Lin Haoren wasn’t unfamiliar with the term "Sexting." After all, he didn’t live under a rock.
He just never expected Su Xiaoran to be so bold.
However, her message seemed to have such an implication. Was she really going to send him an erotic picture of herself in the morning?
Lin Haoren realized that he did not have a single photo of Su Xiaoran.
Was his first photo of her going to be an erotic one?
Was there such a good thing?
Lin Haoren glanced left and right, worried that others might see. After all, this was his girlfriend! Her private photos should only be for his eyes!
[Alright, let me see. (Eager_Look)]
Lin Haoren saw the photo Su Xiaoran sent, and his mind went blank with disappointment. It was just a normal photo of the bed.
He couldn’t even see his girlfriend in the photo, just the contour of her legs under the blankets.
[Xiaoran, you’ve gone bad. How dare you tease me? Also, didn’t I say I didn’t like that nickname? Just you wait. See how I will teach you a lesson when I get back.]
[Hihihihi, I just miss you. If you’re capable, fly back today to teach me a lesson. I’ll wait for you. (Smug_look)]
Lin Haoren wore a look of helplessness.
Today was supposedly the first day of episode 4’s filming. He was expected to meet the resident guests of A Home for Paws.
As such, he definitely couldn’t fly back to Jinhai today.
Since that wasn’t possible, what about a video call?
After Lin Haoren sent the video call, it took some time for Su Xiaoran to accept.
"Renren, why did you decide to video call me? Are you hoping to see something that isn’t safe for work~?" Su Xiaoran teased, feeling happy.
"Can’t I just video call to see my girlfriend? Does it have to be about that stuff?" Lin Haoren replied with a helpless smile.
"Oh? Are you saying you are not interested in seeing that stuff?" Su Xiaoran raised an eyebrow, questioning him.
"I am..."
Lin Haoren was almost in a hurry to answer when he suddenly stopped, realizing it was a trap. Neither answer seemed to be good.
He looked up and saw Su Xiaoran’s thoughtful smile.
"You’re teasing me again, Xiaoran." Lin Haoren scratched his head with a bitter look.
How come he didn’t know Su Xiaoran could be so playful and mischievous?
"If you really want to see, hurry up and finish your work over there. I don’t mind letting you look all you want once you get back," Su Xiaoran said shyly.
Lin Haoren smiled without any special thoughts.
He couldn’t tell if she was still joking or serious. The only thing he could tell was that his girlfriend missed him.
[Brother Lin, I’ve arrived outside the hotel. Are you ready to leave yet?]
Lin Haoren saw Assistant Du’s message and realized it was time to leave. As such, he cut his conversation with his girlfriend short.
"My driver is here to take me to the filming location. I’ll call you back when I’m free."
"Mm, I understand. Travel safely, my boyfriend."
Although Su Xiaoran was disappointed by the short call, she still wished Lin Haoren well with his work.
After the call ended, Lin Haoren hurried back to his room to wash Oreo’s empty bowl. Then, he grabbed the leash and took Oreo out with him.
"Sorry I’m late, Xiao Du," Lin Haoren apologized as he entered the blue MPV.
Assistant Du shook her head and said, "You’re not late at all, Brother Lin. You’re right on time. It was me who came a bit early."
Lin Haoren checked the time and realized that really was the case. Assistant Du was just eager to see Oreo a few minutes sooner.
The ride took roughly thirty minutes.
The blue MPV reached Qingshan Industrial District, located on the northwestern outskirts of Beiyang City.
Qingshan Industrial District became increasingly obsolete over the years and was filled with many abandoned places.
Most of the larger factories had already relocated to Beiyang High-Tech Industrial Park.
Assistant Du drove the blue MPV into the northern end of Qingshan, to an area locals call Old Warehouse Street.
The blue MPV parked near Qingshan Warehouse No.13.
In front of the entrance of Qingshan Warehouse No.13, several big tents were pitched on either side, forming two near rows with a clear, spacious path down the middle.
Most of the A Home for Paws Production Team and resident guests were gathered inside the tents.
No one wanted to stay outside to endure the cold winds in the middle of winter.
"Teacher Lin, Director Chen and the resident guests are in the second tent on the left," a crewman responsible for logistics pointed Lin Haoren in the right direction.
"Thank you," Lin Haoren acknowledged.
Lin Haoren brought Oreo to the main tent, which was also the largest of the six tents present at the scene.
Inside the main tent, all eight resident guests and Director Chen were gathered in a circle with a large building plan of Qingshan Warehouse No.13 laid out in the center.
"Our special guests are here." Director Chen smiled as he quickly got up to introduce Lin Haoren. "Everyone, let us give a warm welcome to Lin Haoren and Oreo."
"Ooh~! Welcome to the team, Brother Lin."
"Ahhh~! It’s Oreo! I can’t believe it’s Oreo from the viral short video!"
The eight resident guests were immediately divided in their reactions.
Most gave their warm welcomes to Lin Haoren as instructed, while a couple of the female resident guests squealed with great surprise and excitement.
Those who recognized Oreo immediately crowded around him with overflowing affection.
No one had been informed who the special guest would be. As such, it was everyone’s raw reaction after finding out on the spot.
"Director Chen, how could you keep such a big secret?! You should have told us Oreo was coming!" the youngest female resident guest, Wei Xinya, complained.
However, her eyes formed crescent moons out of happiness.
"Xiao Ya, do you like this surprise?" Director Chen smiled smugly, feeling proud of his choice.
"I do!" Wei Xinya answered firmly.
Meanwhile, the four male resident guests glanced at each other with confusion. They had no idea who Lin Haoren or Oreo was.
"Who are they?"
