Beside me, Yoona stepped up to the glass, her dark eyes shining with pride as she watched her twin dominate the crowd.
"Look at her..." Yoona murmured, a soft smile resting on her lips. "She’s shining brighter than anyone else in the world right now."
"She really is," I agreed softly, keeping my eyes glued to the stage. "The biggest star for a reason."
"Hey!" Yoona suddenly smirked, her Succubus authority subtly flaring with playful, infectious energy as she grabbed my hand. "We aren’t just going to stand here looking like stuffy high-society judges, are we?! This is a concert! We need to party."
Before I could even answer, Yoona tapped the skybox control panel near the glass, switching the interior audio to Live Stage Mirror mode. Instantly, the crisp, booming sound of Yerin’s vocals and the energetic beat filled our private lounge, while the ambient ceiling lights began flashing in sync with the stage array.
"Wait, Yoona—!" I laughed.
Yoona grabbed both of my hands, pulling me into the center of the plush carpet and launching into an energetic, rhythmic dance, her lush hips swaying with effortless grace.
Now I understood why she chose summer dress for today instead of a gown.
"Come on, Seth! Don’t tell me the mighty holder of Origin can’t keep up with a little beat!" Yoona teased, winking at me as she spun around, her long crimson hair trailing through the air.
"Oh, it’s on," I grinned, tossing my self-restraint out the window as I matched her rhythm, pulling her in close and spinning her back out as we burst into genuine laughter.
Over near the sofa, little Dylan had jumped off Mom’s lap entirely, executing an utterly chaotic kid-dance in the middle of the floor, waving a glowing lightstick he had scavenged from the snack table. Mom was clapping her hands in rhythm, cheering both Dylan and us on with a radiant, maternal smile, while Dad leaned back on his sofa with his drink, a relaxed, amused smirk resting on his face.
Even the grumpy old man Alistair was in a good mood and smiling at us.
Then, my eyes drifted over to the corner of the room.
Standing rigidly beside the entrance doors was Val. She was still maintaining her stiff, flawless bodyguard posture, her sharp dark eyes darting between the skybox perimeter and the stage as she tried to ignore the party breaking out in the center of the lounge.
A sharp, mischievous glint lit up my eyes. This woman needed to let loose a bit.
[Mission: Corrupt your sexy bodyguard. Initiated!]
"Yoona, cover me for a second," I grinned.
I walked right over to the stoic, dark-suited bodyguard and stopped directly in front of her. I smiled. "Val."
Val blinked, snapping her gaze to mine. "Young Master Seth? Is there a security concern—"
Without giving her a chance to finish her sentence, I reached out, grabbed both of her hands, and pulled her right into the middle of the dancing lounge!
Val’s entire body went rigid. Her dark eyes widened in absolute panic, her cheeks instantly exploding into a fiery crimson flush. "S-Seth! What are you doing?! I am on active protection duty-!"
"Protection duty can take a five-minute break!" I laughed, taking her hands and moving her stiff arms through a basic swaying step. "Come on, Val! Dance with us!"
Val looked like a top-level military android whose programming had just suffered a complete logic breakdown. She tried to maintain her stoic composure, but her feet shuffled in an awkward, rigid, and uncoordinated manner, her arms stiff as wooden planks while her face burned redder than Yoona’s hair.
PETTTT!
Yoona burst into breathless laughter, coming over to grab Val’s left arm while I held her right. "Fufufu~ Look at our head of security! She’s so cute!"
Dylan laughed alongside, all while continuing his dance. "Miss Valerie is cute!"
"I am... not cute!" Val squeaked out, her voice cracking slightly as she stumbled over her own heels, nearly tripping straight into my chest. I caught her smoothly around her waist, steadying her while grinning at her blushing face.
"Careful dear," I said, voice full of teasing. "You’re a good dancer, you know. Don’t break your ankles as I still wanna dance with you."
That made her blush even harder. How could this woman be so terrifying that she became the head of security, yet remain so cute?
[My bodyguard can’t be this cute!]
Even Grandfather Alistair, who was standing near the front railing sipping a glass of aged wine, let out a hearty burst of laughter. "Hahaha! Loosen up, Valerie! The boy is right! Even the sharpest blade needs to rest."
Seeing everyone laughing so warmly, without a trace of judgment or mockery, Val’s rigid shoulders finally relaxed. A soft, breathless giggle escaped her lips, her violet eyes softening with affection as she gave up on her stoic mask, letting Yoona and me pull her into the cheerful, chaotic dance.
None of us really danced properly. Maybe Yoona knew how to dance, but I didn’t know anything. I was as illiterate as one could be on this, but that didn’t matter.
We were just having fun.
Meanwhile, over on the sofa, Mom was gushing over Dylan, who was attempting to teach Julian a modern pop-dance move, a sight so outrageously funny that even Dad couldn’t keep his stoic face, letting out a rare, quiet chuckle as he awkwardly tapped his foot to the beat.
Yet, even amidst the chaotic revelry of our skybox... my eyes kept drifting back toward the central stage.
Down below, framed by bursting blue pyrotechnics and soaring holographic dragons, Yerin was reaching the climax of her song.
She held a long, incredibly powerful high note that seemed to resonate into the heavens, her dark hair whipping around her shoulders as she executed a flawless spin. For a brief split second, amidst the blinding ocean of hundred thousand fans and flashing lights... Yerin turned her head, looking straight toward our floating VIP skybox.
A tiny, subtle, and captivating smirk broke through her "Cold Beauty" persona, a secret, loving smile meant exclusively for me.
My heart thumped hard against my ribs. Looking down at her, surrounded by the laughter of my family, the warmth of my new fiancée, and the joy of the people around me, an unshakeable sense of happiness washed over me.
The concert had only just begun... and it was already absolute peak.
