Sora couldn’t hide the pride in her voice as she looked over the pottery spread across the ground.

This was the first time she had ever made pottery with her own hands. Even she hadn’t expected her first attempt to turn out so well.

So when the curious beastmen gathered around asking questions, she happily introduced each piece.

"These are pottery items I made."

She picked up the largest vessel first.

"This is a cooking pot."

Then she held up a smaller one.

"This is a bowl."

She pointed toward a tiny cup.

"That’s a teacup."

Finally, she indicated a large storage jar.

"And this is a jar for storing food."

One of the females looked confused.

"A pot?"

"Aren’t stone pots good enough?"

Sora smiled patiently.

"Stone pots are too thick and heavy. They take much longer to heat up."

She lifted one of the clay pots effortlessly.

"But these cook food much faster, and they’re much lighter."

Curious, the female accepted the pot from her hands.

The moment she lifted it, her eyes widened.

"It really is lighter!"

She looked at the three cooking pots arranged beside one another.

"But why did you make three of them?"

Sora pointed at each one in turn.

"This large one is for cooking meals for everyone."

"The medium one is for soups or hot pot."

"And the smallest one is for smaller dishes."

"Different foods need different pots."

The female laughed.

"You really thought of everything."

Then another question occurred to her.

"Where did you get this... pottery?"

"I made it myself," Sora replied matter-of-factly.

The female blinked.

"You made it yourself?"

She stared at the smooth reddish-brown surface in disbelief.

The tribe’s stone pots were carved and polished from solid rock, requiring tremendous effort.

Naturally, everyone assumed Sora had done something similar.

"You carved it from stone?"

Sora shook her head.

"No."

"I shaped wet clay by hand."

"After forming each piece, I fired them in a large fire overnight."

Silence.

"...Clay?"

"You mean..."

"These were made from mud?"

The surrounding beastmen exchanged incredulous looks.

How could ordinary mud become something this hard?

That sounded completely impossible.

Just then, another figure entered the gathering.

It was Ryan

He had only just returned to the tribe after hearing that Ace, Xavier, and Lucas had come back with Sora.

The moment his eyes landed on the pottery, he paused.

Unlike everyone else...

He had actually seen similar items before.

During his recent visit to the Royal City, he had noticed several noble families using reddish-gray ceramic vessels.

Although their craftsmanship was far more refined than Sora’s rough creations, the material looked remarkably similar.

His expression changed slightly.

How could someone living in such a remote tribe know about pottery?

He slowly stepped forward.

"You made these yourself?"

His voice remained cold as always, but it lacked the harshness it usually carried whenever he spoke to Kaelira.

She met his gaze and nodded.

"Yes."

"I made every one of them."

Ryan looked toward the three beastmen standing nearby.

He clearly wanted confirmation.

Lucas nodded first.

"It’s true."

"We watched her make every piece."

Ace added,

"We stayed there the entire night just to keep the fire burning."

Xavier chuckled.

"It took all night before they finally turned into this."

Ryan silently examined the pottery once more.

For the first time...

He looked at Sora with genuine surprise.

Ding!

The familiar mechanical voice echoed inside Sora’s mind.

Congratulations, Host. Ryan.’s Affection has increased.

Sora immediately became interested.

"How much did it go up?"

The system replied calmly.

Previous Affection: -100

Current Affection: -50

Sora nearly laughed.

Only fifty points...

Still negative.

But...

Halfway was certainly better than where she’d started.

"Not bad."

"At least there’s progress."

She quickly came to a conclusion.

Ryan clearly respected intelligence more than appearances.

He wasn’t the emotional type.

If she wanted to improve their relationship, she would have to impress him through knowledge and practical inventions rather than trying to win him over with words.

That strategy suited her perfectly.

After all...

She still had plenty of modern knowledge left to introduce to this primitive world.

Just as Sora was thinking about what to invent next, one of the younger beastmen suddenly asked the question everyone else had been secretly wondering.

"Kaelira..."

"There weren’t any caves where you went, right?"

Sora nodded.

"There weren’t."

The young beastman scratched his head.

"Then..."

"How did you and your three beast husbands sleep last night?"

The entire gathering instantly became silent.

Every eye turned toward Sora.

Several females immediately leaned closer, their curiosity practically overflowing.

Even Martin looked over.

Lukan quietly raised an eyebrow.

Ryan’s expression remained unreadable, though his attention was clearly fixed on her.

Sora froze.

"..."

Of all the questions they could have asked...

