Chapter 540: Chapter 540: Mika Summers VS Tristan Grayson (40)

When Tristan Grayson learned that Mika Summers had been drugged, he couldn’t focus on anyone or anything else.

So, he immediately called Archie Lockwood to tell him that Rory had been kidnapped.

After hanging up, he contacted Ian Shaw and told him to immediately pull the surveillance footage from their neighborhood to find out where Rory was taken after she left the house.

Tristan Grayson practically flew home in his car. When he arrived, he saw the front door wide open. Mika Summers was leaning against the sofa, Kiki nestled in her arms.

He walked over, and seeing Mika Summers looking so weak and struggling to stay upright, his heart ached fiercely. "I’m taking you to the hospital."

’If I’d known, I would have come straight home the moment I left the Grayson family estate today.’

’Then this never would have happened. It looks like I’ll have to arrange for Sheldon Rhodes to post a few men here as guards. How can I be at ease otherwise?’

Hearing his voice, Mika Summers slowly turned to look at Tristan Grayson. Seeing he was back, she managed to say, "Find Rory," before falling into a deep sleep.

When Tristan Grayson saw her head fall limp and she stopped responding, he was scared out of his wits. "Mika! Mika, are you okay?"

"Mommy..."

No matter how the father and son shouted, Mika Summers remained fast asleep, completely unresponsive.

Tristan Grayson picked up Mika Summers, quickly carried her to the car, then returned to get Kiki and put him in the car as well, before speeding to the hospital.

Ian Shaw also sent them the surveillance footage he had pulled.

"The old man must miss his granddaughter very much," Jason Lockwood said from the other end of the line. He was leaning back leisurely in his office chair, his tone casual, yet the words sent a chill down the spine. "I wonder... whose life is more valuable? The old man’s, or Rory’s?"

"Jason Lockwood, what the hell do you want!"

"Heh. I just heard that you seem to have dug up some... information."

Archie’s voice was low and seething with rage. "What information? I don’t know what you’re talking about. Jason Lockwood, if you don’t bring Rory back to me safely right now, I will show you the true meaning of a fate worse than death!"
