Chapter 930: Chapter 455: Deep Meditation

"I mistook someone."

Li Ang looked a bit embarrassedly at the real Inanna.

From his perspective, his perception couldn’t distinguish between the two at all.

Inanna didn’t hold it against him and simply said, "I don’t know when she sneaked in either."

As soon as she finished speaking, the Dragon Maiden froze in place, as if talking to herself, "No, I am her, she is me, we are originally one entity, so it’s normal that you couldn’t recognize her."

"Is that so?"

Li Ang had guessed at this situation before; now it was confirmed by Inanna herself.

"Due to the pain of the curse spreading, sometimes I can’t control my own state, and then, when entering this domain, I split into two."

Inanna lowered her head and said, "Having rid myself of that part, I sensed my former self for the first time since the world shattered, yet I’m well aware it’s still a part of me.

"If it weren’t for the Father God’s power and the wondrous changes of this domain, I wouldn’t have formed this state; she is still me."

After saying this, the Dragon Maiden was silent for a moment, then looked at Li Ang, her golden eyes seemed somewhat apprehensive.

"What does Li Ang think of that version of me?" Inanna asked.

Li Ang raised an eyebrow, realizing that the Dragon Maiden had started a deep introspection, which, from his perspective, might also be what Bahamut Phantom and Ten Thousand Spirits wanted to see.

"I respect your own thoughts," Li Ang said, "After all, it’s you, and it ultimately depends on you. If you wish to try and eliminate that part of the Demon, then I’ll try to help you, if..."

"I can’t do it."

Li Ang hadn’t yet said "if you wish to coexist," but Inanna already seemed anxious when he mentioned eliminating the Demon aspect.

"That’s also me; Nebis’s disaster causes me pain. If I harbor thoughts of eliminating this part, it essentially represents severing my connection with the Earth entirely."

Inanna appeared somewhat uneasy and uncertain, as she gazed through the stone room’s glass dome at the ancient starry sky, which was the memory of the Ten Thousand Spirits to this world.

"Father God’s shadow and the Ten Thousand Spirits, they divided me in order for me to abandon my Earth Dragon aspect, to exist solely as an ordinary dragon?"

"It seems you already have an answer." Li Ang said.

"I can’t say I completely understand, but I feel they don’t mean that."

Inanna, troubled, said, "But we Six Dragons, after the world shattered, have not believed in our thoughts like we did before. We were born as the World Pillars, bearing heavy responsibilities, yet failed to realize how cautious we should be, how great the responsibility is. The world shattered; we still admit we are not perfect."

She looked at Li Ang: "But mortals are different, especially when we gradually awaken and observe this world anew, we see many who can transcend their limits and accomplish astonishing achievements. They are talented and unrestrained, and because of them, this world is not lifeless.

"And you, you are also very special, especially to me, so I want to hear your thoughts."

At this point, Inanna perhaps experienced for the first time a certain reaction from this special body, her neck blushing shyly or nervously, extending to her whole chest.

Seeing her like this, Li Ang’s heart also became warm.

He wondered if Inanna remembered the "Goddess of Kindness," Master of Forging Ernest, Sword King Esperada, those mortals who achieved great feats, and surely there are many like them. Being regarded by her in this way was enough to inspire the very soul.

"We still don’t know the true purpose of the Ten Thousand Spirits, but I feel that His guidance indeed approaches your thoughts, He doesn’t seem to want us to abandon ourselves."

Considering his own situation, Li Ang felt that the Ten Thousand Spirits rather wanted them to integrate with the Demon side.

Yet what specifically might develop, he couldn’t be sure.

"That’s great; I believed you would say so."

Inanna’s smile blossomed like a flower, rarely did the dazzling Dragon Maiden, whose inherent impression was Earth Rock, exhibit such a heartfelt smile.

"Next time we meet her, I wish to try and converse with her."

"Yes, that’s a good idea."

"After all, you just now seemed to like her too."

"That, uh..."

Li Ang scratched his head: "It’s still a while until dawn, do you want to rest? Or?"

He drew the conversation back to Inanna herself; however, she was already wrapped in a thin blanket, curled up like a young dragon, asleep.

The illusion realm manifested a cycle of day and night, as if the elders were deliberately tending to Li Ang and his group who ventured into the Land of Ten Thousand Spirits, the night gentle and prolonged, seemingly wishing them to rest until they were energized before beginning a new day.

Li Ang woke from sleep, the sky still shrouded in night; he quietly got out of bed and left the stone room.

Due to the previous attendant’s words, he was certain there was a bathroom here, but where convenient... he wasn’t sure.

Not long ago, Inanna personally demonstrated that her mortal form retained the same physiological functions, yet due to her extraordinary Dragon God’s nature, she didn’t need to eat like mortals, so Li Ang couldn’t quite decide.

If it truly doesn’t work, there’s no need to be overly concerned; he can go to the wilderness rocks outside the hall.

His footsteps echoed in the corridor of the Gilded Grand Hall, vast as an underground void, surrounded by walls of obsidian and granite, containing dense Earth Element, perceptible even in an illusion realm.

The corridor had only dim lighting, after night fell. Here, none of Inanna’s followers came to manage it, and Earth’s Divine Spirit didn’t need brilliant light for illumination, for the silent, heavy Earth Element surrounding the tunnels was the environment that made her comfortable.
