Third Person
Angel watched as her friends devoured her lobsters, Crab, and shrimps, busy eating the seafood noodles she had just prepared for April.
None of them cared that Angel had been glaring at them since they entered the terrace. She sat stiffly on her stool, her eyebrows drawn tight together, her jaw locked so hard the muscles in her cheek twitched.
The first thing they did was grab a plate and join the two girls. They had simply pushed their way through the open space, pulling up extra chairs without asking, their chatter cutting right through the quiet day.
"Did you guys not have breakfast this morning?" Angel finally spoke, her eyes still glaring at Sabrina because she had taken the biggest crab. She pointed her chopsticks directly at the stolen claw, her knuckles turning angry.
"Yes, we did, but this is amazing. Seafood noodles... It has been so long since I’ve had this, hmmm so yummy..." Abigail said, her mouth full as she slurped the noodles.
"Your mother controls the district, and the restaurants you used to work at serve this delicacy. You can also prepare it yourself if you just go to the market and buy the ingredients and cook," Angel pointed out, putting all her frustration on Abigail, who acted like she wasn’t hearing a thing. Angel leaned forward, her elbows digging into her knees as she spat out each word.
"Angel, just let them eat. It’s fine," April said, trying to calm the angry Alpha. She reached over, her light fingers gently resting on Angel’s tense forearm, feeling the heat radiating off her skin.
"I am not fine with this. This is supposed to be a private thing for us, and they just barged in like they own the place, my place..." Angel said. She wasn’t really happy. The only way up here was through the elevator, and there was no privacy because there wasn’t even a door to lock. Anyone could just step off the platform and walk right into her personal space.
"Now you understand what it’s like to ruin people’s moments, huh?" Sabrina said, still talking about the volleyball game. She snapped the shell of the crab open with a crisp sound, licking a drop of juice off her thumb while maintaining eye contact.
"Whatever. I hope you choke on that crab," Angel glared, letting out a sharp breath through her nose.
She grabbed a plate and chopsticks, looking at the pot and trying to find any scraps of noodles left. Her utensils scraped against the metal bottom, making a harsh sound that echoed across the roof.
"Not even a single shrimp," Angel hissed, staring at the pot, which contained nothing but soup.
"Don’t worry. I’ll feed you," April said, offering her plate. She shifted closer, balancing her own bowl carefully on her lap so it wouldn’t tilt.
"Okay," Angel muttered. Her tense shoulders dropped a fraction of an inch, though her face remained stubborn.
April picked up some noodles with her chopsticks and offered them to Angel. The noodles glinted with slick sauce, steaming as they hung in the air between them.
"Ow, ow... it’s too hot." Angel pulled her head back instantly, squeezing her eyes shut as she fanned her tongue.
"Oh, sorry."
April blew on the noodles repeatedly before giving them to Angel. She leaned in close, her cheeks puffing out as she cooled the bite down with quick, gentle breaths. Angel opened her mouth and slurped them.
"Is it okay now?" April asked. She kept her eyes fixed on Angel’s face, waiting for her reaction.
"Hmm." Angel nodded. The tension around her jaw finally softened, her throat moving as she swallowed the food.
Then a flash went off across their faces, interrupting their little moment.
The girls turned to see all four friends staring at them.
Abigail was the one who had taken the picture. She was still holding her phone up, a wide grin spreading across her face as she looked down at the screen.
She needed evidence of their love story..
"We didn’t believe it when Abigail announced that you two were dating. So it is true? The playgirl Angel has finally settled down with the bookworm omega..," Carlos teased, trying to keep a straight face but couldn’t..
"This is unbelievable. April got herself a girlfriend," Katie added, her eyes wide as she looked between the two of them.
"No, no, no. We are not dating. She’s not my girlfriend," Angel denied. She sat up straight, waving her hand back and forth in front of her chest to dismiss the idea.
April tried to hide her blush. She quickly turned her head away, biting her lower lip while a warm flush crept up her neck and painted her cheeks red.
"If you’re not dating, then what are you two doing, playing..?" Sabrina asked. She set her empty plate down on the floor, crossing her legs as she stared Angel down.
"Yes, Angel. Explain your relationship with April. What is she to you?" Abigail added, confusing the Alpha. She tilted her head, enjoying every second of Angel’s visible distress.
"Yes, tell us. We want to know," Katie said.
"We are not dating okay," Angel repeated. Her voice rose a bit higher, her hands fidgeting with the edge of her shirt.
"Then tell us what she is to you, you puta," Carlos said, throwing his head back with a sharp laugh.
The confused Alpha was starting to get annoyed. She shifted uncomfortably on her stool, her chest rising and falling as her heart rate kicked up.
"April and I are not dating. She’s not my girlfriend either. April is my..."
As Angel struggled to come up with a word, everyone leaned closer. The entire circle narrowed around her, the air growing heavy with quiet anticipation.
Even April was waiting to hear what the Alpha was going to say, her eyes fixed on Angel’s profile, holding her breath.
"She is your what?" they all asked together.
"My woman."
Angel finally confessed, her arm slid around April’s waist with sudden, unyielding pressure, yanking her sideways until their shoulders smashed together.
"April is my woman. Mine."
"So she’s your woman, and you’re not dating her, huh?" Sabrina said. A slow smirk pulled at the corner of her mouth.
"Yes." Angel nodded firmly, as if that simple answer settled every question in the universe.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Idiota" Sabrina shook her head. "April, take my word. Find someone better than this confused Alpha. She doesn’t even understand the meaning of what she’s saying."
April, on the other hand, was trying to hold back her laughter because this was hilarious to her. She pressed her hand over her lips, her body trembling slightly as she swallowed down the giggles bubbling up in her throat. She already knew they were dating, but Angel simply didn’t want to accept the word.
Too proud to believe their situation..
"So if she’s your woman... what number is she?" Abigail asked. She rested her chin in her hands, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"What do you mean by that?" Angel asked, still holding April by the shoulder. Her fingers tightened around April, defensive and sharp.
"People you’ve called your women always have ranks. For instance, I was your number one. Is April your number one, or what number is she?" Abigail asked.
"April has no number. She’s my one and only woman in my life."
The words hung in the air, heavy and solid.
"So what about the other women?" Sabrina asked, leaning in a little more.
"There is no other woman in my life anymore. They can go find themselves another Alpha to tickle their flower. From this day on, I only want to tickle hers."
"Poor women. They just lost themselves an Alpha," Carlos said, shaking his head with a mock sigh of pity.
Then Sabrina started laughing at Angel. The sound was loud and bright, echoing off the terrace.
"You... all right, then. Let’s see how this goes. I wonder what will happen when they come searching for you. You’re going to relapse. Hahaha!"
April wrapped her arms around Angel and looked into the Alpha’s eyes. She felt the steady warmth of Angel’s heart beating against her cheek as she locked her fingers together behind Angel’s neck.
"No, she won’t," April assured them.
"How are you sure? This is a horndog we’re talking about," Abigail said, gesturing wildly with her hands.
"She won’t, because if she ever relapses she will never taste my pussy ever again..."
Everyone’s eyes lit up. The entire terrace went dead silent for a fraction of a second as the words sank into the air.
They had just realized the situation Angel had gotten herself into.
"Wow, April, my friend. I am so proud of you. Mazel tov!" Katie cheered, clapping her hands together with a loud burst of laughter.
As everyone continued talking and teasing the Alpha, Coco quietly came out of her hole, she moves closer to her two tuna cans, her nose twitching at the rich smell, before she buried her face into the open metal can and began lapping up the fish in peace.
