They dealt with the Yellow Sea Seven Demon Pirates?
This thought only flashed across everyone’s minds for an instant, yet it was enough to make their hearts tremble, the shock on their faces impossible to hide as they turned to look at Ye Chen.
This guy can’t seriously be lying, can he? Those were Primordial Pirates under the Yellow Sea Seven Demons Pirate Organization. Though they weren’t the strongest Yellow Sea Seven Demons themselves, they were still far above people like them. How could they possibly be "dealt with"?
Although they didn’t know whether Ye Chen was feigning surprise and putting on airs at this moment, everyone had no choice but to believe him.
Elder Xia added, "This old man is willing to agree!"
"Good!"
Ye Chen shot Mo Haishen a meaningful glance.
Mo Haishen understood, and directly stepped out of the ship.
Just as everyone saw that Ye Chen merely had Mo Haishen go out alone with no further movement, feeling puzzled and doubtful, at that very moment a terrifying sound suddenly rose from the Primordial Divine Sea.
Rumble—
The tremendous sound came from behind them, from the direction of the pursuing Yellow Sea Seven Demon Pirate Ship. With that single detonation, everyone aboard clearly felt that the dense rain of Divine Power cannon beams had abruptly vanished, and in their place came only panicked cries for help and miserable screams from afar.
At this point, everyone hurried out, and then they stood there dumbstruck as they saw that originally mighty and towering pirate ship now reduced to a heap of wreckage, torn to pieces across the surface of the sea, rapidly collapsing apart amid the crashing waves.
Those several hundred Primordial Pirates had all fallen into the sea, each of them panic-stricken, trying to soar back into the sky. Yet within the surging waves lurked a terrifying danger: colossal black shadows constantly sliced through the depths, and then gaping bloody maws opened wide, swallowing many Primordial Pirates alive.
Rumble, rumble—
From that ruined pirate ship, a sudden streak of silver light cut through wind and waves, driving a mass of Treasure as it wove through the sea and arrived before them.
On the ship, Mo Haishen’s water-blue hair flowed freely, his bearing exceedingly handsome, like a Heavenly God descending. He bowed respectfully to Ye Chen and spoke, "Mas—"
The word "Master" had not yet fully left his lips before Ye Chen interrupted him. He turned to Elder Xia and the tribal people, his voice warm: "Elder Xia, everyone, the trouble has been taken care of, and these are also the Treasures from the pirate ship. Primordial Pirates have a bad reputation; if this pirate ship were to enter the pass, it would undoubtedly be thoroughly investigated, so we could only destroy it completely. However, this ship itself is quite decent. It can replace our current damaged vessel and carry us back to the tribe, into Ancestor God Pass."
The others were already deeply shocked, and they now stared at Mo Haishen in even greater awe. This young man, who looked about as young as Xia Mu’er and the others, had gone out for less than a moment, yet he had effortlessly annihilated that notorious Yellow Sea Seven Demon Pirate Ship and even brought back such a trove of Treasure. It was truly unbelievable.
The other three are likely not much weaker either—each one a terrifying young Heavenly Pride.
Moreover, the one who felt most unfathomable was still this young man named Ye Chen. The other three faintly deferred to him as their head; his strength was likely the greatest among the four.
"Brother Ye Chen, thank you all for stepping in to save us!"
Only when Xia Mu’er spoke did the others finally snap out of it. They offered earnest, heartfelt thanks to Ye Chen and his companions for their aid. Without them, they would have been slaughtered and robbed; how could they still be alive now?
And that Moon White Divine Ship was even directly gifted to them, so they changed vessels and set off toward Ancestor God Pass.
As for the ship’s hold, it was packed full of all kinds of rare Treasures—among them quite a few that rivaled the Heavenly Flame Pearl in value, and even more that were far rarer and more precious. So many and so varied, it was practically an unimaginable fortune.
No wonder so many powerful figures liked to become Primordial Pirates. Though such pirates had notorious reputations and were sometimes hunted down by other experts, often dying without a burial place, it was still the fastest way to gain immense wealth in a short time.
No matter what, the people of the Xiasang Tribe refused to accept more. They were all from a small tribe, simple in nature. These people had already saved all of them; they were already endlessly grateful—how could they shamelessly take those riches as well?
This attitude made Ye Chen regard them a bit more highly. He did not stand on ceremony and accepted all the wealth; perhaps it would prove useful in this unfamiliar Ten Heavenly Realm Ancient Domain.
Only the Moon White Divine Ship, the people of the Xiasang Tribe truly could not refuse, for their original vessel had already been torn apart and destroyed by the Divine Power cannons, no longer fit to sail upon the perilous Primordial Divine Sea.
It was obvious that this Moon White Divine Ship was exquisitely crafted, the Dao Patterns carved upon it far from ordinary—very likely the work of a master. It was sufficient to withstand attacks from top experts of the Heavenly King Realm.
The Moon White Divine Ship was faster than their original ancient boat, and under Elder Xia’s helmsmanship it shot forward like wind and lightning, almost at extreme speed.
On the way, they encountered other Primordial Pirates, and saw several other races’ Cultivators out on the sea Seeking Treasure being hunted down by these Primordial Pirates, most unable to escape death and robbery.
Although Xia Mu’er and several of the tribe’s young Heavenly Pride found it hard to bear and pleaded with some of the elders to intervene and save them, Elder Xia was experienced and resolute. He knew that even if he wanted to save them, he could not save everyone, and might even drag everyone aboard into danger.
That was unacceptable. Moreover, since they had chosen to enter this perilous Primordial Divine Sea in search of Treasure, they also had to be prepared to bear the risks.
Ye Chen and the others naturally understood. Unlike Xia Mu’er, who had grown up under the shelter of tribal elders, they had each stepped out from their own Ancient Universe, tread upon the Ultimate Ancient Road and Supreme Ancient Road, experiencing countless battles great and small, many of them brushes with death. Their Dao Hearts were long since tempered and firm, not so easily swayed by others.
The weak are prey to the strong; this is an inevitable truth everywhere.
Kindness is not viable in such an environment.
The Moon White Divine Ship was exceedingly swift. After only a single day’s travel, they were already drawing near to Ancestor God Pass.
When they arrived within sight of Ancestor God Pass, the seas within ten thousand miles all became calm and gentle. Even the chaotic seascapes of constant storms that raged all year round were forced into stillness—because of Ancestor God Pass.
Standing at the prow, Ye Chen and the others lifted their heads, gazing at that single Ancestor God Pass. Even their tempered Mental Realms couldn’t help but ripple.
