Fated love: the unwanted bride

Chapter 2510: Things Will Only Get Better

"Okay, I’ll go prepare it now."

Jasmine Yale was already adept at handling these meetings, having worked with Will Caddel for a long time and familiarized herself with many of the procedures.

She had participated in many such meetings, both significant and minor.

Will Caddel often praised her for her dedication and effort, saying she always put in more effort than others.

"Could you make me a cup of coffee? The coffee you made for me last time was quite good, have you learned it before?" Will Caddel looked at her.

Jasmine Yale smiled, "I worked part-time at a dessert shop during college, that’s where I learned it."

"Oh, I see, no wonder."

"I’ll go make a cup for you now."

"A cup of Mandheling, no sugar, no milk."

"Alright."

Jasmine Yale put down the documents and turned towards Will Caddel’s private tea room.

Jasmine really enjoyed grinding coffee, always finding moments like these wonderfully serene, watching the beans turn into powder, and then brewing into a cup.

She almost forgot the original intention behind learning to make coffee, but forgot it she did.

The aroma of coffee quickly spread, dissipating in the tea room.

She returned to Will Caddel’s office with the steaming coffee, "CEO Caddel, your coffee."

"Thank you, it smells lovely." Will Caddel accepted it.

His desk was piled with documents as well, light casting shadows on his handsome, clean face, his expression gentle.

"Then I’ll return to my office now."

"Alright."

Their exchanges were rarely beyond work, but having been around him for so long, Jasmine had come to understand him to some extent.

She seldom saw this man lose his temper; most of the time, he was gentle and calm. There was only one occasion when she heard him outside the office, infuriated during a phone call, even smashing a cup.

Most of the time, he was mature and steady, without volatile moods.

Jasmine quite liked this kind of boss, working with him didn’t feel tiring.

In the evening, Jasmine applied a delicate makeup, preparing to attend the financial summit with Will Caddel.

Such summits didn’t have much practical significance, probably the greatest benefit was meeting more people and building connections.

Will Caddel valued such opportunities greatly and would almost always attend.

Jasmine had been at ZR for a while but had never seen President Caddel, only knowing that the group was currently managed by Will Caddel.

Will Caddel was certainly capable.

The early summer wind was warm and comfortable, especially in the evening, it was delightful.

Jasmine stood by the window, took a deep breath, and leaned closer to gaze at the sunset outside.

When overwhelmed with work, she liked to stand by the window to self-adjust, very effective, always helping her forget the busyness and anxiety.

The setting sun dyed the high-rises and streets with a faint golden hue, bright and striking, the entire cityscape was uniquely beautiful.

Jasmine rested her chin on her hands at the window, watching the scenery quietly.

Occasionally, she would reach out to touch the warmth of the sunset.

She increasingly believed that things would get better and better.

The gentle breeze caressed her face, she closed her eyes, feeling the gentleness of the breeze and sunset.

The noise of cars below reached her ears, at this moment, she felt detached from it all, her heart beating rhythmically, stable and peaceful.

The sun slowly sank below the horizon, the lingering glow gradually faded until the round red sun was no longer visible, night gently descended.
