As Jing Kang watched Shopkeeper Liu look toward Ye Wushuang, a smug smile spread across his face. He was eager to see the humiliating spectacle of Ye Wushuang being forced to leave.

Behind him, the rest of the Jing Family entourage watched with jeering smiles.

"Get lost!"

A disdainful snort escaped Jing Kang's lips. With utter contempt and arrogance, he told Ye Wushuang to scram!

"You...!"

Lan Xinyu and the Xiaoo Yue Celestial Roc were furious, and even the Shadow Demon King's expression darkened.

"You're kicking me out?"

Ye Wushuang's eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at Shopkeeper Liu.

"No!" Shopkeeper Liu's wry smile vanished, and he said abruptly, "Young Master is the Ten Thousand Treasures Celestial Workshop's most honored guest. How could the Ten Thousand Treasures Celestial Workshop possibly ask you to leave?"

In an instant, Jing Kang and the people behind him froze, their smiles stiffening on their faces. Shopkeeper Liu's sudden statement had made his stance perfectly clear.

"Shopkeeper Liu, are you sure you haven't made a mistake?" Jing Kang couldn't believe Shopkeeper Liu would make such a choice.

"Since Young Master Jing forced me to choose between you and Young Master Ye, this is the only choice I can make," Shopkeeper Liu replied.

Then, Shopkeeper Liu turned to Ye Wushuang and said respectfully, "Therefore, Young Master, please, come in!"

Come in!

Ye Wushuang glanced at Shopkeeper Liu, strode forward, and stopped beside Jing Kang.

Jing Kang stared at him coldly, his eyes flashing with killing intent.

Ye Wushuang stared back and said coldly, "Perhaps you were right about one thing before. A dragon and a snake cannot share the same den. Trash that can't even take a single slap from me is truly unworthy of being in the same place. Since I'm entering the Celestial Workshop, the one who needs to get lost… is you!"

Ye Wushuang threw the words "get lost" right back at him. The biting sarcasm made Jing Kang's face turn livid. He had told Ye Wushuang to get lost, but now he was the one being told to do so himself!

CRUNCH!

Jing Kang's fists clenched tightly. As he watched Ye Wushuang enter the Celestial Workshop, a venomous light erupted in his eyes.

"Young Master Jing, should we go in?" After a moment of silence, one of the people behind Jing Kang asked. There were many good things at the auction, and it would be a great shame to miss it.

'Go in or not?' Jing Kang's expression was grim. He had sworn before that if Ye Wushuang went in, he would not.

Going in now would only make him more of a laughingstock.

But this auction was different from previous ones. If he didn't go, he would miss out on too much!

"In!" After a moment's hesitation, Jing Kang spat out the single word. Instantly, he felt as if he had been slapped by an invisible hand, his face burning with a fiery sting.

"Damn peasant, I'll settle this score with you sooner or later!" Jing Kang snarled, a hateful glare shooting from his eyes as he strode into the Celestial Workshop.

"Young Master, the auction is being held in the auction hall. Please follow me." Shopkeeper Liu led Ye Wushuang to an auction hall behind the Ten Thousand Treasures Celestial Workshop.

The auction hall was massive, and quite a few people had already arrived.

Shopkeeper Liu led Ye Wushuang directly to a luxurious private room on the second floor. The view from here was excellent, overlooking the rows of seats below that surrounded a high platform.

The seats below were already packed.

"Young Master, this is the VIP area. This is also the best position, offering a commanding view of everything below," said Shopkeeper Liu.

"Thank you for your trouble, Shopkeeper Liu," Ye Wushuang said, though he felt a bit puzzled. 'Why is this Ten Thousand Treasures Celestial Workshop being so polite to me? First, they gave me a Ten Thousand Treasures Order, and just now they offended the Jing Family for my sake without a second thought!'

Ye Wushuang couldn't guess what their intentions were!

However, remembering the purpose of his visit, Ye Wushuang said, "Shopkeeper Liu, I have an item. I was wondering if your esteemed workshop could help me auction it?"

Shopkeeper Liu nodded and asked, "May I ask what Young Master would like to auction?"

