Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100
Chapter 1963: A Connection!Aelric’s bloodline, Max’s own bloodline, and the statue were somehow connected. That much was obvious from the fight itself. But the question was how.
What truly disturbed Max wasn’t the connection itself. It was the way his own blood had responded to it.
The moment Aelric’s forbidden bloodline mark appeared, something inside Max’s foundation had stirred again. Not just the Tier 4 Primordial Bloodline. Not just the Heavenly Luminance Divine Bloodline or the Black Dragon Chaotic Bloodline. Something deeper had reacted, something that didn’t clearly belong to any bloodline he could name.
It felt like his body had heard a call.
For the first time, Max realized that this reaction might not stay passive. Maybe it could be tested.
His eyes moved toward the statue of the First Progenitor standing at one end of the arena. The stone figure stayed silent, its eyes closed, its massive form towering over the Bloodline Legacy Battle like an ancient judge.
When Max looked at it now, his blood pulsed faintly again. The reaction stayed subtle because he’d kept it suppressed, but it was there.
Max’s gaze deepened.
’There’s a connection.’
He didn’t know what that connection meant. He didn’t know if it was dangerous. He didn’t know if it would benefit him, Rose, or neither of them.
But he knew one thing. If he did nothing, he might lose the chance to uncover it.
A daring thought rose in his mind. It was reckless. It was bold. It would definitely alarm the Four Sacred Clans. But the longer Max looked at the statue, the more certain he became that ordinary methods wouldn’t be enough to pull out the truth. The forbidden bloodline of the Four Sacred Clans was buried too deep.
Rose couldn’t even say its true name outside the clan. The Evercrest elders would never willingly explain the deeper secret to an outsider, no matter how famous he was. If Max wanted answers, he had to force the hidden connection to respond.
He made up his mind.
At that moment, Angelina Valerius looked toward him from the edge of the battlefield.
"Max Morgan," she said, her voice carrying across the arena once the noise started to settle. "As the victor, you may remain in the arena. Do you wish to challenge anyone else?"
The question pulled everyone’s attention back to him. Many people from the Four Sacred Clans straightened up. After beating Aelric Evercrest, Max had already earned Rose an enormous amount of legacy merit.
If he kept challenging others, the Bloodline Legacy Battle might turn into a stage where he swept through the sacred clan heirs one by one.
Cassian Valerius opened his eyes on the Valerius platform. Draven Ashbourne grinned coldly. Seraphine Ravenhart watched with calm interest. Several other heirs and representatives tensed up too, wondering if Max would point at them next.
Rose looked at Max from the lower platform. She was still stunned by his win over Aelric, but the second she saw his expression, her chest tightened.
She knew that look. Max was about to do something unexpected.
Max looked at Angelina and shook his head. "I don’t want to challenge anyone else."
The arena stirred slightly. Some people relaxed. Some frowned.
Angelina raised an eyebrow with faint interest. "Then do you wish to leave the battlefield?"
"No."
Angelina’s smile deepened. "Then what do you want to do?"
Max looked toward the statue of the First Progenitor. "I want to try something else."
The arena quieted again.
Angelina’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Try what?"
Max lowered Dragonheart, then slowly put the sword away. That alone confused a lot of people. A swordsman putting his sword away in the middle of the Bloodline Legacy Battle was strange enough on its own, but Max’s next words made things even more peculiar.
"I don’t know."
The words carried clearly across the arena. For a moment, nobody understood what he meant. Even Angelina fell silent.
Max didn’t explain. He raised his right hand slowly, then clenched it into a fist.
Deep inside his foundation, he reached toward a power he didn’t fully control and didn’t casually reveal. The Dimensional Keeper legacy had been the reason he’d beaten Revona’s Null Origin Tide, but after that battle, he’d only used it cautiously. It was too mysterious, too vast, too far beyond his current understanding.
But now Max needed something capable of touching the hidden layer behind the forbidden bloodline. Ordinary power wouldn’t be enough.
His Primordial Bloodline stirred. His Dimensional Sovereign Body woke up. His blood pulsed toward the statue.
Then the Dimensional Keeper legacy answered.
A dark starry light began gathering around Max’s fist. At first, it looked like faint specks of silver shining beneath his skin. Then those specks multiplied, spreading across his hand like a night sky being born inside flesh.
Each point of light looked small, but if you looked closely, each star seemed to hold a sealed dimension. They shimmered, rotated, and folded inward, making Max’s fist look like it was no longer made of flesh but of countless small worlds hidden inside a dark cosmic sky.
The whole arena went silent.
A star fist. That was the only way to describe it. Max’s fist looked like a piece of the universe had condensed around his hand.
The moment this power appeared, the Four Sacred Clans reacted instantly. Bloodline pressure erupted across the arena, not from Max attacking anyone, but from their own bloodlines reacting.
Every member of Valerius, Ashbourne, Ravenhart, and Evercrest felt it at once. Their forbidden bloodlines trembled inside their bodies, then sank, as if an invisible weight had come down from above.
Some weaker descendants clutched their chests. Some heirs stood up in disbelief. Several elders’ expressions changed sharply. Even the strongest young geniuses of the four clans couldn’t stay fully calm.
Cassian Valerius opened his eyes fully, sacred solar light flickering around him in an unstable rhythm. Draven Ashbourne’s grin vanished as the blood-iron aura inside his body shook. Seraphine Ravenhart’s silver-purple eyes widened slightly for the first time, and the shadows around her seat pulled back as if afraid.
On the Evercrest platform, Aelric’s face turned pale again even though he’d already lost. The bloodline mark between his brows flickered weakly, as if it wanted to bow and resist at the same time.
Rose staggered half a step. Her eyes widened as she stared at Max’s fist. Even though she’d been born without the forbidden bloodline, she was still a direct descendant of Evercrest.
She could feel something calling from deep within the ancestral arena. It felt faint, painful, and overwhelming, like a sealed inheritance had suddenly sensed a key.
"What is that?" someone whispered.
No one answered. Because no one knew.
