"She’s just exhausted, Your Majesty," the physician said as soon as Alex entered the room with his lovers. "She must’ve pushed herself to the limit. I will prescribe some medicine so she’ll regain her strength as soon as possible."

Alex nodded. "Thank you for looking after her. Elaris, make sure to prepare the medicine for Nessia."

"Understood, Your Majesty." Elaris nodded.

Evangeline then moved closer to the sleeping girl and held her hand. Using her powers, she tried to diagnose Nessia’s current state.

Just as the physician had just said, Nessia had pushed herself to the limit. That was why she had become bedridden with a fever.

"Your Majesty, I hope you won’t sneak inside Nessia’s room tonight." Elaris warned him. "You won’t take advantage of a sick person, right?"

The corner of Alex’s lips twitched in response. "I already told you Nessia is just a friend. She already has a lover."

"Did that ever stop you in the past?" Elaris arched an eyebrow back at him. "Your Majesty, need I remind you how many hearts you have broken during the campaign against the Demon Lord? How many ladies did you comfort when their lovers were injured or dying?"

"... What?" Alex was horrified after hearing Elaris’ words. "Stop speaking nonsense, Elaris. That’s not funny."

"I’m afraid the Head Maid is right, Your Majesty," the physician commented. "Are you perhaps suffering from short-term memory loss due to trauma from the war?"

"Excuse me?" Alex arched an eyebrow.

"F-Forgive me, Your Majesty." The doctor bowed repeatedly. "Though, I do humbly ask you to spare this girl tonight. She is in pretty bad shape."

Evangeline and Latifa both gave Alex the "Wow. I never thought Aetherion was this scummy" gaze.

Alex shuddered after seeing the judgmental gazes thrown his way. However, just as he was about to explain, he suddenly saw a notification pop up in front of him.

’Oh sh*t...’ Alex was able to curse internally once before he lost control of his body.

A moment later, he flashed a smile at Evangeline and Latifa, whose eyes had glazed over as well.

It was obvious that both of them had entered the Synchronization Rate as well, making them lose control over their bodies.

"Please treat this lady well, Elaris," Alex said before holding Evangeline and Latifa’s hands. "I’ll be entertaining our guests for the time being."

"T-This..." Evangeline suddenly became bashful, while Latifa’s face reddened.

The two strong-willed ladies, whom Alex didn’t dare offend, suddenly turned into mush as soon as King Aetherion placed his hands on their waists, supporting their bodies.

Elaris only sighed in her heart before shaking her head helplessly.

’I knew it,’ Elaris thought to herself. ’The King is up to his mischief once again."

Alex took Evangeline and Latifa to his room, and the two didn’t even try to resist, allowing the handsome king to take them wherever he wanted.

Yet, the moment they entered the room, Astrea, Aeris, and Lapiz were already there, waiting for his arrival.

For a brief moment, King Aetherion froze. And then, a charming smile appeared on his face. Again.

"Don’t worry," Alex said with a smile. "I can take care of all of you without fail."

Aeris smiled, but her gaze was sharp like ice.

"Scum." Aeris glared at Alex before shifting her gaze toward Evangeline and Latifa, who had now become putty in his hands.

"Scum?" Alex smirked in return. "That wasn’t the word you were telling me last night, love. Have you already forgotten?"

Suddenly, everyone heard a light cough, making them look at Astrea.

"Your Majesty, you have a lot of nerve, bringing more women into your bedroom." Astrea was doing her best to keep the smile on her face from breaking. "Have you forgotten I am your Queen?"

"Of course I haven’t forgotten, my dearest, Elyndra," Alex replied. "You are my Queen, as well as the first in my heart. But my heart and bed is big enough to handle the five of you. Don’t worry, none of you shall be sleeping tonight."

Astrea now had the strong urge to slap Alex left and right for being annoying. However, the moment she stood up, her body trembled as the Synchronization Rate took over her senses.

It wasn’t only her, though. At that moment, Aeris and Lapiz had also fallen into a trance.

A moment later, rustling sounds were heard in the room as their clothes fell on the carpeted floor.

The five ladies then pushed Alex on the bed, fawning over him. Astrea even took out handcuffs and tied Alex’s hands onto the bed, making sure he wouldn’t be able to escape.

Though, it was also then that he regained his senses.

"Huh?!" Alex gasped in shock.

In front of him were five beautiful ladies, all butt-naked!

"What did you say earlier?" Astrea said as she sat on Alex’s waist. "We won’t be sleeping tonight?"

Alex was momentarily captivated by her alluring body, which made his body heat up.

He then forcefully glanced at the window, only to see that the sun was still out.

"I-It’s still too early in the day," Alex stuttered. "Can’t we wait until nighttime before we do it?"

He was trying to buy time, so that the ladies could snap out of their Synchronization Rate first.

Yet, his words were drowned out when his lips were blocked by Astrea’s kiss, preventing him from saying anything.

"G-Girls, any time now," Alex said in a helpless voice. "Please snap out of it. Especially you, Astrea. We can’t do this."

"We can’t do what?" Astrea asked as she playfully held his shaft and gave it a few strokes, making it stand in attention.

"Don’t do something that you will regret later," Alex pleaded. "I don’t want to hear you make any excuses when you regain your senses."

"Oh... so you like this victim play, huh?" Astrea giggled in response. "Very well, then. Let’s play this game. A change of pace isn’t bad every now and then. I like variations too."

Alex was about to say more, but his lips were stolen once more. Though, this time, it was Lapiz who kissed him.

After Lapiz, it was Aeris, then Evangeline, then Latifa.

Their hands and lips wandered over his body, making Alex feel both happy and scared at the same time.

They said that the road to hell was paved with good intentions.

And Alex believed that by nighttime, he might find himself walking to hell once the ladies regained their senses and realized what they had done.
