onto him. Every so often, their lips met, and they would kiss as though they needed that closeness just as much as they needed the rhythm of their bodies. Cedric would slow down while their mouths remained together, and then, when the kiss broke, the pace would gradually build again, leaving Rebecca breathless.

She felt as though she were floating, carried somewhere far beyond the room as euphoria washed through her. The sensations continued to build until she could no longer keep them to herself, and she clutched more tightly to his arms.

"Faster, please..." she begged, her voice breathless as she needed him to take her even higher.

Cedric listened immediately, increasing his pace as Rebecca held onto him, her fingers tightening against his arms while her moans grew louder. The tension inside her became almost unbearable, and she could feel herself getting closer and closer to losing control. Cedric remained focused on her, watching every change in her expression and responding to her movements because he wanted her to feel exactly what she needed.

When the tension finally overwhelmed her, her body tightened around him, and Cedric felt the change immediately. Rebecca’s muscles contracted as she surrendered to the pleasure, and she held onto him through the intensity before slowly beginning to relax again.

Rebecca breathed heavily with her lips parted, her hands gradually loosening around his arms as the last waves of pleasure moved through her. Her body felt weak and warm, and she could barely gather enough strength to move as she tried to steady her breathing.

And after a few more thrusts, Cedric felt himself come apart as well, his head sinking against her chest while he breathed heavily.

For a while, neither of them spoke. Cedric simply listened to the rapid beating of Rebecca’s heart while she tried to regain her breath, and the intimacy of the moment made her chest fill with a happiness she had almost forgotten was possible. Her fingers eventually found his dark hair, and she ran them through it slowly, caressing him with a tenderness that made him lift his head.

"That was..." Rebecca said, and then she smiled. "the most beautiful night I’ve ever had," she admitted.

Cedric exhaled heavily, his gaze lifting to meet hers. There was a faint smile on his lips, but his expression quickly softened as he looked at the woman lying beneath him.

"I’m glad I pleased you well, Rebecca," he murmured, although after a brief pause, his expression became more serious. "However, It wasn’t simply desire, Rebecca. I was loving you."

Rebecca’s eyes immediately grew glassy, and her fingers continued to move gently through his hair as she looked at him. Those words meant far more to her than anything else he could have said because she knew he was not speaking about the act itself. He was telling her that he had given himself to her, not simply his body, but his heart as well.

"Then it is the best loving of my life," she whispered with a small smile.

Cedric’s gaze remained fixed on her, and his heart filled with love and countless other emotions as he leaned down to kiss her lips. Rebecca welcomed the kiss, her fingers resting gently against his hair as she held him close.

They had finally crossed that boundary between them, but what mattered most to Cedric was that they had done it together, with trust, tenderness, and the love that had brought them to this moment in the first place.

Cedric could not help thinking that this would not be the last night they shared like this... because if this was what loving her felt like, then he wanted many more nights just like it.

Rebecca slowly settled against him, resting her head on his chest as Cedric wrapped his arms around her and held her close. She listened to his heartbeat and the sound gradually eased the last of the tension that remained in her body.

Cedric looked down at her and gently brushed his fingers through her hair, watching as her eyes slowly grew heavier.

She had fallen asleep in his arms before he even realised it, and the sight brought a smile to his lips. He had spent most of his life thinking of duty, responsibility, and everything that was expected of him, but lying there with Rebecca against his chest made all of those things seem distant for once.

His gaze shifted around the room, taking in the unfamiliar walls of Silverkeep. This castle had never been his home before, despite everything it represented and everything that now belonged to him within it.

Yet as he looked down at the woman sleeping peacefully in his arms, he finally understood that perhaps a home had never been about the walls around him.

It was about the people waiting inside them.

And with Rebecca there beside him, Cedric realised that Silverkeep felt like home.
