Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me
Chapter 598 - 596: I Did Not Wrong YouChapter 598: Chapter 596: I Did Not Wrong You
Tristan Grayson let go of Aria Joyce’s arm and reached up to touch her face. However, his once-blurry vision was starting to clear. The moment he realized the woman wasn’t Mika Summers, his expression grew cold.
He fought back the rage burning in his chest, turned onto his side on the bed, and clenched his left fist tightly. "Go take a shower first," he ordered coldly.
Aria Joyce looked momentarily stunned, then asked with concern, "What’s wrong? I thought you weren’t feeling well."
Tristan Grayson shut his eyes in fury. "Aria Joyce, before you get into bed with me, shouldn’t you wash yourself clean first?"
At his words, Aria Joyce froze completely.
’He... he knows it’s me?’
"Tristan, I’m sorry. I... I didn’t mean to do it like this..." She truly liked him and wanted to be his.
’If he had the strength,’ Tristan fumed internally, ’he’d slap this woman across the face.’
But right now, he obviously didn’t have the strength. All he could do was get her out of the room.
Seeing Tristan ignore her, she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "Tristan, I’m going to take a shower. Wait for me, I’ll be right out."
"Mm."
After getting Tristan’s reply, Aria Joyce jogged to the bathroom.
Once he heard the bathroom door close, Tristan forced his eyes open and pushed himself into a sitting position.
The sound of running water came from the bathroom. Clearly, the woman inside couldn’t wait to start her shower.
Tristan walked over and locked the bathroom door from the outside, then pulled the key out of the lock. He leaned against the wall to rest for a moment, feeling like he was about to lose his mind.
’That bastard Ian,’ he fumed. ’He still hasn’t found me. I swear I’m going to kill him.’
’He knows my situation is critical, and he still hasn’t found me.’ A task as simple as this, and he still wasn’t back.
Just as he was cursing Ian again and again in his head, his phone rang. He answered it, and Ian’s urgent voice came through the line. "Tristan, where the fuck did you run off to? Mika and I have checked several rooms, but we couldn’t find you."
...
In the middle of her shower, Aria Joyce heard the CLICK of the lock. She immediately stopped, ran to the door, and started banging on it. "Tristan! Tristan! Why did you lock the door?"
"I know where you are! We’re on our way!" Before Tristan could even speak, Ian had heard Aria’s voice on the other end of the line. His face turned grim. He spun around, grabbed Mika’s arm, and took off running down the hall.
Tristan put the phone back in his pocket and steadied himself against the wall as he walked out of the bedroom. He knew Mika would be here any second, so he hadn’t completely lost his senses. Just as he opened the door to the hallway, Mika and Ian came running up, panting for breath.
Mika looked at him, and her eyes instantly turned red. She said nothing, simply walking over to support him.
Tristan wrapped an arm around her, burying his face in her shoulder. "I didn’t betray you."
"Yes. I believe you."
Ian clenched his fists, his eyes red with rage. "Where’s Aria Joyce?" he demanded. ’That woman actually dared to pull a stunt like this. I definitely won’t go easy on her this time.’
"In the bathroom!" Tristan looked up and tossed the key to Ian.
Ian nodded, his voice cold and sharp. "This is the absolute last time." With that, his grip on the key tightened.
