After hearing Jade’s question, Zayne’s expression became slightly complicated.

"I believe so."

"You believe?"

"I’ve experienced only two worlds so far. The first world was the one that allowed me to acquire the fairy fruits. The power acquired from the first parallel world had allowed me to save you from the zombies and prevent you from becoming one of those zombies."

Reminiscing about the Global Ocean Survival World, Zayne said, "The people there had their own thoughts, emotions, memories, personalities, and lives."

"From everything I could perceive, they were no different from the living beings in our world."

Jade became silent. She didn’t question his answer.

After all, she herself had experienced one of those worlds.

She had lived there for more than a hundred years. She had loved, fought, became stronger, suffered, and eventually died.

To her, that world wasn’t an illusion.

It was a real life.

Jade’s fingers intertwined with Zayne’s.

"Then the other me was also real."

"Yes."

"And she loved you."

Zayne’s expression softened. "Yes."

Jade smiled. "I suppose I should be grateful to her."

Zayne looked at her in confusion.

"For what?"

"For giving me another hundred years with you."

Zayne was stunned for a moment before smiling.

"Are you jealous of yourself?"

"Why would I be?"

Jade’s smile became even wider.

"She was still me, after all."

"Besides, if she hadn’t existed, I wouldn’t have inherited those memories."

She leaned closer to him.

"So I don’t mind."

"Not even a little?"

"Not even a little."

Jade’s expression suddenly became serious.

"However, there is something I want you to promise me."

Zayne’s smile faded slightly.

"What is it?"

"If you encounter another version of me in the future..."

Jade paused for a moment.

"Don’t deliberately treat her as someone completely unrelated to me."

Zayne’s eyes widened slightly.

Jade continued, "She may have grown up differently, experienced different things, or even become a completely different person."

"But if she is still me, then I don’t want you to treat her as nothing more than a stranger."

Zayne stared at Jade for several seconds.

Then, he nodded. "I promise."

"Good."

Jade smiled again and rested her head against his shoulder, hugging his arm.

She had to admit, it was her selfishness that prompted her to make such a request.

After all, with her intelligence, Jade already knew what Zayne’s EX-rank Parallel World Operations were capable of.

She wanted him to spend time with her parallel world self to not only gain more time to spend with him as well as more power, but also to prevent one thing.

With her current power, Jade was already satisfied with it, so she wasn’t that obsessed with becoming stronger. However, there was one thing that she realized, and it was none other than the fact that Zayne could find another lover in the parallel world other than her.

Of course, while she would be jealous, Zayne had already prepared her beforehand for such possibilities. In fact, she had expected him to have other girls in the train survival universe, like Scarlet or Astraea, for example.

Yet, it confused her that Zayne never started a harem and was considerate enough to treat her as his only lover in the train survival universe.

It was only after Zayne revealed his EX-rank innate talent that Jade realized why he did so.

Because of that, she realized why Zayne prepared her for the possibility of starting a harem, yet not starting anything in the train survival universe.

Jade knew that Zayne wasn’t heartless enough to make her share him with another woman in that parallel world, but he also wasn’t heartless enough to reject someone who loved him.

Due to this, Jade decided to make her parallel world selves be with Zayne so that in that life, Zayne would be unlikely to find another lover.

Of course, she also knew that she had to make a compromise for such a request, as it would only be fair that way, so she spoke up:

"As for your innate talent..."

"Hmm?"

"You don’t need to explain anything else."

Zayne raised an eyebrow.

"Really?"

"Yes."

Jade closed her eyes.

"I already understand enough."

"My husband possesses an EX-rank innate talent called Parallel World Operations."

"It allows him to interact with parallel worlds and bring certain things from them into our world."

"The exact details and restrictions are unknown."

"That should be enough."

Zayne couldn’t help but smile.

’As expected of Jade.’

’She really is easy to deceive when she doesn’t intend to investigate.’

Of course, Zayne knew that this wasn’t because Jade was actually easy to deceive.

It was because she trusted him.

She had already experienced the effects of his simulator firsthand, so the explanation he gave her wasn’t completely unreasonable.

More importantly, she had no reason to believe that he would lie to her about something like this.

As long as his explanation could reasonably explain what she had experienced, Jade wouldn’t force him to reveal the details of an innate talent that he had explicitly said was restricted.

’This should be enough.’

’At least for now.’

Zayne looked at Jade, who was quietly leaning against him.

He knew that he had successfully concealed the existence of the Doomsday Life Simulator System.

Zayne had to admit, he was lucky that the novels and fiction present in the main world Terra and the modern worlds in the Train Survival Universe didn’t have anything related to life simulator systems.

In his past life on Earth, there were such novels, which was why he was already familiar with the life simulator system trope and could fully take advantage of his system.

’If there were such novels, with Jade’s intelligence, it would not be impossible for her to put two and two together. I’m also fortunate that even in the train survival universe, Jade and my train crewmates hadn’t encountered system users.’

’Now that I’ve made my excuse for my Doomsday Life Simulator System’s capabilities and labeled them as my innate talent, EX-rank Parallel World Operations, it wouldn’t be troublesome even if Jade and my train crewmates encounter system users or novels with the life simulator system trope.’
