She was doing more than looking. Her fingers traced patterns on my thighs that made my muscles twitch, and her lips brushed against the sensitive skin just above my hip in a way that had me gripping the sheets hard enough to tear them.
"You’re enjoying this."
"Immensely."
"That’s sadistic."
"I prefer ’thorough.’"
SShe took her time. Each touch of her lips felt deliberate, a slow exploration across my stomach, my ribs, the hollow of my hip. Her hands followed the same path, fingers pressing into muscle while her mouth traced lower. By the time her hand finally wrapped around me, my breathing had turned ragged.
The sensation hit like a shockwave. Every nerve ending seemed to fire at once, my body responding before my mind could catch up.
"Still with me?"
"Barely."
"Good."
She stroked me slowly, her eyes never leaving my face. That same focused look she’d had in the museum, studying the paintings, trying to decode every detail. Like she was memorizing my reactions. Then she leaned down and pressed her lips to the tip, and my hips jerked off the mattress hard enough that she had to steady herself with her free hand.
"Sensitive."
"You’re killing me."
"That’s the idea."
Her mouth was hot and wet and felt like nothing I’d ever experienced before. Sabrina took her time, learning what made me gasp and what made me groan and what made me grab her hair hard enough to probably hurt. She didn’t seem to mind the roughness, if anything she seemed to like it, her eyes flicking up to meet mine every few seconds like she wanted to make sure I was watching.
I was watching. I couldn’t look away.
"Sabrina. If you don’t stop, I’m going to..."
She pulled back with a wet sound that made my whole body twitch.
"Not yet."
Then she was crawling up my body again, her breasts dragging against my chest, her lips finding mine in a kiss that tasted different now. She reached between us and guided me into position, and then she was sinking down onto me in one slow, devastating movement.
The sound she made was somewhere between a moan and a sigh, and her nails dug into my shoulders hard enough to leave marks.
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"That’s..."
"Yeah."
We stayed like that for a moment, connected in the most intimate way possible while the last of the sunset faded and the room went dim around us. I could feel her heartbeat through the places where our bodies touched, racing in counterpoint to my own.
"You okay?"
"I’m perfect." She shifted her hips experimentally and we both gasped. "More than perfect."
She started to move, slow rolling motions that built friction and heat until I couldn’t think about anything except her body and the way it felt wrapped around mine. Her hands found my chest for balance, and I grabbed her hips to help guide her movements, and we fell into a rhythm that felt as natural as breathing.
"Isaiah."
"I’m here."
"Don’t go anywhere."
"I’m not going anywhere."
She leaned down and kissed me, messy and desperate and nothing like her usual composed self. I could feel her starting to unravel, her movements becoming more erratic, her breath coming in short sharp gasps that told me she was close.
I shifted my weight and rolled us over in one smooth motion, never losing our connection. Her back hit the expensive sheets and I settled between her thighs, adjusting the angle until she made that sound again. She hooked her legs around my waist immediately, pulling me in deeper, and her eyes went wide. Not just surprise but something closer to shock mixed with pleasure.
"I thought you said it had been a while."
Her voice came out breathless and slightly accusatory, like she’d caught me in a lie.
"It has." I adjusted my hips and she gasped. "That doesn’t mean I forgot how this works."
"Clearly not."
I started moving again, finding a rhythm that had her gripping my shoulders hard enough to bruise. Her eyes stayed locked on mine, purple irises almost black in the fading light, and I could see every reaction play out across her face. The mask was completely gone now. This was just Sabrina, raw and real and falling apart under me.
I moved faster, harder, watching her face as she came apart beneath me. Her mouth opened in a silent cry and her back arched off the bed and her nails raked down my back hard enough to draw blood. The sensation pushed me over the edge right after her, and I buried my face in her neck to muffle the sound I made as everything went white.
We lay there afterward in a tangle of sweaty limbs and expensive sheets, breathing hard and staring at the ceiling while our heart rates slowly returned to normal.
"So."
"So."
"That happened."
Sabrina laughed, a real laugh that sounded nothing like her usual controlled chuckle.
"That happened. And it’s going to happen again, assuming you’re not planning to run away screaming."
"Running seems like a lot of effort right now."
"Good answer."
She rolled onto her side and propped her head on her hand, studying my face in the dim light. Her hair was a disaster and her makeup was smeared and she had a mark on her neck that I didn’t remember making.
"You have questions."
"I always have questions."
"Ask."
I thought about it for a moment, turning over the dozens of things I wanted to know and trying to find the one that mattered most.
"What happens now? With your sisters, with the rotation, with all of it?"
"Now we figure it out together. You spend two weeks with me, then two weeks with Cassidy, then Vivienne, then Harlow. And at the end of it, we see where we all stand."
"And if someone gets hurt?"
"Someone probably will. That’s unavoidable when you’re trying to build something new. But I’d rather risk getting hurt than spend the rest of my life watching you from across crowded rooms and wondering what might have been."
I reached over and pulled her closer, tucking her against my side like she belonged there. She went willingly, her head settling on my chest and her arm draping across my stomach.
"Sabrina."
"Hmm?"
"I think I might be falling for you."
She was quiet for a long moment, and I could feel her heartbeat against my ribs, steady and strong.
She pressed a kiss to my chest, right over my heart. "I’ve just been waiting for you to notice."
