Jester stared blankly for a few moments, his body swaying back and forth as Fang kept running faster and faster.

2,155.5 EUD in total... he had earned it simply by killing the Eighth Prince!

Well, it was not like someone could kill a prince whenever they wanted. This had only happened because of a truly unbelievable chain of events. Even so, a prince should have been carrying far more wealth than this.

Why had he only been carrying twenty-one gold?

And that was not even counting the materials and weapons he had obtained, all of which he was certain would be worth a fortune if he decided to sell them.

Then there was the Divine Scythe resting inside his inventory. Like... this was an Eternal Legacy of this level. He knew just how much the richest people in the world poured their money into this game. They even competed fiercely just to become the strongest.

This was not a game people played casually. There were those who truly built their lives around it. So... a weapon with a Divine Grade was practically the same as holding a priceless diamond in his hands.

If only the weapon could be traded, or if he could simply sell his account. Unfortunately, the Divine Scythe was already bound to him, and bound meant exactly that. Even if he died, he would simply respawn with it. Besides, selling game accounts was impossible in Eternal Legacy.

Each person could only have one account, and it was permanently tied to their identity. That meant this weapon would always belong to Jester, and Jester alone.

If he wanted to make the greatest profit possible, then he would have to be smart and make full use of everything he had.

"What about Zetia?" he muttered once more. "The Goddess of Chaos."

Just saying the name Chaos carried a strangely heavy feeling. Yet if Goddess Zetia was truly one of the seven goddesses he had accidentally seen bathing in that river...

Jester had not noticed even the slightest sign of chaos among them. Like, the artifact had turned him into an Evil Clown. Evil!

Shouldn't the original owner of a Divine Artifact like this also be evil? And filled with chaos?

The problem was, Jester had something close to a photographic memory.

He swallowed hard. Because he could still remember almost every one of the goddesses' faces from that day.

Okay, not all of them. Two had only shown him their backs, while one had only been visible from the side. Even so, he could clearly remember their features. At the very least, he still remembered their hair colors and their body shapes.

He shook his head, trying to push the memory aside for the moment, even though he knew it would never truly disappear. An experience like that was simply too unforgettable.

No, it wasn't because of any dirty thoughts or lust. It was because he had gone through something he never could have imagined. Anyone would remember something that unexpected and extraordinary for a long time.

Jester let out another sigh. Which one of the seven had been the Goddess of Chaos? There had been one woman with long crimson hair and a sharp, commanding presence. And her chest had been...

He swallowed again.

It had been... rather impressive.

She definitely looked more like the Goddess of Chaos than any of the others.

Hopefully she would not show up anytime soon to reclaim this artifact. If she appeared too early, he would not have enough time to squeeze every bit of value out of it before handing it back.

He had to move quickly. He could not afford to waste even a single moment.

Jester shifted his attention back to the loot he had obtained from the prince. The first item was a sword.

[Valtherion's Last Requiem (Sword) | Rare | Weapon]

The sword's name had been taken from its original owner? That meant the game must have modified the item the moment it dropped from its source. He clicked his tongue.

"This game definitely nerfed the sword's original abilities. Otherwise, its price and overall value would have been way too high if they had left it exactly as it was."

[STR+10 | AGI+5]

[Weight: 128]

[Durability: 320/350]

[Skills: Princely Draw]

[Description: The cherished blade of the fallen Eight Prince, forged with pride and tempered by his noble blood. Now it hungers for a new master's hand. A weapon that remembers its wielder's mastery of both bow and steel, demanding excellence from whoever dares claim it.]

[Skill: Princely Draw]

[Deals 180% physical damage with guaranteed critical hit if accuracy check succeeds.]

Jester gave a small nod. A Rare-grade sword with a single active offensive skill. It would be a solid option if he ever wanted to fight with a sword. Still, the name Valtherion engraved on the weapon could become a problem if he tried to sell it. That alone might bring him unwanted trouble.

Better to just keep the sword and use it for whatever came up. Chopping tree branches, cutting vegetables, or any other everyday task. Besides, the sword itself looked pretty good, and he would need it anyway if he wanted to disguise himself as that annoying, arrogant Caelan.

Next, Jester turned his attention to the bow. Hopefully this one would prove more useful than the sword.

Let's see what he had gotten.

[Skills: Inferno Homing Shot]

[Skill: Inferno Homing Shot]

[Launch a long-range arrow wreathed in searing flames that automatically locks onto the nearest enemy and detonates with catastrophic impact, dealing massive fire damage. The arrow's trajectory cannot be evaded once fired.]

"Alright, alright."

An Elite-grade longbow. That was already on a completely different level. Just its grade alone made it incredibly valuable. Elite-grade, seriously. No wonder the prince had been so full of himself when he claimed he was the greatest archer of this generation.

What a joke. All that trash talk, yet he was an archer who let himself get dragged into close combat. Then he got careless because of his own arrogance. Idiot.

It made perfect sense, though. As an archer, his Constitution probably was not that high. That explained why his HP dropped so quickly and why he had gone down that easily.

Thinking about it now, Jester had probably gone overboard by using the scythe to kill the prince. He still had other offensive skills that could have finished the job just as well.

Still, whatever. The important thing was that the prince was dead and had not managed to create an even bigger problem. He had to die. Besides, Jester's existence had already been exposed anyway.

His biggest problem now was deciding who would make the first move. Would he strike the Silverwings Guild before they found him, or would they track him down first?

There was no way to know whether one of the players in that raid had recording enabled during the boss fight. If someone had, there was always a chance his identity had been captured.

Then again, Jester had been much smaller at the time, and his body had been completely covered by the dark aura surrounding the scythe. The explosion had also been massive, and he had been thrown away almost immediately afterward. Even so, there was still a chance someone had managed to figure out who he was.

There were simply too many possibilities.

He nodded once again. He needed to get to the city as soon as possible to buy whatever supplies he needed and prepare himself. After that, he would log out for a while, do some research, and get ready to deal with an even bigger situation.

He had enormous potential if he could make full use of his Harvest Mask while disguised as the prince. Whether it was making a huge profit or using the identity to level up much faster, the opportunities were there.

Fang burst forward once more, running even faster through the forest until they finally broke free from the endless rows of trees and entered a wide open plain. The dire wolf eventually slowed to a stop when they reached the edge of a cliff.

Jester looked out at the vast landscape stretching before him. Beyond the open fields, standing proudly in the distance, was the Capital City of Valtherion. It was not that far away. At this pace, they should be able to reach it within a few hours.

"Let's go, Fang. Take me to the city."

The dire wolf shot forward, then leaped high into the air, its massive body soaring for a brief moment.

"Hahaha... this is amazing."

Jester grabbed onto the wolf tightly as the wind rushed against his face.

"We'll head back to the palace later, okay? Take me on a tour. Let's see what the life of a prince is really like."

Fang landed heavily before charging across the ground once again at full speed. Just then, a notification appeared in front of Jester.
