Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me
Chapter 609 - 606: New BossChapter 609: Chapter 606: New Boss
Mika Summers turned her head away in a huff. "We’re not keeping it. Didn’t you say it yourself? That having just Kiki is good enough."
If Tristan Grayson were to believe Mika Summers at this point, there would be something seriously wrong with his intelligence. He shook his head firmly. "No! I don’t think that at all. We have to keep this baby. This is our child, and we are going to have it!"
With that, he happily pulled out his phone. "I’m calling my parents right now. I’ll have them watch you. That way, even if you don’t want the baby, you won’t have a chance to change your mind."
Mika Summers remained silent, but a warmth spread through her heart.

Jasmine Warren had no idea how Aria Joyce had managed to pull it off, but she had smoothly landed her a job at Sovereign Pictures. Not just any job, either—she had been assigned as the new president’s secretary.
At first, she’d been curious. How could someone like her, a surgeon, possibly get a job at a major corporation like this? Even if she got in, she didn’t have the skills for the work. But all her questions were answered that morning when she saw the man arriving for work. Then, everything clicked into place.
This was the same man she had seen at the hotel.
He seemed to be very close with Aria Joyce, and on good terms with Tristan Grayson and Mika Summers as well.
As she was lost in thought, a few colleagues around her suddenly started gossiping excitedly.
"We’re getting a new boss starting today! And the new boss is so handsome! Aahhh!"
"Wow! The new boss is smiling at me! Quick, look! His smile is so handsome and charming!"
"I know, right? I can’t believe our new boss is so young."
As one woman was speaking, she suddenly remembered something and quickly tapped the colleague beside her. "Hey, Jennings, you always have the inside scoop. Do you know how old our new boss is? Is he married? Does he have a girlfriend? Oh, and most importantly, does this mean President Summers won’t be coming in anymore? Is the new boss officially taking over?"
Jennings glanced worriedly toward the office, then lowered her voice to explain. "You guys shouldn’t be gossiping like this. President Summers isn’t leaving for good. The new boss is just filling in for her for a while."
"Huh? So we’re not actually getting a new boss? Why not? I don’t like President Summers!"
"Keep your voices down. If one of President Summers’s people hears you, you’ll be in for it."
"Ms. Warren, what do you think? Why isn’t President Summers coming to work? Did something happen to her?"
Hearing the women’s chatter, Jennings shook her head again and whispered, "Didn’t President Summers just get married? I heard she’s going on a honeymoon with President Grayson."
Unsurprisingly, the moment she finished speaking, several women began to marvel. "President Grayson treats President Summers so well."
"I’ll say. President Grayson is unbelievably good to her. Our President Summers really has a way with men. First, it was Mr. Kent, and now President Grayson."
"Hmph. Yeah. Looks like the new boss is probably one of President Summers’s boy toys, too."
"Don’t be ridiculous. How could the new boss be her lover? Can’t you see? He’s obviously a man of extraordinary means and class. If you ask me, he must be President Summers’s sugar daddy."
The women chattered on, one after another, their discussion lively. Listening to them, Jasmine Warren clenched her fists, the anger in her eyes growing deeper.
Mika Summers had always been her best friend. Hearing these people slander Mika, she was naturally furious. But she wouldn’t actually step up and speak for her. It wasn’t just because of Aria Joyce’s warning, but more so because she never thought Mika would actually turn into this kind of person.
’Mr. Kent?’
’Why didn’t I know there was a Mr. Kent?’
’It seems Mika and Tristan’s relationship isn’t that great after all.’
Per Mika Summers’s arrangements, Ian Shaw’s office was right next to hers. The layout and furnishings were set up exactly as they had been in his office at LK.
Furthermore, it wasn’t just the layout that was replicated; even the LK files he needed to work on were stacked neatly on his desk.
When Ian Shaw walked into the office, he had the strange feeling that he hadn’t changed companies at all.
He quickly snapped out of it, though. Just one look was enough for him to be certain that this was all that guy Tristan Grayson’s doing.
Tristan Grayson really had it all figured out. Making him come here to fill in was one thing, but he’d even had his files from LK sent over.
