Daywind, the taller monk, walked up to Alex, standing over him. This close, he could feel the strange pull all Half-gods had on other people. And while Alex’s pull was much weaker than what they felt around the Sky God, he was still surprised to sense it upon him as well.

For a moment, he couldn’t help but let that surprise show on his face. But then, he controlled his facial features.

"I am ready. What now?" he asked.

Alex remained seated. "Please withdraw all aura, all Divine sense, all Intent you may be unconsciously producing. My Soul won’t be able to handle it all," he told the man.

Daywind did as asked and pulled it all in. "Now what?"

"Now, I will take you in."

The man felt a distortion around him and let it happen. A moment before, he had been standing before Alex. A moment later, he stood in the midst of dense white fog, unable to see in any direction.

He was about to spread his senses out to look in all directions, but Alex’s voice came over almost instantly.

"Please refrain from doing anything that may hurt me."

Like a god speaking down on its subject, his voice came from all directions at once. A second later, he felt a disturbance around him and found Bladedance standing right next to him.

The man gave a nod toward the Celestial.

Bladedance ignored him for a moment, looking around at the place. "What is this? Since when was there a fog here?" she asked.

Daywind didn’t even think about the fog as much as he did the ground beneath him. How could there be land inside of someone’s Soul Space? In the first place, how could Alex’s Soul Space be big enough to not just handle a Divinity but also a Celestial?

"It’s a recent development for moments like this," Alex answered his master. "Here, hold this."

Something flew before them all of a sudden. They grabbed it the moment it was there, and suddenly the fog vanished all around them. Like an illusion gone, they were presented with the true sight inside of Alex’s Soul Space.

A world of Fire.

A massive fiery wall stretched all the way up to the sky, going all around in a large dome. Daywind looked around, unable to hide his surprise at this point. He didn’t know what to say. Just the impossibility of it all was taking his breath away.

"Behind you," Bladedance’s voice came, and finally the man turned.

As he did, the glint of bright sunlight hit his eyes, causing him to squint for a moment. But then, when he focused, he saw the source of the light.

The man’s eyes widened in shock, his mouth agape. He fell to his knees the moment he saw the bright tree that stood on top of a mountain, its roots digging deep into it.

Immediately, he dropped his head onto the ground, his forehead causing cracks to form on the earth.

"Blessed be the Lightmaker, the Creator and the Destroyer. I, your humble servant, throw myself at your feet. Long may you live. Long may you help us live. May your light purge us all of our sins."

Bladedance blinked in surprise at the devoted monk. Given how haughty they were in front of the other gods, she hadn’t expected them to throw themselves to the ground so quickly at the sight of the tree itself.

Based on everything she understood by now, the tree wasn’t what they truly worshiped, but rather the Sun God, who they believed the tree to be. But for people who sought the Sun God, they were quick to ignore one when he came before them.

Alex couldn’t say anything either as the man remained with his forehead to the ground for a very long time. Over a minute passed before the man raised his head again and looked back up at the tree. His eyes were filled with wild wonder, and soon they misted up and one tear rolled down the side of his face.

"I have witnessed it," the man said after a moment, while remaining on his knees. "Our god has returned to us."

Alex didn’t know what to say.

"Is that all?" Bladedance asked. "If that is all, then you should leave now."

"I wish to look at my god for much longer," the man said.

"No," Bladedance said. "There is a discussion happening outside. I’m not going to let you waste time here."

The man appeared annoyed, but he did his best to hide it. He looked down and felt the dirt. "How does this exist here?" he asked as he turned around. The rest of the world was covered in yellow flames, not allowing him to see any further.

"May I request that I see what else is in here?" the man asked.

"No," Bladedance said before Alex even had an opportunity to reject. She turned. "Bring us out."

Alex didn’t bother being cordial to the Divinity, considering his master had handled all the parts that would require it. So he brought them both out directly.

Bladedance arrived back in the room, standing a bit to the side from where she had been previously. As for Daywind, he appeared right before Alex, still on his knees. He looked up and saw Alex staring down at him.

The strange pull nearly got to him this time.

He quickly got back up and dusted his robes. Dirt fell on the marble floor, surprising a few of the people there.

"Brother Daywind, what did you see?" Noonstar, the shorter monk, asked.

"I saw our god, brothers," the man answered with more enthusiasm than anything the three had shown until now combined. "Our god lives."

The other two immediately smiled widely, happy to learn the truth.

"However," Daywind said suddenly, causing the others to freeze. "There may be an issue."

"What issue?" the Celestial asked, growing wary.

Daywind answered.

"I believe... our God is still only in the Immortal rank."
