Evil Clown Evolution [A VRMMORPG Adventure]
Ch 31 - The Most Prestigious GuildA Bullkin named Snuk was caught on camera raiding a small village deep within the forests of the Kingdom of Valtherion. A player who happened to be completing a quest nearby recorded the entire scene from a safe distance before uploading the footage online.
The video clearly showed the massive Bullkin kicking helpless villagers to the ground as they desperately tried to flee. Moments later, he grabbed a little girl who had tried to resist, effortlessly lifting her into the air while she struggled in terror.
"Someone, please help them! Don't just stand there recording. Do something!"
"I seriously can't watch this... Please save that little girl."
"Hey, you filthy Bullkin! Put that little girl down right now, you monster!"
"Why is nobody helping them? There's a child over there! Is everyone in that village just going to watch?"
"He actually picked her up like she was nothing. This is horrifying."
"Where are the kingdom knights? What are they even doing right now?"
"This video makes me so angry. I hope a high-level player gets there before it's too late."
"Don't let that Bullkin get away! Hunt him down!"
The footage then continued with a young NPC woman rushing forward despite the danger. With tears streaming down her face, she pleaded with Snuk to spare the little girl and take her instead.
"That NPC girl is begging him to take her instead of the child..."
"Someone please save that young woman! Don't let him take her!"
"Does anyone have the exact coordinates? I'll head there immediately if this is still happening."
"That farmer girl is so pitiful. She isn't even thinking about herself."
"I hope a top guild sees this. Those villagers can't survive this on their own."
**
Deep within the forest, a dull thud sounded as the fragile-looking woman crashed into a tree. She slid down the trunk before rolling helplessly across the dirt, coughing violently as she struggled to catch her breath.
Two massive Bullkin towered over her.
"You've lost your damn mind, Snuk! We need food, and you drag back this weak human woman instead?"
The other Bullkin shoved him aside.
"You don't get it, idiot. Food is easy to find. We can wipe out another village whenever we want. Humans are weak." He grinned, his eyes fixed on the trembling woman. "But this one... she caught my attention. It's not every day we find prey that looks like this."
"You really are a dumb bastard. We're wasting our damn time here. The others are gonna notice we're gone, so hurry up and get it over with."
"Don't blame me if you're jealous. She's mine. My prize. Find your own."
"Shut up." The other Bullkin shoved Snuk hard enough to make him stumble. "You owe me for covering your tracks. At least leave me something."
"Not happening." Snuk let out a rough laugh. "I'm keeping this one for myself."
Snuk slowly crouched in front of the young woman.
Lucia had curled herself into a ball against the tree, her face pale as paper. Tears streamed down her cheeks as her entire body shook uncontrollably. Every instinct screamed at her to run, yet her legs refused to move.
The massive Bullkin reached toward her shoulder.
"N-No... please..." Lucia cried, shrinking away as much as she could. "Please don't... I beg you... I'll do anything... just let me go... Please... please..."

Snuk let out a low chuckle.
"Weren't you the one who offered yourself in exchange for the little girl?" he sneered. "You made your choice. Now stop struggling."
Lucia desperately shook her head, tears falling even faster.
"I'm begging you... Please have mercy... Please... don't..."
Snuk reached closer.
"No! Please! Stay away from me! Please... somebody... Help me! Please...!"
Snuk grabbed the young woman's clothes with one massive hand and tore them apart with a single violent pull.
Lucia let out a terrified scream, her face drained of every trace of color as tears streamed uncontrollably down her cheeks. Her entire body trembled so badly she could barely breathe.
The Bullkin only threw his head back and laughed.
Just as he reached toward her again...
Time seemed to freeze.
A deafening impact slammed into the side of Snuk's head.
His massive body shot across the clearing before crashing through several trees, splintering thick trunks like brittle branches until he finally slammed into the ground in a cloud of dirt and broken wood.
"What the hell was that?!" Snuk roared, his voice filled with fury.
"Snuk! Some bastard's looking for a fight!" the other Bullkin shouted. "Get up! Let's crush them!"
Snuk forced himself back onto his feet, rage burning in his eyes as he looked toward the one who had struck him.
