Chapter 79: Chapter 74: Where is Lin Xiaojun!?

"Let’s push these zombies aside first, or they’ll be in the way..."

The five of them, clad in full armor and helmets, temporarily cleared the zombies from the entrance of Building One to the side.

Yu Dong retrieved his 40 crossbow arrows from outside. One of them had hit a concrete wall, bending the arrowhead and damaging it.

Yu Dong took 20 of them and put them in his quiver, leaving the rest by the entrance.

"Lock the gate."

Shen Xinyi relocked the main gate of Building One to prevent anyone from sneaking in while the five main fighters were out.

The people in Building Two hadn’t shown themselves, but Yu Dong couldn’t rule out the possibility that they might try to attack his group.

The dark forest theory of the apocalypse meant he had to treat the other group as a threat to his own group’s survival until he could control them.

He glanced at Building Two and saw no movement, then spoke into the mic on his chest:

"Let’s head to the property management office."

The robot dog accompanying the group activated its four-legged wheels, sprinting nimbly toward the property management office.

The main door to the property management office was wide open, and it quickly scrambled inside.

A moment later, Liu Ye’ye’s voice came through their earpieces.

"The lobby and the two offices in the property management building are clear of zombies. The surveillance room door is closed."

"Okay, got it. Let’s go. To the surveillance room first..."

There were people he knew in there.

The five-person team moved cautiously, maintaining their formation. Just as they were about to reach the property management office... two zombies at the main community gate spotted them.

The zombies’ advantages in strength and speed were perfectly countered by sharp blades and defensive fortifications.

But after stabbing about twenty zombies... the looks on their faces changed.

Bodies in various states were piling up at the gate. The zombies behind them started climbing over the corpses of those in front, getting higher and higher.

Then, a female zombie used the pile of bodies as a foothold, leaped up... grabbed the stone bricks at the top of the community gate, and lunged inside!

ROAR!!!

The agile female zombie leaped down from above!

"Watch out!"

Yu Dong shouted.

And Huang Zhiqiang, who had been observing the whole time, charged forward with his explosive-proof shield raised.

Once everyone was ready, Huang Zhiqiang kicked the surveillance room door wide open!

Big-Stomach Sister Zhang lunged out from inside.

"I’ll block it!"

Huang Zhiqiang slammed into it, but a second later... he and his shield were both sent flying back by the big-stomach zombie.

"Fuck! I can’t hold it, guys!"

From both sides, two spears plunged into Sister Zhang’s head, but the fat-headed, big-eared Sister Zhang was still struggling!
