Dungeon Corpse Stacker: I Absorb Everything to Become Ominous Monarch
Chapter 75: THE RESTRUCTURING OF SECTOR 1The heavy subterranean silence that followed the termination of the global broadcast was broken only by the low, rhythmic hum of the capital’s central mana generators.
Two hundred meters beneath the surface of Sector 1, inside the grand circular dome of the ruined Apex Chamber, Renan stood atop the central podium. The lingering smoke from the executed President’s transformation had completely cleared, leaving the vast hall illuminated by the steady golden light radiating from his Monarch runes.
Beside him, Shadow Commander James tapped his spectral scepter against the polished obsidian floor, materializing a massive, multi-layered holographic blueprint of the entire Capital Sector.
[Ominous Sovereign Territory: Capital Administrative Audit]
Primary Core Domain: Sector 1 (Capital Metropolis & Subterranean Apex Vault)
Sub-Domains Secured: Sector 2 (Blackwood Ridge), Sector 3 (Underworld Hub), Sector 4 (Titan Corridor)
Active Shadow Garrison (Capital Perimeter): 24,100 Units
Sovereign Physical Stat Total: 57,000 Permanent Points
Current Territorial Threat Index: Zero Internal / High External (World Federation Escalation)
"My Monarch," Shadow Commander James reported, his voice crisp and layered with administrative precision. "The immediate shockwave of our global broadcast has paralyzed the central government infrastructure. Over ninety percent of local administrative personnel, Association clerks, and low-tier border guards in Sector 1 have abandoned their posts and retreated into civilian housing quarters."
"Let the corrupt bureaucrats flee," Renan replied coldly, his long black coat fluttering softly as he stepped down from the podium. "We do not need politicians to manage a fortress. How stand the primary mana-crystal refineries and subterranean vaults beneath the city?"
Shadow Commander Drake—the former S-Rank Arcane Enforcer of the Three Pillars, now clad in dark phantom-platinum plate armor—stepped forward, bowing his head deeply.
"My Monarch," Drake reported, his spectral hands waving over the holographic display. "The central mana-refinery beneath the Association Tower is operating at eighty percent capacity. The three primary Class-SS Mana Vaults containing thirty thousand high-density crystal cores are completely intact. Shadow Commander Carlos and two thousand heavy Shadow Knights have already secured the vault perimeters."
Renan looked over the holographic map of Sector 1. Glowing purple lines—representing his active Monarch domain—stretched across every major highway, power grid, military airfield, and communication relay station in the capital.
"We must turn Sector 1 from a battlefield into an absolute military capital," Renan analyzed smoothly, his sharp mind piecing together the next phase of his campaign. "When the World Federation recovers from their initial panic, they will not launch a direct frontal assault with Hunters. They will attempt a multi-national economic blockade and deploy long-range orbital spell-artillery from international waters."
Renan turned his golden eyes toward Shadow Commander Vane—the former SS-Rank Elementalist of the Three Pillars—and Shadow Commander Marcus.
"Vane," Renan commanded. "Take five hundred shadow mages and construct a permanent Class-EX Primordial Barrier Matrix over the entire thirty-mile radius of Sector 1. I want our airspace completely sealed against foreign satellite recon, high-altitude drones, and long-range spell projectiles."
"By your absolute command, My Monarch," Vane bowed smoothly, his rune-embroidered spectral robes swirling as he vanished into the shadows.
"Marcus," Renan continued, looking at the towering shadow tank. "Take three thousand heavy Shadow Knights and reinforce the outer perimeter wall surrounding Sector 1. Build four heavy defense outposts along the primary highway corridors leading to Sectors 2, 3, and 4."
"It shall be done before nightfall, Master!" Marcus roared, slamming his dark spectral tower shield onto the floor with earth-shattering force before melting into the shadow pool.
Renan turned back to Shadow Commander James, who held a glowing red data scroll pulled directly from the Association’s most classified subterranean archives.
"What did you extract from James’s private vault, Commander?" Renan asked softly.
James’s golden visor flashed with a sharp, dangerous light as he unrolled the data scroll into a high-definition holographic map of the global ocean trenches.
"Master," James explained, zooming in on an isolated, unmapped island located eight hundred miles off the coast in international waters. "Before his execution, President James was secretly coordinating with the World Federation’s Apex Council. They have been constructing a hidden, artificial Class-EX Dungeon Facility known as Project Tartarus."
Renan’s golden eyes narrowed slightly. "Project Tartarus?"
"Yes, My Monarch," James replied, pointing to the glowing red node on the ocean map. "It is an illegal, subterranean research facility built inside an active Class-EX gate trench. They are using captured S-Rank gate bosses and high-density mana cores to mass-produce Artificial Relic Soldiers—a synthetic army designed specifically to counter high-tier Hunters and Monarch-class entities."
Renan let out a low, cold laugh that sent a chilling wave of kinetic force across the subterranean chamber.
"An artificial army built in an ocean trench," Renan whispered, his gloves clenching into tight fists as dark violet Monarch aura surged around his body. "They believe they can hide behind international waters while building weapons to reclaim this continent."
Shadow General Ignis stepped forward from the shadow threshold, his dragon-fire broadsword ignited in low, hungry black flames. "Shall we deploy the Shadow Dragon Leviathan and incinerate their ocean trench, Master?"
"Not yet, Ignis," Renan said, raising his hand calmly. "Let them finish building their synthetic toys. We will consolidate our grip on Sectors 1 through 4, absorb the remaining private dungeons, and allow our Shadow Legion to grow to thirty thousand units."
Renan walked out of the Apex Chamber, ascending the dark stone stairwell toward the surface level of Sector 1. Standing behind him in a disciplined, terrifying vanguard were Shadow Commander James, Drake, Marcus, Vane, Sylas, and Rebecca.
As Renan stepped out onto the surface plaza of the capital, the late afternoon sun was setting over the ruined skyline of Sector 1. High above in the amber sky, the five-hundred-meter Shadow Dragon Leviathan circled silently, its massive wings casting a protective shadow over twenty-four thousand shadow soldiers lined up across the city streets.
Renan looked out over his newly established territory, his golden eyes burning with unyielding, absolute ambition.
"The Association is dead," Renan declared into the mountain wind, his voice echoing across the silent capital. "The nation has fallen. Now... the Sovereign’s Empire begins."
