Faced with Lou Sang’s disdainful gaze, Chu Liangyu wasn’t the least bit sheepish.

On the Flying Boat, Li Jingxuan stood with his hands clasped behind him, gazing at the misty, cloud-shrouded scenery ahead. Behind him, a gaggle of junior disciples chattered away noisily.
’The Sect Leader must have gotten tired of seeing me cooped up in the sect all day,’ he thought. ’Why else would they send a Peak Master at the Divinity Transformation Cultivation level to escort a bunch of Qi Refinement Realm disciples on a trial?’
’Still, since I accept the sect’s patronage, it’s only right that I do some work for them.’
Seeing the panel that had suddenly materialized, Li Jingxuan paused for a moment before speaking. "What is it?"
"We meet again. This time, I want to buy a Vestment robe, a top-quality Spirit Sword, and something that allows blood relatives to sense each other’s location and status," Chu Liangyu rattled off in a single breath, before adding with a flourish, "Spirit Stones are no issue."
Lou Sang, who had been quietly sipping his tea, froze. He snapped his head up to stare at Chu Liangyu, his tone dangerously low. "Weren’t you buying the Vestment robe for me? Then who are the other items for?"
Chu Liangyu cleared her throat, refilled his half-empty teacup, and then explained, "The other two items are just some toys for the kids. Buying you a Vestment robe is the main event."
In the end, Lou Sang’s attitude softened. He waved his hand dismissively. "Forget it. I owe you for all this anyway. Spend it however you see fit."
Chu Liangyu froze for a second. His words stirred up old memories, and her expression flickered with a complex emotion, but she recovered just as quickly.
"As for the Vestment robe, I—"
"A Vestment robe? Peak Master, I have a spare one. If you don’t mind, I can give it to you."
Chu Liangyu had heard this unfamiliar female voice once before. She took a closer look and saw it was that same young girl who was her spitting image.
Instead of refusing, Li Jingxuan asked, "What tier is it?"
The girl scratched her head in embarrassment and took out a white Magic Robe. "I only have a Low Tier Magic Robe. If you don’t mind, Peak Master, it’s yours."
Li Jingxuan didn’t answer right away. Instead, he looked at the two people on the panel. "Want it?"
"As long as it keeps out the cold and provides warmth, we’ll take it."
Li Jingxuan nodded. "Of course. That’s its most basic function."
But in the end, its tier was simply too low. Li Jingxuan only gave a single Top Grade Spiritual Stone in exchange, and that was only because the girl didn’t have any Spirit Stones of a lower denomination.
That was still no small sum, however. One Top Grade Spiritual Stone was equivalent to ten thousand low grade spirit stones.
Handing all the Spirit Stones to the disciple, Li Jingxuan said impassively, "Go back to your cultivation."
The girl was clearly hesitant, wanting to refuse the Spirit Stones, but seeing that Li Jingxuan was not in a talkative mood, she opened her mouth to speak, then thought better of it.

"This robe suits you."
It was a fair assessment from Chu Liangyu, but Lou Sang seemed a bit uncomfortable being praised by her so suddenly.
"The tier is just too low. Next time, I’ll buy you one that’s the same tier as mine."
"I suppose you have a conscience after all."
Chu Liangyu put the items into her Storage Bracelet and stood up. "Alright, I’m going to check on my Beast Husbands. Take your time and enjoy your tea."
Lou Sang, like a child who’d just gotten new clothes, didn’t hear a word she said.
Chu Liangyu shook her head in resignation, opened the door, and walked out—right into Xiong Jiaojiao, who was heading toward her.
The expression on Xiong Jiaojiao’s face was grim. Chu Liangyu’s heart sank, and she hurried over to her. "What’s wrong? Did something happen?"
"There was... a bit of an incident. And this time, you’re really the only one who can solve it." Xiong Jiaojiao blushed as she spoke and seemed too embarrassed to elaborate, leaving Chu Liangyu utterly baffled.
"What could possibly be so hard to talk about?"

Chu Liangyu nodded and let her be, pushing the door open and entering the room.
The moment she stepped inside, however, her mind went blank, stunned by the intensely sensual and provocative scene before her.
Several men were in the room, some sitting, some standing. All of their faces were flushed, their upper bodies were bare, and their eyes were glazed over as they stared at Chu Liangyu.
"Female Master."
Hu Qiumu seemed to be in the best condition of the group. He forced himself up from a stool, but his gaze was clearly unfocused. Though his mind was muddled, he possessed a natural trust in her.
His steps were unsteady, but he walked stubbornly toward her. Alarmed by the sight, Chu Liangyu quickly steadied him. "Why do you look so drunk? Have you felt the atavistic energy and the bloodline?"
"N-no. I just... my body feels awful."
He raised a hand to rub his throbbing temples. Once the pain subsided a bit, he looked at her. "You look exhausted. Did something happen?"
Chu Liangyu had already expended a great deal of stamina in her fight, and after that, she had rushed back to the tribe without a moment’s rest. No matter how powerful she was, she could still feel fatigue.
The moment she returned, a mountain of tasks had been waiting for her to sort out. She hadn’t had a single moment to rest.
Everyone was concerned with how to resolve the present crisis, but no one had asked if she was tired.
Hu Qiumu’s concerned words sent a warmth through her heart. She put on a relaxed smile. "I’m fine. It’s nothing a good night’s sleep won’t fix."
"Then go rest. You don’t need to stay here and watch over us."
Chi Yizhong had come up behind her at some point. He helped her guide Hu Qiumu back to the stool, then grabbed her other hand and started pulling her toward the door.
But Chu Liangyu stood her ground. "Just because you’re fine doesn’t mean they are, Chi Yizhong."
"But you’re exhausted. Do you really have to take care of them?" As Chi Yizhong spoke, his perpetually gloomy eyes held a coldness that was different from his usual self, making Chu Liangyu’s brow furrow.
She knew that Chi Yizhong was a fragment of Jiang Li, and she guessed that he himself was probably unaware of it. But looking at him now, he seemed to be showing signs of assimilation.
Suppressing the pang of pity in her heart, Chu Liangyu pulled her hand free. "Don’t worry about me. Since you’re fine, you should leave."
Chi Yizhong fell silent, merely watching her with a hurt expression. "Is it because I wasn’t with you for that month? Are you angry with me?"
