As long as Francine Howards truly delivers on her word!
Alessia Quinn was escorted away, sent to the police station, while Christopher Quinn glanced uneasily at his brother before ultimately deciding to get in the car and go with them to the station—after all, she was still his daughter.
Edward Quinn remained standing in place, his brows furrowed, pondering Alessia’s earlier words. Suddenly, his body shook, and he hastily called the kindergarten, relieved to learn his granddaughter was safe there. He then arranged for a thorough check of the mansion to ensure there were no dangerous unidentified objects. Simultaneously, he sent the servant who regularly picked up Harper Kinston to fetch her from kindergarten and escort her to the Quinn family’s villa. The mansion needed a thorough inspection before he could be at ease.
Additionally, he dispatched a bodyguard to accompany the servant in picking up his granddaughter, while he stayed behind at the mansion to oversee the safety checks.
Of course, from the outside, one couldn’t tell what the Quinn family was up to. Over thirty minutes after Alessia Quinn entered the Quinn estate, a car drove out, heading towards Harper Kinston’s kindergarten.
At this moment, Francine Howards was hiding in a dark corner not far away from the kindergarten entrance, focusing intently on the movements in front of the kindergarten with binoculars. Seeing a black car pull into the kindergarten parking space, a subtle smile emerged at the corner of her lips.
She was very familiar with this car and its license plate—it was a Quinn family vehicle, which she had been observing for several days. She had planted a bug on Alessia Quinn’s clothing, something Alessia herself was unaware of, thus hearing through the bug that Alessia had already failed.
Though Alessia’s failure was within her expectations. If Alessia succeeded, it would be ideal. However, her true target wasn’t Mabel Quinn and Kyle Kinston but their daughter.
If she merely let them die, it would be too lenient; in death, they wouldn’t feel any pain.
She wanted them to feel their agony acutely, alive!
Francine’s face twisted as she watched a man and a woman step out of the car, likely the Quinn family’s servant and bodyguard. Seeing them enter the kindergarten, she surreptitiously crouched down and carefully sneaked around to the back of the car, clandestinely placing a prepared remote-controlled bomb under it.
Once they were by the car, she would press the remote control, and in less than ten seconds, the bomb would explode, turning everyone in the car into pieces.
She had calculated that, once Alessia’s schemes were exposed, Edward Quinn would inevitably act to secure Harper Kinston. During this period, there wouldn’t be many people at the kindergarten entrance, making it unlikely that her covert bomb placement would attract any attention.
And she had already tampered with the surveillance cameras in the area, ensuring that once the explosion occurred, she would not be implicated.
As for any accusations from Alessia Quinn... by the time the police seek her out, she’d already be abroad. She had used a false identity to purchase a ticket for an international flight, ready to head to the airport once the job was done.
When Kyle Kinston and Mabel Quinn return to J City, waiting for them will only be their daughter’s corpse.
