When the Dark Lord entered the main hall, Zhao Ming Ye was sipping a cup of tea.

"Shall we begin?" The Dark Lord asked, not wanting to waste more time.

Zhao Ming Ye brandished the Qing Feng Sword around, slicing the dark tentacles off but the dark tentacles kept coming at him.

Finally, he got frustrated by the dark tentacles and he hurled a jade horse pendant at the Dark Lord.

The horse pendant turned into a torrent of lightning and it struck at the Dark Lord within an instant.

The dark tentacles of the Dark Lord quickly retracted and they tried to cover his body from the torrent of lightning but they weren't fast enough.

Blood flowed out from the side of the Dark Lord's lip and he wiped it off.

He smirked at Zhao Ming Ye and he hurled out dark talismans at Zhao Ming Ye in retaliation.

The dark talismans gave out a dark glow and they turned into a swarm of insects that had dark glowing eyes.

These insects swarmed at Zhao Ming Ye and they were so numerous that they blocked out the sun from him.

Everything darkened in an instant.

Zhao Ming Ye slashed with the Qing Feng Sword at them and tornadoes appeared to surround him.

Winds blew violently and his clothes flapped in the air.

The tornadoes started to make it difficult for the swarm of insects to get close to him.

Some of them were sucked into the tornadoes and ripped into pieces by the tornadoes.

However, the Dark Lord didn't stay stationary where he was and look.

He took the opportunity and lunged at Zhao Ming Ye.

Dark tentacles shot out at Zhao Ming Ye when the Dark Lord got close enough to him.

Some of the dark tentacles were sliced off by Zhao Ming Ye with the Qing Feng Sword, while some of the dark tentacles succeeded and they plunged into the arms and body of Zhao Ming Ye.

The Dark Lord blocked the slicing wave coming at him with his forearms.

It was, however, not strong enough to block it and the slicing wave cut halfway through his forearms.

Blood dripped out from the wounds but the Dark Lord ignored it.

The bones, flesh and skin of his forearms began to regenerate in the next moment.

Zhao Ming Ye didn't stop and he slashed with the Qing Feng Sword at his neck again.

This time, the Dark Lord flew away from Zhao Ming Ye and the dark tentacles that were inside Zhao Ming Ye's arms and body retracted away from it.

The Dark Lord glanced at his forearms which were already healed and he glanced at Zhao Ming Ye with a smirk.

That eerie smirk from the Dark Lord made Zhao Ming Ye realize that something wasn't right.

Zhao Ming Ye quickly sensed his body and he was horrified to find Gu worms inside it and they were slowly multiplying.

There was no other way to get the Gu worms out of his body other than killing the owner of the Gu worms.

He cursed at the Dark Lord and he lunged at the Dark Lord.

"Let's see if you can deal with this!" Zhao Ming Ye mustered all of his Spirit Qi and he slashed his sword down at the Dark Lord.

The Qing Feng Sword gave out a bright glow and it seemed to be able to slice the heavens apart when the clouds that were in the sky were being split apart by the slash from Zhao Ming Ye.

However, the Dark Lord was unfazed by it.

He smirked again at Zhao Ming Ye, raised his arm and clenched his fingers into a fist.

Splatter.

The arms and body of Zhao Ming Ye were ripped apart from within by the Gu worms.

Zhao Ming Ye coughed out a mouthful of blood and he tried to finish what he had started despite his injuries.

However, the Dark Lord glanced down at the Shopping Mall, gave out a sigh before he glanced back at Zhao Ming Ye.

He lunged towards Zhao Ming Ye suddenly and he began to self-destruct with his Spirit Qi.

Zhao Ming Ye could feel the turbulence in the air and the Spirit Qi that was expanding uncontrollably from the Dark Lord.

"Stop! You will also die!" He shouted at the Dark Lord and tried to get away from him.

But the Dark Lord didn't relent and he grabbed onto the body of Zhao Ming Ye, not releasing him even when Zhao Ming Ye was frantically stabbing him with the Qing Feng Sword.

It was to no avail and the face of Zhao Ming Ye froze when he felt the Dao in the surroundings being disrupted.

Pain struck him when the dantian of the Dark Lord started to explode.

He couldn't understand why the Dark Lord was willing to give up his life just to kill him but he didn't have any chance left to find out.

His existence was being ripped apart by the self-destruction of the Dark Lord and there was no way to stop it.

Boom!

A mushroom cloud could be seen as far as Gui Feng City and Bian Jing when it happened and the grounds of Hong Feng City shook.
