Sora reached toward the cake.

The moment she did, several pairs of eyes followed her hand.

Every single beastman at the table was staring.

Sora paused.

She looked around.

The powerful beastmen who could hunt dangerous prey and fight terrifying creatures were all watching a cake as though it were the most precious treasure in the world.

She almost laughed.

These supposedly mighty beastmen were really no different from children when food was placed in front of them.

She picked up her stone knife.

With careful movements, she cut the cake in half.

Then she divided it into several portions and placed one piece into each person’s bowl.

The moment Ace received his piece, he couldn’t wait any longer.

He picked it up with his chopsticks and took a large bite.

His eyes widened.

The texture was completely different from anything he had ever eaten.

Soft.

Light.

Delicate.

There was a subtle sweetness in every bite, accompanied by the fragrance of the raspberries and milk.

The cake practically melted in his mouth.

Ace froze.

For several seconds, he didn’t say anything.

It felt as though a completely new world had opened before him.

"This cake..."

He took another bite.

"It’s really delicious!"

His eyes shone.

"It’s sweet and soft. I’ve never eaten anything like this before."

Lucas immediately took a bite as well.

His expression changed.

"She’s right. It’s amazing!"

He had initially thought the cake was merely another strange food Sora had invented.

But after tasting it, he understood why she had looked so proud when she brought it over.

The texture was incredibly soft.

The sweetness wasn’t overwhelming.

And the wild raspberries added a fresh, slightly tart flavor that balanced everything perfectly.

Even Xavier, who was usually more practical when it came to food, didn’t waste time commenting.

He simply lowered his head and ate.

One bite.

Then another.

And another.

His speed gradually increased.

Sora glanced at him.

She almost smiled.

So he likes it.

Lukan picked up one of the bright red raspberries from the top of his slice.

He placed it in his mouth and smiled.

"This cake with raspberries is just as delicious as the milk tea you made before."

He looked at Sora warmly.

"No wonder you like it."

The moment those words left his mouth, everyone else stopped eating.

Several pairs of eyes turned toward Sora at the same time.

Sora was still chewing her own piece of cake.

She blinked.

"What?"

Lucas was the first to ask.

"What’s milk tea?"

Ace looked curious as well.

"You made a drink?"

Even Damien raised an eyebrow.

Sora suddenly realized that she had never properly explained the milk tea to them.

She swallowed the cake and looked around the table.

Before she could speak, Xavier narrowed his eyes and glared at Lukan.

"Wait."

His voice was cold.

"Kaelira, you made milk tea specifically for Lukan?"

Lukan’s smile didn’t change.

Xavier’s gaze sharpened.

"And you didn’t make any for us?"

The accusation fell so suddenly that Sora almost choked.

She looked at Xavier.

Then at Lukan.

Then at the others.

Everyone was now looking at her.

Sora’s mouth twitched.

What is this?

Why did it suddenly sound like she had committed some kind of crime?

She glanced at Lukan.

For some reason, she felt that his previous comment had been intentional.

Could this gentle-looking man actually be deliberately provoking Xavier?

No.

Surely not.

Lukan was always so mild-mannered.

He couldn’t possibly be that petty.

Right?

Sora decided not to think about it.

She licked a small trace of cream from her lips and answered honestly.

"You can’t blame me for that."

She pointed at them.

"You guys weren’t at the Heavenly God Mountain when I made it."

Then she spread her hands.

"And besides, we don’t have any tea leaves here."

The beastmen exchanged glances.

Tea leaves?

They had never considered such a thing important.

Sora, however, suddenly remembered something.

A small smile appeared on her face.

"Actually..."

She turned and pointed toward an area not far from the wild kitchen.

"I planted a few tea trees after bringing some tea leaves back from the Heavenly God Mountain."

Everyone followed the direction of her finger.

Sure enough, several young tea plants had already been planted nearby.

Sora’s expression became slightly smug.

"They’re still growing, so I’ll have to wait a few days before I can pick enough leaves."

She looked back at the group.

"But if you all want to drink milk tea, I can make it for you once the leaves are ready."

The moment she said that, the atmosphere at the table changed.

Ace’s eyes immediately brightened.

Lucas looked delighted.

Even Damien sat up straighter.

Xavier’s expression remained calm, but the slight relaxation around his eyes betrayed his interest.

Lukan simply smiled.

Sora looked at them and couldn’t help laughing.

It seemed that introducing new food was becoming one of the easiest ways to gather everyone’s attention.

Yet there was something else she hadn’t considered.

Her new cake had not only satisfied their stomachs.

It had also made them even more curious about what else she could create.

And for Sora, that was exactly what she wanted.

Every new invention was another opportunity.

Every delicious meal was another chance to deepen their attachment to her.

And somewhere nearby, beyond the group gathered around the dinner table, another person was silently watching.

Ryan.

His eyes remained fixed on the cake.

He had originally only wanted to see what strange invention Sora had created this time.

But after witnessing the expressions of the other beastmen as they ate it, his curiosity had become even stronger.

He wanted to know what it tasted like.

He wanted to know how the strange earthen oven worked.

And, most importantly...

He wanted to know what other things Sora could create.

The hook had already been set.

Now it was only a matter of time before Ryan took the bait.

Upon hearing that Sora would make milk tea for them, everyone at the table instantly fell silent.

For a moment, nobody said anything.

Although they were somewhat unhappy that Lukan had been the first one to taste the drink, none of them were foolish enough to offend Sora over it.

After all, if they angered her now, there was a very real possibility that they wouldn’t get to eat her delicious food later.

The thought was enough to make everyone quietly lower their heads and continue eating.

Sora, meanwhile, was completely unconcerned.

She took another bite of her raspberry cake while occasionally glancing toward the grass in the distance.
