The Queen of the Rainbow Centaurs reacted as if she’d been struck by lightning!

She reared up abruptly!

Her two front hooves flew high, pawing at the air with a sound like muffled thunder. If this space weren’t impossible to tear, Shi Ming suspected the force alone would have ripped a hole in reality.

Her seven-colored mane, untouched by the [Colorless] effect, whipped about wildly as she thrashed in agony. Her muscular body, tendons bulging, contorted as if in unbearable torment. Within her long-atrophied eyes, a storm called pain raged for the very first time.

Seizing the opportunity, Shi Ming leaped onto the back of the horned Rainbow Centaur.

Blood welled from the web of his thumbs, flung into the wind by the violent bucking. It splattered across Shi Ming’s face, only making him more exhilarated. The beast’s struggle awakened the ferocity in his very bones, and his legs seemed to be rooted to her back!

’It’s been a long, long time since I’ve encountered a beast like this.’

’As a Hunter, sometimes conquest is more thrilling than the kill!’

Nirvana versus Nirvana.

The Rainbow Centaur’s [Colorless] was still in effect,

but Shi Ming had already retracted [Borer].

He feared that one more "bite" from [Borer] would be too much for the beast to handle, causing it to collapse and die. He’d rather settle this with a primitive, physical struggle—a true battle of wills.

A brilliant light shone in Shi Ming’s eyes—the gleam of a Hunter who has found his prey.

Colorless dust filled the air; the other Rainbow Centaurs had long since scattered. After countless shrieks and bucks, the ferocious beast beneath Shi Ming finally seemed to tire. Her struggles lessened. Her seven-colored horn no longer seemed so proud. Patches of her mane had been torn out by Shi Ming’s grip. And for the first time, her sightless eyes reflected the image of her conqueror...

Shi Ming pressed his advantage.

"Submit to me."

"And you will see the true world."

As the centaur’s will began to slacken, Shi Ming’s Spiritual Power seeped into her sea of consciousness, conveying his intent. The beast had no sapience and couldn’t understand the meaning of his words, but the stream of consciousness carried an emotional undercurrent that she, a primal beast, could successfully receive.

Finally,

the imperious queen, the proud, seven-colored queen, the lithe and powerful queen, lowered her head for the first time.

Just like the kinsmen she had once conquered, she now instinctively feared and submitted to the man on her back. Her wild, untamable aura subsided. She began to gallop smoothly across the rainbow continent, carrying the triumphant Shi Ming.

Her speed was incredible, like a lightless rainbow streaking across the land.

CLOP, CLOP, CLOP.

Shi Ming patted her back.

The centaur slowed her pace.

"From now on, I’ll call you Cai Zong."

Man and beast arrived beneath the glowing stone pillar.

Though the Centaur Queen was tamed, her low intelligence made deep communication impossible. She couldn’t provide Shi Ming with any information regarding the stone pillar, nor could she help him find the treasures and opportunities hidden within this stellar grotto.

But it didn’t matter.

At this moment, the entire continent had effectively been conquered by Shi Ming.

He had all the time in the world to explore the land now prostrate at his feet. All its treasures, discovered and undiscovered, belonged to their new king.
