Whisper Sect...

This is an organization closely tied to Motan since he started playing, although it now seems to be an unfavorable connection, they indeed played a crucial role throughout Motan’s gaming journey.

It’s worth mentioning that this Motan refers to the literal ’Motan’, not some Half Dragon Knight, Half Elf troublemaker, or an ordinary passing Priest.

Interestingly enough, no matter which of his roles, it seems that they all have some connection to the Whisper Sect, more or less.

First is the role of ’Hei Fan’, whose initial spawning point after character creation was Stacked Rock City in the Marshall Territory. Under the leadership of Buffy Marshall, the Marshall Family is practically unified in mind with the Whisper Sect. To say nothing of anything else, just the share of slave trade they hold is absurdly large due to the Whisper Sect.

It was precisely because of the Marshall Family’s collaboration with the Whisper Sect on the slave trade that caused the tragedy in Ned Frum’s youth, and made him an insignificant resistor.

Indeed, Ned Frum is not an exemplary resistor, let alone a higher-level martyr; he only pursues his own attainable justice, which, barring any accidents, would hardly cause any stir.

Even if the evidence he gathered were presented, it would be hard for Great Lord Fire Claw to shake the influence of Buffy Marshall, which isn’t just orders of magnitude higher—even if it doesn’t result in a dismissal with ’misunderstanding’, the final outcome would likely be the Marshall family symbolically offering some money and slightly reducing the frequency of slave capturing after promising to ’assist Fire Claw Territory in resisting slave traders’.

And that so-called ’frequency reduction’ could very well be made up from elsewhere.

However, fortunately, although Ned was indeed a small figure, at the time, the cleanser named Ben dared to offend someone who should not be offended, assuming the identity of an assassin under the Marshall Family.

After gaining some likable partners only to quickly lose them, Double Leaf began her vengeance, which was precisely the fuse leading to the eventual downfall of the Marshall Family.

To be sure, ’Hei Fan’ didn’t play a significant role in this process, yet undeniably, he was the earliest contact with the Whisper Sect in some sense.

Then, half a year later in the far north, one of the sacred sites of the Shaman Sect, Holy Mountain Sumier, with the Earth’s Spirit sleeping, he went to aid them as a Priest accompanying the Holy Church Union expeditionary army, planning for an uneventful return only to be betrayed by his own forces, unexpectedly gaining the opportunity to lead the entire battlefield with Fire Yang upon reaching Sumier’s main peak.

The goodwill towards Orcs and the hostility towards the Whisper Sect made Motan repeatedly assist Fire Yang, indirectly boosting the latter’s fame.

Then, due to a failed date, ’Hei Fan’ whose mindset collapsed, became slightly more aggressive.

Becoming aggressive and aggressive, well... there went the Whisper Sect’s Northeast Diocese.

The character ’Mor’ didn’t have any direct contact with the Whisper Sect, but as the strongest among Motan’s three characters, the greatest crisis ’Mor’ encountered upon entering the Realm of Innocence was the showdown at Caselo Prairie against members of the Viper Chamber of Commerce hired by the Marshall Family and Whisper Sect. Had it not been for Jadka’s good grandson, the mighty Legendary Rank Great Lord Darian Diesel timely arrival, Woof Woof Team might have been wiped out there.

Finally, it’s the character known as ’Tan Mo’, whose current personality is ’Chaotic Neutral’ struggling to maintain a stable mindset in the Realm of Innocence at this exact moment.

Clearly, his connection with the Whisper Sect is no less than ’Hei Fan’, likewise, his current personality is the one most attentive to the Whisper Sect.

Pato City, Violet Empire’s Marshall Family, Whisper Sect hitting obstacles at these two locations, ’Tan Mo’ must be largely credited for it.

However, unlike the other two personalities, he doesn’t hold extreme hostility against the Whisper Sect. In fact, if Dave wasn’t so arrogant initially in Pato City, and agreed to Motan’s offer of ’I can help’, this guy might have silenced Cole and Little Ai long ago, helping the Whisper Sect achieve their goals.

If events had indeed unfolded that way, leveraging Motan’s personality and tactics under ’Chaotic Neutral’, conservative estimates would place him as a Chief Priest by now, and Dave Sagel might have replaced Cole, becoming Motan’s top underling.

In summary, even in the present moment where the Whisper Sect has been schemed against numerous times, at least with his current personality, Motan’s attitude towards them remains ’ambiguous’.

A very good amusement.

This is how he defines those heretics.

But...

That is already past tense.

After today’s meticulously horrific... hence temporarily unthinkable event occurred, this ’ambiguity’ has met an unavoidable ending.