"This." Ye Wushuang handed over a Jade Box and said, "Shopkeeper Liu, I have one condition for when this item is auctioned."

"Please, go ahead, Young Master." Shopkeeper Liu accepted the Jade Box.

Ye Wushuang said, "This item can only be traded, specifically for Heaven and Earth Spiritual Veins. I don't need Spirit Stones."

"Heaven and Earth Spiritual Veins!" Shopkeeper Liu was suddenly startled. He stared at the Jade Box in his hand. He knew how precious Heaven and Earth Spiritual Veins were, and yet Ye Wushuang had specifically demanded them in trade!

After a moment of hesitation, Shopkeeper Liu opened the Jade Box. A segment of golden bone lay within, shimmering with Holy Light. The sacred aura it emitted startled Shopkeeper Liu.

"This is... a Holy Bone!" Shopkeeper Liu looked at Ye Wushuang in astonishment, seeking confirmation. They had auctioned a Holy Bone before, but that one had been bronze-colored.

Ye Wushuang nodded.

"It really is!" Having received Ye Wushuang's confirmation, Shopkeeper Liu held the box even more carefully. He muttered a few excited words and hurried off, seemingly to verify it.

Ye Wushuang didn't stop him. Instead, he surveyed his surroundings. The private box was as luxurious as a personal suite, complete with fine wine and Spirit Fruits.

Furthermore, the box was soundproof. Sound could only be transmitted or received through a speaking tube; when it was open, you could transmit and receive, but not when it was closed.

There were many other boxes like this on the second floor.

Ye Wushuang found a seat and sat down. The Shadow Demon King and the Xiaoo Yue Celestial Roc also sat to one side, while Lan Xinyu quietly poured wine for Ye Wushuang.

Before long, the auction began.

The crowd below erupted in excitement, all eyes fixed on the central high platform as an old man in a fur robe walked onto it.

"Welcome, everyone, to the Ten Thousand Treasures Celestial Workshop's annual auction! This old man is Cheng Xuan, and I will be your host for this auction!"

"The items in this auction are all treasures the Celestial Workshop has collected over the past year. I trust they will not disappoint..."

The host, Cheng Xuan, spoke in a clear voice, explaining the rules of the auction and so on.

In the private box, Ye Wushuang listened attentively!

"Shopkeeper Cheng, let's get the auction started! We can't wait any longer."

Some people in the crowd below couldn't help but shout out.

"Very well, let the auction begin!" Seeing the soaring atmosphere, Cheng Xuan gave a faint smile and signaled with his eyes. Four tall, slender women in qipaos walked onto the stage, their fair, smooth thighs causing some of the men with weaker constitutions to get nosebleeds.

The four women walked onto the auction stage together, each holding a golden Pann in their hands.

There was something on the golden Pann, but it was obscured by a red cloth, making it impossible to see clearly.

"Since everyone is so impatient, this old man will get straight to the point." Cheng Xuan walked to one of the women and unveiled the red cloth on the golden Pann. A fiery red bead came into view, from which terrifying flames leaped out, only to be blocked by a barrier of light.

"This is a Middle-Grade Spirit-Connected Treasure, the Fiery Fire Spirit Bead. Not only does it possess astonishing power, but more importantly, it contains a rare Heaven and Earth Spirit Fire, which is of immense help to Flame Cultivators. Its value is no less than that of a Top-Grade Treasure Artifact!"

"We will now begin the bidding. The starting price is 500,000 Low-Grade Spirit Stones, and each bid must increase the price by at least 10,000!"

Cheng Xuan announced in a booming voice.

"I bid 550,000!"

"580,000!"

"600,000!"

...

As Cheng Xuan's voice fell, no one on the second floor spoke; it was completely silent. The floor below, however, erupted, especially the Fire Cultivators, who pushed the price to one million.

The bidding finally ended at a price of 1,100,000.

Next, Cheng Xuan walked to the second woman and unveiled the second red cloth. A rock came into the crowd's view.

Seeing this, the intently watching crowd was puzzled. This rock looked very ordinary, a completely worthless piece of stone. There was nothing strange about it, so why was it at the auction?
