Ray flopped back onto the still-messy bed. His breathing was ragged—not from being physically wiped, but from the kind of fed-up that had piled all the way to the top of his skull. Milady’s voice kept buzzing in his head like a nasty fly that refused to dip.

"You wanna do whatever the hell you want? Fine, asshole! I’m already losing it!" Ray yelled into the empty air. His voice came out hoarse, bouncing off the quiet bedroom walls. "Wanna wreck my life, wanna bring Sonya’s memories back, wanna screw with my brain till I go crazy—do it! I’m done!"

Ray squeezed his eyes shut, threw both hands up, then just let them drop onto the mattress. Surrendered. Numb. He was at that point where Milady’s threats didn’t even scare him anymore—just left him bone-tired.

Milady’s laugh rang louder, itchy and pleased, like she was soaking up every drop of frustration leaking out of him.

’Aww, look who’s giving up,’ Milady whispered. Her voice slithered in smooth, like her tongue was licking the inside of his skull. ’But don’t act like you forgot, Ray. Last night you just slept with that older woman... and look at you now.’

Ray didn’t answer. He just stared at the ceiling with dead eyes.

’Can you believe it,’ Milady chuckled, milking the mockery, ’one night with an older woman—whose womb already swallowed other men, whose body got ripe with time—and that dead masculine soul of yours woke back up? You dominated her, Ray. Pinned her against the wall, made her moan, made her give in. Your inner beast grew fangs again just ’cause some grown-ass female watered it.’

"Shut the fuck up," Ray muttered flat, eyes not even blinking.

’I’m serious, baby,’ Milady teased again, her tone getting nastier, dripping with that fake-slutty lilt. ’You felt like a big man, huh? Felt like a real dude when you heard her whimper under you? All it took was a mature woman’s touch to wake up the monster in your pants that used to just whine. And now you wanna play nice boy? Sell some sweet love story like you ain’t the bloodthirsty stud who just got his fill off that older woman?’

Ray let out a rough breath. Milady’s words were built to poke him—guilt and horniness all mixed together. But he was way too over it to play her mind games.

"You done talking?" Ray asked cold. "If you are, shut up. I’m trying to sleep."

’Sleep?’ Milady burst out laughing, the sound bouncing ugly through whatever was left of Ray’s sanity. ’You think you can sleep easy after that masculine soul woke up? You already felt what it’s like to own a ripe female, Ray. That feeling doesn’t vanish just ’cause you close your eyes. You belong to me, and that freshly woken beast in you... is just a tool for our next game.’

Ray rolled onto his side, turning his back on the empty room, burying his ear in the pillow even though he knew it was pointless. He didn’t give a damn anymore what this demon in his head had planned. Life blows up tomorrow or the day after? Whatever. Right now he just wanted to shut his eyes and let Sonya’s leftover scent on the sheets be the only real thing keeping him from going all the way insane.

’Open X right now, Ray. Something fun’s happening,’ Milady whispered suddenly. The voice wasn’t just teasing anymore—it had that nasty little giggle in it.

Ray didn’t move an inch under the pillow. "I said I wanna sleep. I don’t care."

’Open it. Now,’ Milady ordered, this time with a heavy push that made Ray’s temple throb. ’Don’t make me move your fingers myself. You know I can. Open your phone, Ray. You don’t wanna miss this show.’

With a frustrated click of his tongue and a shaky breath, Ray threw the pillow off. He snatched the phone off the floor and opened X with a slightly trembling thumb.

The screen instantly exploded with notifications. Thousands of calls, mentions, and incoming messages almost froze the damn thing. The second his main feed refreshed, Ray’s heart felt like it stopped.

His face, full name, phone number, the apartment address he was standing in right now, even his work history—all of it was laid out in an exposed post that had already racked up tens of thousands of retweets. He’d been doxxed. His whole life dumped naked in front of the internet.

Milady’s laugh echoed in his skull again, even crunchier. ’Well? Still wanna sleep tight, Ray-Ray baby?’

Ray’s blood boiled. His head pounded harder. "Who...?" he whispered hoarse, staring at the screen with red eyes. "You? You doxxed me, you bitch?!"

’Me?’ Milady laughed like that accusation was the funniest joke she’d ever heard. ’Of course not! Sorry, sweetheart, but I don’t waste your info on a bunch of internet idiots. The only one who gets to mess with you, wreck you, and scramble your life is me. Not them.’

Ray grabbed his head like it was about to split. His messy thoughts tried to find something solid in the storm. If it wasn’t Milady, then who hated him enough and had the access to pull this?

One name suddenly popped.

"...Julia?" Ray muttered, fear and realization colliding in his eyes.

’BINGO!’ Milady squealed inside his head, voice high and satisfied. ’That brown hoe is the one who doxxed you! Turns out the little female’s got claws too, huh? So cute!’

Ray froze. Julia had actually gone nuclear and blown up his life in public like this.

’Alright, quit whining,’ Milady cut in fast, her tone snapping sharp and bossy. ’Grab your bag. Wallet, important papers, some clothes. This place is about to get weirdos or hungry reporters showing up.’

A pin and a foreign address suddenly lit up clear in Ray’s mind, dropped straight in by Milady.

’Go to that address right now,’ she ordered again. ’The game just started, Ray. And you don’t get a choice but to play.’

Heavy-hearted, head feeling like it was about to crack, Ray finally listened. His steps were quick as he moved down the apartment hallway, gripping the backpack strap stuffed with important docs and a few spare clothes. He was racing the clock before random internet people actually showed up at his door.

The whole way, the phone in his hand wouldn’t stop vibrating like crazy. Thousands of WhatsApp notifications slammed in nonstop, mixed with unknown calls stacking up until the screen almost locked. Ray ignored the pile of missed calls from random numbers, eyes scanning until one familiar name cut through the mess.

Sonya calling...

Ray let out a long breath, then slid the green button to his ear.

"Ray? Where are you? Are you okay?" Sonya’s voice came through worried. Sounded like she’d just seen the rumor spreading online too.

"Sonya, listen to me first," Ray cut in fast, eyes still checking around as he hurried. "Don’t contact me for a bit. Things are a mess right now, my phone’s getting call-bombed."

Sonya went quiet for a second on the other end, catching the panic mixed with that firm tone. "You’re safe, right?"

"I’m safe. I’ll get a new number and call you right after," Ray said steady. "Just stay calm over there. Don’t get involved."

Surprisingly, Sonya didn’t argue or fire off questions. She just exhaled soft and followed his instruction with no extra weight.

"Alright. Be careful, okay. Love you," Sonya said quiet but real before hanging up.

Ray froze for a second, his voice softening without him meaning to. "Love you too. See you."

The call dropped.

Ray lowered the phone and just stood there on the side of the road. A warm feeling shot from his chest up to his face. His cheeks felt hot. His heart was pounding—not from being chased by problems, but from two simple words that had just come out of his own mouth.

He touched his weirdly beating chest. A mix of secondhand embarrassment and "this is ridiculous" hit him. He just blushed? Got butterflies just from a "love you" from a milf?

The feeling was so foreign, like catching a high-school crush all over again—innocent, sweet, stomach full of butterflies. In the middle of his life getting smashed to pieces, the fact that he could still feel this fluttery made Ray laugh a little at himself. Felt dumb, but he couldn’t deny he was happy. The woman he used to just want to smash now made him feel better than a regular nut ever did.
