Fated love: the unwanted bride
Chapter 2533: Nuzzling Jasmine Yale’s ChestSince Will Caddel moved, Jasmine Yale follows his car to work every day.
Sometimes he is on business trips, but his driver still comes to pick her up, day after day, rain or shine.
Jasmine Yale brings him breakfast, and sometimes her homemade treats.
Will Caddel never meddles in her personal life; their connection is straightforward: work, meetings, socializing, and simple daily routines. Even during holidays, they have no contact.
On Sunday, the weather was exceptionally sunny.
The breeze was gentle, and it was a perfect day for an outing.
Jasmine Yale took Little Clementine to play at the nearby park.
She’s been to the park near her home countless times. In the past, when she came over, she was alone without Little Clementine.
Jasmine Yale pushed Little Clementine to the lively, shaded areas of the park. She bought Little Clementine a rattle drum, and the little one was enjoying it happily.
The drum made a "dong dong" sound, and Little Clementine laughed excitedly.
Since Kade Yuvan returned to Landon, she hasn’t had many friends in Cakago, but thankfully Little Clementine made her life less lonely.
"Come on, Little Clementine, let mommy hold you." Jasmine Yale sat on the bench, took Little Clementine out of the stroller, and let the little one sit on her lap.
Little Clementine was in a good mood, didn’t struggle, and let Jasmine handle her.
Jasmine Yale put a pink little hat on her. She looked adorable.
As Little Clementine played with the toy, Jasmine watched her, feeling content.
"Do you like it here? If you do, mommy will bring you to play whenever she has time."
Little Clementine couldn’t speak, just kept snuggling her little head against Jasmine’s chest, climbing on her with her small legs.
Jasmine Yale chuckled and held her waist: "Little rascal."
She looked down at her daughter’s face, which had grown prettier than when she was born; her eyes were clearer and brighter, her nose upturned, and her little mouth pouted—obedient and cute.
Little Clementine’s features resembled that person’s so much; whether she admits it or not, Little Clementine carries his blood.
Jasmine Yale’s hair had grown long, strands cascading onto Little Clementine’s face; she reached up and grabbed a handful.
"You can’t grab mommy’s hair, sweetie, let go." Jasmine coaxed her.
At first, Little Clementine refused, but Jasmine pried her fingers open, and she let go, looking innocently at Jasmine.
The summer breeze was comforting, cool on the skin, with lush tree shadows, casting a faint shadow on the bench.
This kind of evening easily brings about a sleepy feeling.
But Little Clementine was rambunctious and not the least bit tired.
Jasmine Yale played along with her, her gaze filled with doting affection.
Every now and then, uncles and aunties would come up to amuse Little Clementine, giving her lots of goodies, too much for her two hands to hold.
Jasmine Yale laughed: "Alright, little trickster, you’ve gotten so many things again. Are you happy?"
Every time she went out, the little one became the center of attention, more beautiful and adorable than kids her age.
Jasmine Yale looked down to tidy her clothes.
Suddenly, a large hand reached over, offering an unpeeled lollipop near Little Clementine’s hand.
"Thank you, no need, she has plenty of things already, thank..." Before Jasmine finished saying "thank," she looked up and froze.
Sylvan Cheney was squatting against the light, with deep, slightly dim eyes.
