In an instant, a terrifying corrosive force spread out from the direction of the Colossus that had been slammed into the ground, completely different from the earlier data stream. Instead, it pulsed with the intense malicious fluctuations of a curse.

Colossus's Brain suddenly furrowed her brow and her body recoiled. Almost at the moment that the rolling black mist surged up, she put distance between herself and the God of All Machines.

Because she had sensed that something was wrong.

And in the next moment, within that churning black fog, the God of All Machines' dragon eye gradually shifted to a blood-red hue. Under Lynn's gaze, cracks crawled across his skull with audible clicks. A shard of metal peeled off from his cranial furnace and fell heavily to the ground.

Revealing the abyssal blackness within.

Lynn's pupils constricted in an instant. He lunged forward and squinted, saying sharply,

"Curse?!"

Seeing this, he finally understood where that wrong feeling had come from.

Because this was hell! The curse was both their shackle and their power here, yet up until now he had never seen the God of All Machines make use of any curse-derived might. He had always relied on his own intrinsic power to fight.

A twisted aura kept pouring out. The dense chains rattling across his body tightened around him with clattering sounds, as if faintly welding themselves onto his mechanical flesh.

"I have always used divinity to suppress my curse—but do not think that is all of me—I merely did not want to lose my Self—"

"But since you press me step by step—"

"Then we shall use the power of hell to have a proper contest—"

Countless fragments fell from his body, revealing the twisted black metal beneath, and Lynn immediately sensed that in his blood-red gaze, something was gradually supplanting his absolute reason.

Sir Aiwen jerked his head up as if remembering something. His expression shifted and he cried out,

"This is bad!"

He roared and immediately mobilized psychic energy toward the God of All Machines. Colossus's Brain's pupils likewise narrowed, and distant memories surged over her like a roaring tide.

Almost without hesitation, she launched herself at the God of All Machines.

"Break his process!"

That shout came.

But it was already too late.

At that very moment, the black dragon-shaped body within the rift suddenly collapsed inward like a black hole, forming a massive vortex. A jet of black light blasted out of the whirlpool toward the high sky.

Countless dense black silhouettes coalesced above the heavens.

Hum—

In an instant, Lynn felt the sky itself shudder. There, densely and three-dimensionally filling his entire vision, were black warships!

And not only did those black warships fold-jump out, almost simultaneously the entire land, his surroundings, every corner within sight, also displayed one black mechanical outline after another.

In a flash, the system panel surfaced in his eyes.

[Fallen Star Class · Planetary Combat Intelligence Machine Warship 9.0]

[Type]: Intelligent Machinery Technology (Corrupted)

[Introduction]: Planetary large-scale cruiser fleet of the Intelligence Machine Civilization. After Mechanical Ascension, it became one of the components of the God of All Machines. It is the top planetary combat unit used by the Intelligence Machine Civilization for expelling and annihilating biological civilizations. After Mechanical Ascension, it exists as data within the God of All Machines and has become extremely difficult to control due to the erosion of the curse.

[Exterminator Planetary Mechanical Armor 8.9]

[Type]: Intelligent Machinery Technology (Corrupted)

[Introduction]: Planetary landing units of the Intelligence Machine Civilization. After Mechanical Ascension they became part of the God of All Machines as data. They possess extremely strong individual combat capability and legion-based combat potential. They are the oldest and top-tier ground units of the Intelligence Machine Civilization, commonly used alongside warships to cleanse biological civilizations within a planet.

"This…"

Lynn was shaken.

Almost at the same time, a cold blood-red light appeared on the hulls of the countless warships and mechanical armors filling the sky.

"Information perturbation—requesting civilization consciousness directive—directive received—indiscriminate annihilation—initiate—"

Hum—

Those innumerable black armors instantly hovered up, locking onto every living being present. Countless annihilating particle death beams blasted toward Lynn in an instant.

Amid massive explosions and annihilation, Lynn's body was immediately transferred by the surging psychic energy to Sir Aiwen's side, but the countless black armors swept toward them like a swarming hive, blotting out the sky with chilling inevitability.

"What is this?!" Lynn demanded urgently.

Sir Aiwen's gaze hardened. He quickly guided Lynn toward a distant relocation and said gravely,

"Mechanical Tide!"

"It is also the reason the God of All Machines could sweep countless worlds before his fall! I thought that after his fall his demoted status would have cost him that differentiation ability, but it seems he hid even deeper than I imagined!"

Almost simultaneously, Lynn received a piece of data transmitted from Sir Aiwen into his mind.

It was information left over from when he had been in the Cyber era, during the fight with the God of All Machines.

And in an instant,

images from that data surfaced in Lynn's mind: an endless cosmic deep, every corner of view packed with warships and mechanical units, colossal cold dreadnoughts so enormous that stars before them seemed like ants.

Billions! Trillions! Ten trillions!

It was an indescribable, staggering panorama, and in that picture the Cyber and the Colossus seemed infinitesimal against the onslaught of the Mechanical Tide.

"This…"

Lynn was speechless with shock.

Sir Aiwen said heavily, "This is the true terror of his Mechanical Ascension. You must understand, he is not an individual but an aggregate of civilizations like ours. Before his fall he was almost a matter-devouring monster. Every system he passed would utterly vanish after him. He would first exterminate all biological civilizations, then use all usable material in those systems to manufacture swarms of machines and warships, and fuse them into himself."

"And when he needs them, those dormant fleets are released to annihilate every civilization that stands in his path."

"I thought that after his fall he would no longer be able to differentiate and deploy them, but now it appears he can still, to a certain extent, exercise this unsolvable ability!"
