Chapter 1517: Chapter 762: That Kick Was Brutal! (Part 2)

Lin Beichen interrupted her, "No one will know, relax, I won’t mention it, let alone peek."

"At that time, only Heaven knows, Hell knows, you know, and I know."

Seeing that Emily still looked shy, Lin Beichen casually said, "Up to you, but if you end up doing it in your pants, don’t blame me for not warning you. That would be even more embarrassing."

Upon hearing this, Emily suddenly felt that Lin Beichen made sense.

"Then I’ll go, don’t come over."

"I’ll stay right here, if I take a step I’ll be your grandson." Lin Beichen waved impatiently, signaling Emily to hurry.

This foreign girl sure is long-winded.

Emily, seeing Lin Beichen agreed, couldn’t hold it anymore and immediately ran towards a small grove in the distance.

Lin Beichen naturally stayed put as he promised, without moving a bit, not wanting to become that "grandson."

He then started pondering whether to rush overnight to Mo City or find a place to sleep on the ground.

Just as he was indecisive, the sound of a car moving came from afar.

And this vehicle seemed to be coming from behind them, likely heading to Mo City as well.

So, no need to worry about them refusing since it’s on the way, so they should be agreeable.

Lin Beichen hurriedly ran towards the vehicle.

The vehicle in the distance seemed surprised to see someone in such a remote place and at night, appearing reluctant to stop.

But seeing that Lin Beichen had no weapon and didn’t look like a bad guy, the owner bit the bullet and stopped the car, saying to the friends inside, "Let’s go, bros, see what this guy wants."

Bam!

Two young men slammed the car door and walked towards Lin Beichen.

"Hey, brother, what are you doing here alone at night?"

"Why did you stop us?"

Lin Beichen had yet to explain when the man spoke first.

"My friend and I had a car mishap, it’s broken down."

"But this place is too far from the city, so we want to hitch a ride."

Speaking of his friend Emily, she was a bit confused at the moment.

Just after finishing her business, Emily came out of the bushes with a comfortable expression, only to find Lin Beichen was gone.

Instantly she thought Lin Beichen ditched her as a burden and ran off.

Then she glanced around at the desolate place, fear rising swiftly from the soles of her feet to her head.

"Lin Beichen, you bastard."

"If it weren’t for you, my car wouldn’t have..."

"Hey, hey, some people just love badmouthing others."

"How’s it my fault, you drove the car into the ditch yourself."

Seeing Lin Beichen emerge from a distant corner, though he spoke, Emily chose to ignore him, surprised, "You didn’t leave."

"Yeah, if I left, who knows who’d keep badmouthing me from behind."

Lin Beichen waved his hand and said, "Let’s go, don’t make them wait too long."

"Otherwise, this last hope is gone."

"Who?"

Emily felt a bit puzzled, "Aren’t we the only two here?"

Lin Beichen shared the good news of encountering a car, "Why do you think I’d scare you, for no reason?"

"There was a car passing not far away, so I stopped it."

Emily, clearly not expecting to meet a car this late, asked joyfully, "Did the driver agree to let us ride?"

Lin Beichen joked, "No."

"You liar, if not why come back so happy, I don’t believe you."

Emily was so angry she almost wanted to beat Lin Beichen up, though it was just a thought, as she knew from Lin Beichen’s demeanor she wasn’t really a match for him.

"Why ask if you don’t believe?"

As they spoke, they arrived by the car.

The two young men in the car stared in surprise upon seeing Emily.

They hadn’t expected Lin Beichen’s friend to be a girl, and a pretty one at that.

Emily hung her head, avoiding their invasive gazes.

If she weren’t in need of them for their car, she would’ve acted long ago.

Lin Beichen noticed Emily seemed upset and broke the awkward silence.

"Let’s go, get in, to Mo City."

Lin Beichen never imagined that his words would change the two men’s minds.

"Sorry, brother, after you left, we’ve had a problem with the car."

"What problem?"

Emily blurted out instinctively.

After all, it concerned whether she could get home early and sleep comfortably.

"Brother, the car can only seat three people now."

Lin Beichen felt speechless, even amused. He’d never heard of a car that could only seat three and not four as an issue.

This wasn’t a race car, nor was there not enough space.

"Is it that the car can only seat two men and a woman?"

Actually, the men were eyeing Emily with ill intentions, not wanting to take Lin Beichen along as it might hinder their plans for Emily.

As for what plans, everyone knew well.

But they were unaware that Emily had some martial skills, even if Lin Beichen wasn’t there, these two couldn’t necessarily deal with Emily head-on.

"Humph, it’s our car, we decide who to take."

Emily realized the men were unwilling to take Lin Beichen and bore ulterior motives regarding her.

"Whether I get in the car or not is my decision."

"If my friend doesn’t come along, I’m not going either."

Lin Beichen hadn’t expected Emily to be so principled.

The two men hadn’t expected Emily to stand her ground, and harshly said, "That’ll be up to us."

Lin Beichen was surprised, before Emily’s arrival these men were friendly, willing to take him. But seeing an opportunity, they changed their tune.

Ah, humans just can’t resist temptation.

"I thought I’d give you face since it’s your car."

"Didn’t expect you guys to choose the hard way."

Emily knew Lin Beichen was formidable and chimed in, "Right, there’s a road to Heaven but you don’t take it."

"What’s the next line?"

In conversation, Emily forgot her next line, awkwardly rubbed her head and asked Lin Beichen.

"There’s no door to Hell yet you charge in." Lin Beichen covered his forehead, speechless at Emily.

The two young men in the car, seeing Lin Beichen ignoring and even threatening them, laughed angrily.

Suddenly, one of them pulled out a folding knife, laughing rashly, "Try saying it again."

"I’ll show you what white knife in, red knife out means."

Emily wasn’t scared a bit, "Oh, I’m so scared."

Seeing the target not frightened, but sarcastically taunting him, the man charged with the knife towards Lin Beichen.

Such tricks, Lin Beichen wasn’t concerned with at all.

He easily grabbed the man’s hand, twisted it, and made him reap what he sowed, stabbing himself.

If strength and speed could be quantified, Lin Beichen’s were far beyond human limits, estimated at over a hundred and thirty, while normal people and these two averaged around ten.

They couldn’t even match Lin Beichen’s scraps.

Emily saw Lin Beichen effortlessly disarm a man barehanded, her eyes filled with admiration.

Then she looked at the other enemy and said to Lin Beichen, "Let me handle this one."

Lin Beichen thought if she struggled or couldn’t win, he could assist quickly, so he nodded in agreement.

The other enemy, seeing Lin Beichen easily cripple his buddy, was terrified and contemplated escape plans.

But he didn’t expect this man to hold back now, letting the lady strike.

Wasn’t this giving him a chance to seize her and flee?

So joyfully he charged forward.

However, soon he regretted it.
