Her hand shook, the phone slipped halfway but she hurriedly grabbed it.

This startled Gu Zhitong next to her, who turned to look at her in surprise.

He answered indifferently, “Finished. If you have unfinished business with Gu Zhitong, just dial back later.”

Tang Jinchen raised his brow, both elbows leaning on the table, he probed Ye Zhan, “Why did you bring up that day with Momo earlier, if she gets scared because of it, it’s not good.”

“Will she?”

Ye Zhan paused for a moment, then replied faintly.

After a while, he said quietly, “Maybe she’s not scared at all.”