Why this one?

Her instincts immediately screamed that answering honestly would only make things more embarrassing.

Without thinking, she glanced toward Xavier, Ace, and Lucas, silently asking for help.

The three of them reacted almost instantly.

Without saying a single word...

Each grabbed as much pottery and as many salt bags as they could carry.

Then they turned around and hurried away as though they hadn’t heard the question at all.

In only a few seconds...

They had completely abandoned her.

Sora stared at their retreating backs in disbelief.

"...Seriously?"

"So this is how loyal you are?"

She was left standing alone before the curious crowd.

Lukan watched her thoughtfully.

Ryan also narrowed his eyes ever so slightly.

Unlike before, this time there seemed to be genuine curiosity in his gaze.

How exactly had the four of them spent an entire night together in the wilderness?

Even Sora suddenly realized...

That was going to be a very difficult question to explain.

* * * * * *

Sora really had nothing to do with the three of them.

As she watched them walk away, she wondered how she was supposed to explain the situation. For the first time, Sora felt that being innocent was even harder than actually being caught in a compromising position. Back then, people had only blamed and mocked her. Now, however, Lukan’s piercing gaze and Ryan’s thoughtful expression made the atmosphere far more uncomfortable.

Around them, several beastmen perked up their ears, eager for gossip. Some watched with open skepticism, carefully scrutinizing her expression. Others looked at her with jealousy or resentment. Every kind of reaction could be found among the crowd.

The two people drawing the most attention were Lukan, who stood directly in front of her, and Ryan, whose unreadable expression made it impossible to guess what he was thinking.

Sora swallowed nervously before forcing a smile.

"Actually... it was the same as everyone else."

How was she supposed to explain it?

She couldn’t exactly announce that four people had slept beneath the same fur blanket. Nothing inappropriate had happened, but simply saying it aloud made it sound suspicious.

At the same time, she couldn’t completely deny spending the night with them, either. If she did, Mark would probably drag her off and force her back into cooking for the entire tribe. She had absolutely no intention of becoming the tribe’s full-time servant again.

So she simply laughed the question away.

The moment those words left her mouth, silence fell over the crowd.

The gossip-loving beastmen looked disappointed that they hadn’t heard any scandalous details. The females were equally dissatisfied because Sora hadn’t denied spending the night with the three beastmen.

Lukan, however, wasn’t concerned about such trivial matters.

What puzzled him was how those three had suddenly become so close to Kaelira.

Only a few days earlier, whenever Kaelira argued with them, he had always been the one stepping in to mediate. They had barely shown her any respect. Yet now, after spending only one night together, everything seemed different.

More importantly, he couldn’t shake the feeling that his own relationship with Kaelira had somehow become more distant.

A faint sense of loss settled quietly in his heart.

Ryan, on the other hand, was simply curious.

It hadn’t even been that long, yet this troublesome woman had somehow managed to tame three proud beastmen.

What exactly had she done?

Whatever trick she’d used, he refused to fall for it himself.

"Kaelira," an older female said, shaking her head. "You might as well not answer."

Sora simply smiled.

"Well... that’s a private matter."

Then she looked directly at the older woman.

"Aunt Yen, why don’t you tell everyone how you and your beast husband sleep every night?"

The older woman’s face instantly flushed with embarrassment.

She had only spoken because she thought Kaelira would become flustered and make a fool of herself.

Instead, Kaelira calmly threw the question back at her.

At her age, her beast husbands had long since lost interest in sharing a bed with her. Continuing the conversation would only embarrass herself further.

Unable to respond, she turned and hurried away.

After breakfast, everyone gradually dispersed to begin their daily work.

The beastmen, seeing there was nothing more to watch, also scattered throughout the tribe.

Lukan stood silently for a moment before turning to leave, feeling strangely empty inside.

Unexpectedly, Sora called after him.

"Lukan!"

He stopped and looked back.

Smiling brightly, she waved at him.

"I’m making a big lunch today. Come eat with me."

Lukan blinked in surprise.

Kaelira was inviting him?

He had to admit that her cooking was exceptionally delicious. In fact, that was probably the reason Xavier, Lucas, and Ace practically surrounded her every day.

Wasn’t it?

Thinking it over, he found no reason to refuse.

"I might be a little late," he said. "The Chief wants me to go hunting today."

"That’s fine," Sora replied with a smile. "I’ll wait."

Lukan nodded before leaving with the hunting party.

Ryan remained where he stood.
