Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100
Chapter 1998: Forceful Awakening! The awakening of a Primordial Bloodline ability was never meant to be a quick process.
For most members of the Primordial Race, awakening a true bloodline ability required decades of slow adaptation. Some needed centuries.
A Primordial had to let the bloodline settle into the body, fuse with the soul, nourish the bones, refine the organs, and gradually change the way their laws interacted with the world. Only after the bloodline became a natural part of their existence would a hidden ability begin to surface.
But Max and the others did not have decades.
They did not even have years.
The devils had already entered their universe, the Wall of Eternity had already been pierced, Varok was walking around with the Pearl of Abyss, and the meeting between the Primordials and the devils would take place in a week.
Because of that, the Primordial Race had chosen a method that was rarely used unless the situation was urgent.
The training facility had been activated at the highest level.
Level Ten Order.
At this level, the chamber no longer guided the bloodline gently. It no longer waited for the body to adapt naturally. Instead, it flooded the cultivator with concentrated primordial source energy and forced the dormant ability within the Primordial Bloodline to awaken ahead of time.
It was a crude method.
It was dangerous.
It was not recommended even among the Primordial Race.
Although the method worked, it often left behind unstable bloodline foundations. Some Primordials suffered torn meridians. Some experienced soul backlash. Some lost control of their bloodline for years afterward. Some even suffered bloodline combustion, where the dormant power ignited violently inside their bodies and burned them from within before stabilizing.
Yet this method had been used before in ancient wars.
When time was short and survival mattered more than perfection, the Primordial Race had always been willing to take risks.
Now, the same method was being used on the ten geniuses.
Inside his isolated training space, Max sat cross-legged within the golden primordial mist.
Time passed strangely here.
The first day was silent.
The golden mist seeped into his body layer by layer, and his Tier 4 Primordial Bloodline responded like a sleeping ancient beast slowly opening its eyes. The energy did not merely enter his veins. It examined them. It pressed against them. It searched for something hidden within the deepest part of his bloodline origin.
On the second day, the pressure increased.
The primordial source energy became heavier and far more aggressive. It entered Max’s blood, bones, soul, and laws at the same time, trying to force the bloodline ability to appear. His five Divine Veins pulsed one after another, helping his body stabilize the impact.
The Vein of Resilience reduced the damage caused by the pressure. The Vein of Vitality repaired the tiny cracks that appeared inside his body. The Vein of Origin anchored his foundation, preventing the primordial force from scattering through him uncontrollably.
On the third day, the first signs of bloodline combustion appeared.
Golden flames suddenly ignited inside Max’s veins.
They were not external flames.
They burned from within his blood.
A sharp heat spread through his body, and for a brief moment, Max felt as if every drop of blood inside him had turned into molten gold. His skin flushed with light, his bones released faint cracking sounds, and ancient primordial runes surfaced briefly across his arms, chest, neck, and face before sinking back into his flesh.
Max opened his eyes slightly.
’So this is the danger Sarvion mentioned.’
He had already realized that the chamber was not training him gently. It was forcing his Primordial Bloodline to reveal something that should have taken years to awaken naturally. The process was effective, but it was also brutal.
The golden flames inside his bloodline tried to burn open the hidden ability, and if his body had been weaker, his bloodline might have collapsed before the ability even appeared.
Fortunately, Max’s body was not normal.
His foundation had been strengthened too many times.
His Black Dragon Chaotic Bloodline gave him a terrifying physical body and monstrous vitality. His five Divine Veins reinforced different aspects of his existence. His Dimensional Sovereign Body had already transformed the nature of his physique.
His Voidwalker inheritance had deepened his dimensional foundation. And more importantly, his Unholy Trinity Body seemed capable of containing different kinds of powers without allowing them to destroy one another.
That was the strangest part.
Inside Max, too many powers existed together.
Black Dragon Chaotic Bloodline, Heavenly Luminance Divine Bloodline, Tier 4 Primordial Bloodline, Voidwalker bloodline, Dimensional Keeper Legacy, Divine King Punishment, Emotion Severing Path, Devouring Flames, Dimensional Sovereign Body, Dimension of Soul, and his Divine Veins should have made his body a chaotic battlefield.
But the Unholy Trinity Body acted like a terrifying vessel that could hold them all. It did not make every conflict disappear, but it prevented those powers from tearing his body apart whenever they awakened, clashed, or evolved.
Because of that, Max endured the bloodline combustion.
It hurt.
The golden fire burning inside his veins was not something he could ignore, but it did not cripple him. It burned through his blood, and his body repaired the damage just as quickly.
It surged toward his soul, and his Dimension of Soul swallowed much of the impact. It tried to disrupt his law foundation, and his Tier 4 Primordial Bloodline drew the laws closer instead, turning part of the damage into nourishment.
By the fourth day, the other geniuses had already begun awakening their bloodline abilities.
Max could not see them clearly because each platform had isolated its own training space, but he could still sense several violent fluctuations through the chamber. One aura erupted with a crushing force that seemed to distort gravity.
Another released a storm of primordial lightning. Another carried a freezing pressure that slowed the movement of laws. Another burned with a pale golden radiance that made the entire chamber tremble faintly.
They were awakening faster than him.
Not because their foundations were better.
But because their Primordial Bloodlines were lower in level.
Their bloodlines were easier to force open.
The abilities sleeping inside them were powerful, but not as deeply buried as the one inside Max. The lower the level of the Primordial Bloodline, the easier it was for the Level Ten Order to tear open the sealed ability.
That was why some of the others awakened on the second day, and several more awakened on the third and fourth days.
But their success came with a price.
