Dominator Emperor

Chapter 230: Update Announcement

Yesterday, the monthly ticket count didn’t actually meet the requirement for a sixth update. We were still short by over ten votes last night, but I decided to post the Chapter anyway. This is my way of thanking everyone for your continuous support.

The monthly ticket shortfall from yesterday is now cleared. We’ll start accumulating tickets again from today.

Because I’m moving on the 20th, things have been especially busy these past few days.

I don’t know how many monthly tickets everyone will be able to contribute. The plan is four updates today, five tomorrow, and four the day after. If the monthly ticket count isn’t enough to meet the update goals, please do your best to vote and get us there. If the number of tickets exceeds the goal, then once I have time after the 21st, I will make up for the extra updates.

As for the 20th, that will be my day for a Chapter burst. Because it’s the auspicious day I’m moving into my new home, I will release a burst of eight Chapters. The number 8 sounds like the word for "prosperity," so it’s to celebrate the happy occasion.

I’ve been really busy lately—learning to drive, moving into a new home, and dealing with so many other things. I’m writing until one or two in the morning every day. Sometimes, the updates might not be on time, so please bear with me.

Speaking of moving, I want to take this opportunity to thank my wife. When she married me, I was just a poor kid with no house and no car. We didn’t even have a proper wedding, but she never once complained.

The "new" residence is actually an old house we bought several years ago. We didn’t have the money to renovate it, so it just sat there for years.

We finally started renovating it off and on last year, but I was always busy writing and had no time to handle any of it. So, my wife took care of everything related to the renovation—buying materials, running to and from the construction site—she shouldered it all by herself.

All these years, my wife has helped me organize my manuscripts and manage the household, and yet I’ve never even taken her on a single trip.

For all these years, I’m thankful to my wife who has always supported my writing, thankful to my parents who have always worried about me, and thankful to myself for my own persistence in writing all this time.

Finally, thank you to every single one of my readers for your support! (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, please come to Qidian.com to cast your recommendation votes and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please visit m.qidian.com to read.)
