Fated love: the unwanted bride

Chapter 2607: Her Little Clementine Is Gone!

He was afraid she might wake up in the night, so he didn’t turn off the lights and left a warm yellow wall lamp on.

Will Caddel straightened his back, standing by the bed, gazing at Jasmine Yale for a long time. He kept staring at her face, watching, a bit dazed and flickering in his eyes.

Jasmine Yale maintained this position without moving, hazily as if asleep.

Jasmine Yale’s drinking habits were somewhat okay; when drunk, apart from talking nonsense and vomiting, she was otherwise alright.

Will Caddel didn’t know how much she had drunk tonight, and he felt quite guilty for not taking care of her well.

After standing by the bed for a long time, he turned around and stepped out of the suite.

The night was deep, the thick curtains tightly shut, unable to see the view outside, only the bedroom light faintly glowing, the only light in the suite.

All around was silent, no sound could be heard.

Jasmine Yale was probably too tired, quickly falling into deep sleep, and had a long dream.

She dreamed that Little Clementine had grown up to about five or six years old.

The little girl was truly beautiful, with a head of thick black hair, large eyes, a high nose, all rosy and delicate, wearing a pink puff dress and white little shoes.

The little girl sat on a small swing in the lawn, while she sat on a big swing beside her, mother and daughter sitting side by side.

The swing was beautiful, painted white, wrapped around it were many plastic green leaves and flowers, though they were plastic, it felt like a swing from a fairyland, very dreamy.

Blue sky, grass, swings, red walls, green tiles.

Brilliant sunshine, fine weather.

"Mom, swing." Little Clementine looked up at her, sweetly obedient.

"You’re too small, you’ll fall off, just sit, no swinging." She refused.

"Mom, bad."

"..." She was helpless, how was she bad.

The little girl unhappily sat on the swing, unable to fly, just sitting idly.

"Did you practice piano today?" She asked.

"..." The little girl didn’t reply.

"I knew you were slacking off again, go practice piano."

"Don’t want to talk to you anymore." The little girl angrily jumped off the swing, head down, sullenly kicking pebbles on the grass, walking toward the piano room.

Just then, a tall figure appeared, a black shadow, slender, mature, stern.

The man had his hands in his trouser pockets, leather shoes stepping on the grass, walking over here.

"Dad!" The little girl’s eyes lit up, immediately rushing into the man’s embrace.

Jasmine Yale was startled, just lifting her head to see the man’s face, suddenly, the man holding Little Clementine disappeared!

"Little Clementine! Little Clementine! Don’t take Little Clementine away! Little Clementine!"

Jasmine Yale tightly clutched the hotel’s bed sheet, shouting fearfully, yelling!

Her voice was loud, sweat appeared on her forehead, soaking her clothes.

"Little Clementine, give me back Little Clementine..." She screamed in terror, heart racing, in the dream chasing out onto the grass.

She chased and chased, but where were Little Clementine and that man’s figures, nowhere...

Only an empty house and lawn remained, nothing else.

Her Little Clementine was gone!

Gone!

"Give me back Little Clementine... You cannot take Little Clementine away... Little Clementine, come back... Mom loves you..." Jasmine Yale was having a nightmare, waving her arms, grasping at the air.

But, where was Little Clementine now.

Her precious daughter was gone...

She didn’t get a good look at that man’s face either.
