Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100
Chapter 1985: Oliver Voidwalker!Every stone, every mark, every folded layer of space, and every star-like point of light carried that same deep bloodline resonance that had been stirring inside Max ever since the abandoned fifth end woke up. Even Freya, who’d stayed calm in front of the Four Sacred Clans and their ancestors, went quieter after stepping into this place.
The Voidwalker Ancestor walked ahead of them. His figure still looked faint, and Max could tell this wasn’t his full body. He was a remnant, a projection, or something bound to this sealed chamber. But inside this place, his presence felt far more stable. The dark starry light around him no longer flickered like a dying flame. Instead, it moved with calm strength, as if the chamber itself were lending him support.
He stopped in front of the floating black crystal sphere and turned around, his eyes moving from Freya to Max.
Then he asked, "Was your father named Oliver Voidwalker?"
The question was simple. But the moment it came out, something inside Max tightened.
Oliver Voidwalker. His father. The man who’d disappeared into the Celestial Thorn Abyss along with his mother, Divine Queen Caelira. The man Max had been searching for, tied up in the mysteries of the second elven faction, the Heavenly Luminance Divine Bloodline, Freya, and now the Voidwalker Clan itself.
Max looked at Freya. Her expression had shifted slightly too. For a brief moment, the strong, cold woman who’d surrounded the Bloodline Legacy Battle arena with thousands of Voidwalker descendants looked less like a commander and more like a daughter hearing her father’s name after far too long.
Both of them nodded.
"Yes," Max said.
Freya’s voice followed quietly. "Oliver Voidwalker is our father."
The Voidwalker Ancestor closed his eyes. For a long moment, he said nothing. The chamber stayed silent, but the silver rings on the walls trembled faintly, as if the name Oliver had stirred up some old memory buried inside the Voidwalker inheritance.
At last, the old man sighed.
"Oliver was a good kid."
His voice came out softer now. Not the voice of an ancient being facing down four sacred ancestors. Not the voice of a sealed remnant exposing buried history in front of an entire arena. It was the voice of an old man remembering someone from his own bloodline.
"One of the few who managed to escape," he continued.
Max’s eyes sharpened. "Escape from where?"
The Voidwalker Ancestor looked at him. "From the sealing net of the Four Sacred Clans. After the main Voidwalker bloodline got sealed, not every branch was captured at once. Some outer descendants had already been sent away before the final judgment. Some hid in folded worlds. Some changed their names. Some joined other races and forces. Some got hunted down over the years. Some survived."
His gaze moved to Freya.
"Your father was one of the ones who survived."
Freya’s hands tightened slightly. "He never told us everything."
The Voidwalker Ancestor nodded. "He probably couldn’t. The Four Sacred Clans placed bloodline restrictions, memory traps, and tracking seals across a lot of old records. Those who escaped carried pieces of the history, but talking too much could expose them. In the end, most of our descendants learned to stay quiet, not because they were ashamed of the Voidwalker name, but because silence kept them alive."
Max’s expression turned colder. Freya had once warned him never to say the Voidwalker name out loud. Now he finally understood why.
The Voidwalker Ancestor looked at him with a trace of regret. "Oliver should’ve been able to stand here himself one day. He had talent. He had patience. More importantly, he had the stubbornness that runs through our clan. But fate wasn’t kind to him."
Max’s eyes deepened. "My parents are still alive."
The Voidwalker Ancestor looked at him.
Max continued, "They’re imprisoned in the Celestial Thorn Abyss."
A heavy silence filled the chamber. Freya looked at Max sharply. She’d known more than most, but hearing Max say it so plainly still sent a flash of pain through her eyes.
The Voidwalker Ancestor’s expression turned complicated.
"Celestial Thorn Abyss," he repeated softly. "So that’s where they ended up."
Max stepped forward. "You know it?"
"I know of that prison," the old man said. "That place isn’t simple. If Oliver’s really imprisoned there, rescuing him won’t be easy. The elves are one of the three races of the Divine Realm, and they’re not to be underestimated."
Max’s gaze didn’t waver. "I know."
The Voidwalker Ancestor looked at him for a long moment. Then he nodded.
"Good. At least you understand that much."
He turned and raised his hand toward the floating black crystal sphere. The sphere trembled, and the silver rings across the walls started rotating faster. A path opened at the far end of the chamber, but it wasn’t a normal door. It was a corridor made from overlapping dimensional rings, each one leading deeper into a hidden part of the abandoned Voidwalker end.
The old man spoke again.
"Since both of you are Oliver’s children, and both of you carry the Voidwalker bloodline, you’re members of my clan."
His gaze turned solemn.
"And members of my clan shouldn’t stand before the world without our inheritance."
Max and Freya both looked at him.
The Voidwalker Ancestor continued, "The Four Sacred Clans called us traitors and sealed our main bloodline, but they never destroyed the true inheritance of the Voidwalker Clan. They could abandon our end. They could erase our name from public history. They could imprison our people. But the inheritance chamber was hidden away before the final sealing, and only a descendant with the true Voidwalker bloodline can get inside."
The corridor of dimensional rings brightened. Max could feel it calling to him from within. It wasn’t as overwhelming as the Dimensional Keeper Legacy. It didn’t make his soul tremble the way the First Progenitor’s remnant had. But it still felt powerful, ancient, and deeply tied to his blood. It felt like a road that had been waiting for him since before he even knew his surname mattered.
Freya’s eyes changed too. She’d clearly known about the Voidwalker remnants, and she’d brought thousands of them to the arena, but from her expression, even she hadn’t stepped into this place before.
The Voidwalker Ancestor noticed her look and nodded faintly. "The outer descendants held onto what they could, but this chamber was sealed with me. Neither of you could enter until the abandoned fifth end woke up again. Max’s arrival opened up what had been buried for so many years."
Freya glanced at Max. Max looked back at her. For a moment, neither of them spoke.
