"You still want to provoke the Saint Emperor Clan? Why don’t you go try it?"
Feng Wuchen’s strong and domineering presence, along with his terrifying power, had deeply shocked Zhuchenxin.
Zhuchenxin dared not speak a word.
"Why are you not speaking? Are you deaf?" Feng Wuchen asked coldly, slapping him directly.
Zhuchenxin suppressed his fear and anger with great difficulty, reluctantly saying, "No... I dare not."
As the Second Elder of the Demon Clan, he had to bow his head to Feng Wuchen in front of so many clansmen, losing face entirely.
Zhuchenxin felt as if all dignity and honor were crushed to pieces under Feng Wuchen’s foot.
The feeling was worse than death for him.
Zhuchenxin regretted it so much that his intestines turned green.
"Such a pathetic demon barrier, do you think it can trap me? Wake up!" Feng Wuchen said disdainfully, gently patting Zhuchenxin’s old face with his right hand.
Zhuchenxin dared not make a move, his anger vanished entirely.
"Hmph!"
"Crack!"
With a cold hum from Feng Wuchen, the terrifying demon barrier shattered and collapsed instantly.
"This is the demon barrier?" Feng Wuchen’s face was full of disdain.
A slight hum could yield such terrifying power; one could only imagine the consequences if used on Zhuchenxin.
"The Demon Clan is nothing special. I don’t kill you because you’re not worthy to die by my hand. I’m leaving you with this: if anything happens to the Saint Emperor Clan, the Saint Dao Pavilion, the Undying Temple, or the Xuan Ding Holy Sect, I will hold you accountable," Feng Wuchen said coldly, then flew away.
Zhuchenxin and the powerful members of the Demon Clan deflated like punctured balloons, their taut nerves finally relaxing as they realized their backs were already drenched with cold sweat.
Too terrifying.
Never had they seen such a terrifying young man!
"Second... Second Elder, is he really Feng Wuchen who ascended from the Seven Divine Realms?" Zhu Muran asked in terror after an unknown amount of time.
"So terrifying, how could Feng Wuchen possess such terrifying power?" Zhumu Yan said fearfully, still feeling weak all over.
"Ascended?" Zhuchenxin was momentarily stunned in horror.
Indeed, Feng Wuchen had just ascended from the Seven Divine Realms to the Holy Realm less than half a year ago. It was absolutely impossible for him to possess such terrifying power.
"This is not his power! Definitely not the power of Long Shi Hun or the others either," Zhuchenxin thought with certainty.
"Feng Wuchen! Today’s humiliation, this elder will remember, just you wait!" Zhuchenxin vowed bitterly in his heart, determined not to let it go.
Unfortunately, what Zhuchenxin didn’t know was that they would never have another chance.
...
"Feng Wuchen, this seat’s power is almost exhausted; it’s time to leave." As he left the Ghost Soul Mountain Range, the Great Emperor Shui Yan’s sorrowful voice came.
"Senior Shui Yan, are you leaving?" Feng Wuchen asked, feeling a bit reluctant himself.
"Feng Wuchen, in our brief time together, this seat can see you are very special. Meeting you has made me happy. You are our hope, train well, for I believe you can achieve it. This seat is leaving," the Great Emperor Shui Yan said with a smile in a transmission.
As he spoke, the silhouette of the Great Emperor Shui Yan in the Divine Ring dissipated into countless points of light.
"Senior Shui Yan, I will not disappoint you; though I don’t know what happened, I must not fail your legacy and trust," Feng Wuchen thought to himself, feeling a bit sad.
Feng Wuchen did not enter the Divine Ring to see the Great Emperor Shui Yan for a final farewell.
This was not because Feng Wuchen was without affection, but because he did not want the Great Emperor Shui Yan to see him in a somber mood.
With the Great Emperor Shui Yan gone, the fourth layer was motionless, and Feng Wuchen felt empty.
"Master, don’t be too sad. They exist as energy forms. Each of them saying you are their hope means they are still alive, or you might be able to save them," the Dragon God Sword transmitted.
"Master, quickly enhance your cultivation. Perhaps when your strength reaches a certain level, the unsealed powerhouses will reveal the answers to you," God Eye transmitted.
"I know what you both are saying, it’s just, emotions are like this," Feng Wuchen said, smiling bitterly.
"I actually have many questions in my mind. The Dragon God Clan is one of the earliest Ancient Times clans. The ancestor of Long Shi Hun couldn’t have just popped out of a rock, right? What about his parents? And his peers?"
"The appearance of the powerhouses from the Samsara Tower, along with the controllers, indicates there are existences even earlier than the Ancient Times."
"The powerhouses of the Samsara Tower are the first beings from the dawn of time and space. Their peers and descendants couldn’t have disappeared without a trace. Logically, the ancestor of Long Shi Hun should know about the times even before the Dragon God Clan, and there were many stronger than the ancestor of Long Shi Hun, yet it seems everything broke off before the Dragon God Clan was conceived."
"In other words, the time before the Dragon God Clan until the first being of the dawn of time and space has disappeared."
"What world is above the Holy Realm? Even the Dragon Ancestor seems unaware."
"The so-called division of realms started after the Ancient Wars a hundred thousand years ago, comprising merely the Human Realm, Heavenly Realm, Divine Realm, Temporal-Spatial Divine Realm, Holy Realm, and the controller’s world, which is evidently more terrifying."
Feng Wuchen was very puzzled, always unable to figure where the people from those vanished times went.
From the previous conversations between the Great Emperor Shui Yan and the controller, it could be inferred that the controller was definitely not from the same time as the Great Emperor Shui Yan, as the controller’s strength was far inferior.
"What if before the division of realms, it was already divided?" Feng Wuchen speculated.
"Master, do you mean that even before the realms were divided into Human, Heavenly, Divine, Temporal-Spatial, and Holy, they were already divided?" God Eye asked, transmitting the question.
"Already divided before the division?" the Dragon God Sword asked in extreme confusion, feeling it was hard to wrap its head around.
"The other divided world should correspond to that vanished period," Bloodthirsty Fanyi transmitted.
"It’s just my guess. The controller and the powerhouses of the Samsara Tower are the best evidence. There must be stronger worlds above the Holy Realm, even above the controller’s world, reaching back to the world’s first Ancient Times," Feng Wuchen nodded.
After learning that the powerhouses of the Samsara Tower were the first batch of powerhouses at the dawn of time, Feng Wuchen had already been intrigued.
Unconsciously, Feng Wuchen arrived at the Sacred Mountain where the Saint Emperor Clan was located.
"Forget it, there’s no way to understand it now. I might as well go back and ask the Dragon Ancestor; the powerhouses who divided the realms must know something," Feng Wuchen shook his head, choosing not to dwell on these matters.
Feng Wuchen descended to the front of the Saint Emperor Clan’s palace mountain gate.
The Saint Emperor Clan had already recruited many disciples, greatly strengthening their power.
"Who are you?" the disciple guarding the mountain gate asked.
"Feng Wuchen," Feng Wuchen replied indifferently.
"Could he be the one the Young Master Li mentioned?" another disciple guessed in a low voice.
"It must be. Quickly go and report to Young Master Li," the other disciple said quietly.
