Chapter 571: Golden Level Adventurer

Chapter 571: Chapter 571: Golden Level Adventurer

"Storage Equipment!!"

"That guy has Storage Equipment. It looks like he got a lot of good stuff in the Dusk Forest!!"

"..."

Seeing this, a greedy green glint appeared in the eyes of many of the adventurers.

In the Andoras World, Storage Equipment was an extremely rare, Top-Level item. Many Legendary Level Professional Skill Users didn’t even have one.

Any piece of Storage Equipment, if taken to an auction house, could fetch a sky-high price of over one hundred million Gold Coins. That was an enormous fortune, enough for someone to live lavishly for the rest of their life.

"These are indeed goblin ears! Here is your Adventurer’s Badge and your bounty."

Risha’s beautiful eyes lit up. After a quick count, she handed a Black Iron Badge and a small bag of bounty money to Shu Feng.

With that Black Iron Adventurer Badge, Shu Feng could now travel freely throughout the various Human Realms.

"I’ll take these quests!"

Shu Feng walked over to the quest wall, tore down all the Black Iron Level announcements for hunting Demons in the Dusk Forest, and returned to the counter.

"Hey, Kahn, are you aware that these Black Iron Level quests have time limits? If you accept them and can’t finish them on time, you’ll have to pay a fine!"

A burly, scar-covered middle-aged man who exuded a fierce aura and wore a Bronze Badge offered a word of caution.

Risha also kindly reminded him, "That’s right, Kahn. You’ve accepted so many Black Iron Level hunting quests. You must complete all of them within the time limit, or you’ll have to pay a hefty fine. Please, reconsider."

"Don’t worry!"

With a wave of Shu Feng’s hand, a dense pile of materials from all sorts of Demons appeared, stacked high on the counter and reeking of blood.

"So many Low-Level Demons!! This guy is a power-leveling maniac!!"

"To think he’s hunted so many Demons... if he doesn’t die, he’s going to become a real powerhouse!"

"..."

The other adventurers gasped when they saw the pile of Demon materials on the counter.

Everyone knew that the Dusk Forest was teeming with Demons, and that hunting them allowed one to evolve and grow stronger. However, those same Demons could also evolve and grow stronger by hunting human adventurers.

The vast majority of human adventurers who entered the Dusk Forest formed parties to hunt Demons far weaker than themselves, unwilling to casually challenge those that were too powerful.

This was because most human adventurers were dirt-poor; after buying their Demon Equipment, they had little money left. If they were seriously injured by a Demon, they would either have to retire or be crippled. Their fates were often tragic.

Priests, Professional Skill Users with the Ability for Healing, were mostly experts from the Skill God Church. To receive a Priest’s Divine Healing, one either had to pay a huge sum of money or join the Skill God Church and serve it.

For this very reason, the Skill God Church was filled with countless masters and powerhouses willing to serve it.

Likewise, the Serpent of Fear Church also had countless expert adventurers serving it, as the Snake of Fear was also a True God and had Priests of its own.

Powerhouses like Shu Feng, who stayed in the Dusk Forest hunting Demons with such reckless abandon, would either die without a trace or evolve at a crazy rate, advancing all the way to become a Legendary Level Professional Skill User.

Shu Feng said flatly, "Are these quests enough for me to advance to a Bronze Level adventurer?"

A strange glint flashed in Risha’s beautiful eyes. With a dazzling smile, she said, "More than enough! Completing these quests is sufficient for you to advance to a Bronze Level adventurer. Let me tally everything up for you and pay out your bounty."

"Give me the Bronze Level Adventurer’s Badge first."

Shu Feng handed his Black Iron Adventurer Badge to Risha.

"Yes, Lord Kahn!"

Risha quickly handed a Bronze Badge to Shu Feng, then began to calculate the bounties for the various quests.

Shu Feng walked back to the quest wall and tore down all the Bronze Level hunting quests related to the Dusk Forest.

"Again?"

"This monster! This madman must have killed a ton of Demons in the Dusk Forest."

"Now this is getting interesting! This guy is definitely more than just a Silver Level adventurer. He’s probably Golden Level, or maybe even has the strength of a Secret Silver Level adventurer."

"..."

The entire Adventurer’s Guild was suddenly in an uproar.

In the Dusk City Adventurer’s Guild, the strongest adventurers were Silver Level. Of course, Dusk City had produced Golden Level adventurers before, but as soon as they appeared, they were either recruited by the Dusk City Lord or left for other cities with more resources.

Risha said, "Elle, come over and help me count this."

"Okay!"

A tall, curvy, and alluring receptionist with long, wavy blue hair immediately came forward and began helping to tally the Demon materials for the Black Iron Level quests.

"Here are the Demon materials for these quests! I want to advance to Silver Level adventurer."

Shu Feng set down the Bronze Level quest announcements and, with another wave of his hand, a new pile of Demon materials appeared.

Risha smiled, now with a trace of reverence. "Of course, Lord Kahn. Please wait a moment."

From the looks of it, Shu Feng intended to keep advancing all the way to Golden, or even Secret Silver Level. Adventurers like that were Top Level masters in the Adventurer’s Guild—truly great figures.

The branch president of the Dusk City Adventurer’s Guild was only a Golden Level adventurer himself.

Right there in the Adventurer’s Guild, Shu Feng quickly advanced from a Silver Level adventurer to a Golden Level adventurer, only stopping then.

This was because Dusk City had too few resources to post many Golden Level quests. As for Secret Silver Level and Legendary Tasks, their bounties were astronomical, and the Dusk City Lord simply couldn’t afford them.

After settling the bounties for all the various Demon hunting quests, Shu Feng had only earned 1,000 Gold Coins. After all, a single Golden Level quest was typically only worth a little over a hundred Gold Coins, and Silver Level hunting quests were worth even less.

"Risha, I want to become a Legendary Level adventurer. Where would be the best place to go?"

With a flick of his finger, Shu Feng sent a Gold Coin spinning into Risha’s hand.

Risha gave him a sweet smile and recommended, "Lord Kahn, if you wish to become a Legendary Level adventurer, you must go to the Saint Arman Kingdom Capital, the Aikaen Kingdom Capital, the Shadow Kingdom, the Holy Capital Bomanel City, or Demon Suppression City outside the Black Demon Mountain Range. Only these five cities are qualified to issue Legendary Tasks and certify Legendary Adventurers."

’The Shadow Kingdom is a no-go. The Profession I awakened is Shadow King. The king of the Shadow Kingdom, the Shadow King, is my mortal enemy. If he discovers the Profession I’ve awakened, he’ll stop at nothing to kill me.’