The moment he saw them, his expression twisted even further.
Standing there was a human boy, no older than seventeen, with short black hair. He wore fitted white-and-green armor and rested a long battle axe across one shoulder as if sending a Bullkin flying was nothing.
A few steps behind him stood a young woman who looked to be in her early twenties. Her long black hair was tied into a braid, and she wore fitted green armor. With her arms crossed and an indifferent expression.
"Damn those bastard players!" Snuk bellowed. "Why the hell are you sticking your noses into this?!"
The two players didn't even seem to agree with each other. The boy stood facing the Bullkin, gripping his axe. Meanwhile, the young woman behind him had her back turned to the monsters entirely, her arms crossed as though she couldn't be bothered.
"Windious," she said with an annoyed sigh. "You know we're in a hurry. Yet you still came all the way here just because of some stupid viral video."
"Clover."
Windious answered without taking his eyes off the Bullkin.
"Didn't you see that young woman?" His voice remained calm, almost emotionless. "Those two Beastkins have gone too far. This won't even take a minute. I'll kill them, and then we'll leave."
"You're an idiot." Clover clicked her tongue. "You know they travel in groups. If the others find out, we'll have an entire pack on our backs. It's not like I'm scared of fighting them, but it'll be a complete waste of time."
She finally glanced over her shoulder at the Bullkin.
"There are a lot of them. Sure, they're only around level one-fifty or so, individually they're nothing special, but dealing with an entire pack is just annoying."
Windious took another step forward before slamming the head of his battle axe into the ground.
Boom!
The earth cracked beneath the impact, jagged fractures racing across the clearing toward the two Bullkin.
Both monsters immediately leaped aside as the ground split where they had been standing only a heartbeat earlier.
Windious slowly lifted his axe onto his shoulder.
"You filthy pieces of trash..." he said. "You think picking on people who can't fight back makes you strong? You kick old men into the dirt, terrorize children, and hunt down defenseless villagers just because they can't stop you."
He pointed the axe straight at Snuk.
"Listen carefully, because I'm only saying this once. Every second you spent making those people suffer... every scream, every tear... you're paying for all of it today."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"I'm going to break every bone in your bodies, drag your corpses through this forest, and leave what's left of you as a warning. Any Bullkin dumb enough to lay a hand on innocent people again can join you."
His expression hardened.
"So come on. Show me how tough you are."
Windious lowered the tip of his axe toward them.
"Or were you only brave because your victims couldn't fight back?"
Behind him, Clover let out an exasperated sigh.
"Windious, I know you're trying to entertain your livestream, but do you really have to act like some storybook hero? Just finish them already."
Without looking back, Windious shrugged.
"The audience deserves a good show. Besides, intimidating the bad guys is part of the performance."
"What a joke."
Clover rolled her eyes.
"Why are you even livestreaming in the first place?"
"I need the extra money, you know. Living inside this game burns through cash faster than you'd think."
She stared at him for a moment before snorting.
"You're an idiot. You don't need extra money. Your family's already ridiculously rich."
She cracked her knuckles and finally turned toward the Bullkin.
"Now quit talking and kill them already. Otherwise, I'll do it myself."
Meanwhile, on the other side of the screen, Windious's livestream was exploding with viewers.
The clip of the Bullkin attack had already gone viral, and the moment people realized Windious and Clover had arrived at the scene, the viewer count skyrocketed. The chat began flying by so quickly that individual messages barely stayed on screen for a second.
"Oh, damn! This is exactly what I've been waiting for! Let's go, Windious!"
"No freaking way! Windious and Clover are actually on stream together! My eyes have been blessed!"
"The Prodigy is here! Those two Bullkin are so screwed!"
"Kill those filthy Bullkin! Don't let either of them walk away!"
"Make them pay for what they did to those villagers!"
"Wipe them out, Windious! Tear those monsters apart!"
"Clover, don't let Windious steal all the fun! Beat them into the ground!"
"They picked the worst possible players to mess with. They're finished."
"Two of the Thirteen! Members of the most prestigious guild in the game!"
"Two of the very few players who have already surpassed Level 200!"
"Vesperion Guild! Show those monsters why you're at the top!"
