Four Split Personalities

Chapter 2644 - 1251: School Director

Couple outfits? What couple outfits?

Guxiaole was stunned for a moment, then suddenly realized and quickly turned to look at Motan beside her, finding him shaking his head with a wry smile.

It was then that she realized they indeed seemed to have unknowingly chosen similar clothes.

Today, Guxiaole wore a side ponytail, a white shirt, and denim shorts, along with light pink canvas shoes.

Motan, although not wearing a ponytail, was also dressed in a cool white shirt, with jeans and canvas shoes, his being black.

To be honest, this was definitely a huge misunderstanding, but to onlookers, the two seemed a bit like a couple unmistakably acting together.

This was also the main reason many passing boys gave Motan unkind looks.

Clearly, matters like these are quite common in any era, especially among male peers.

These young, energetic males, while not minding classmates dating, nor minding classmates dating a beauty, somehow always resented ’transfer student couples’ or ’beautiful female transfer students with boyfriends’. Who knows why?

Indeed, Motan wasn’t a transfer student, but he had barely attended school more than twenty times over two semesters of his freshman year, so it was almost as if he didn’t exist.

As for Guxiaole, she wasn’t a transfer student either. She was an exchange student duped by her own father.

Under normal circumstances, a local student being able to date such a beautiful exchange student like Guxiaole would be a commendation among fellow males, an honor, the kind that would make people invite you to cut lines in the cafeteria. But the problem was Guxiaole’s Chinese was too good, and anyone watching her chatting away next to Motan wouldn’t think she was an exchange student.

Thus, an unseen beauty = Transfer student, unmemorable male = Transfer student, plus their outfits were really too similar today, forming a mistaken equation.

Of course, because Motan didn’t appear particularly noteworthy at first glance, there was theoretically the possibility of being perceived as ’a classmate I haven’t met’, yet somehow, everyone seemed to have the illusion that ’if I had met him, I’d surely remember him’.

The reason was simple; if Yi Dong were here, he could easily answer that besides Motan’s ’Absolute Neutrality’ personality, under the other two personalities, his presence was too strong.

In any case, due to these seemingly reasonable but actually pretty useless reasons, Motan found himself in a very awkward situation the moment he stepped onto campus.

And the appearance of the Ji Family sisters perfectly exemplified the phrase ’there is no most awkward, only more awkward’.

"Uh..."

Motan opened his mouth, about to explain, only to be interrupted by the mischievous Guxiaole.

"Right!"

She cheerfully pulled Motan’s arm, grinning as she made a scissor hand gesture: "Aren’t we a perfect match?"

Ji Xiaodao slowly nodded, leisurely scrutinizing them with eyes that lacked rich emotional color.

"Alright, alright, if you two keep messing around, Motan’s going to take it seriously~"

Ji Xiaoge laughed, hugging her sister’s shoulder while playfully winking at Motan: "But honestly, it does look quite convincing."

It was then Motan breathed a sigh of relief; judging from this girl’s words, even with her simply bobbed shoulder-length hair in reality couldn’t hide her terrifying charm, Ji Xiaodao’s earlier comment seemed to be a joke, albeit she didn’t look like someone who enjoyed joking.

"Ahem, I’ve never had many clothes."

Motan awkwardly touched his nose, shrugged, and said, "Had I known, I’d have come wearing the school uniform."

Guxiaole turned and made a funny face at him before running over to the Ji Family sisters’ side, affectionately linking arms with Ji Xiaoge: "Xiaoge, Xiaodao, why are you here?"

"The transfer formalities are still incomplete. We came earlier, but the responsible teacher hadn’t returned."

Ji Xiaodao responded coolly, though her tone was noticeably warmer compared to talking with Motan: "Just bumped into Xiao Yu at the cafeteria."

Cui Xiaoyu’s laughter immediately echoed behind Motan: "If you’d come in uniform, we would have been wearing couple outfits."

Motan turned to find his tall, boyish friend, despite the delicate looks, leaning against a lamppost not far away, wearing the crisp sophomore uniform (uniformly navy blue, but with a maroon tie).

"Hey~"

Motan happily raised his arm to greet Cui Xiaoyu.

Cui Xiaoyu clicked his tongue, smiling with interest: "Motan, are you and Sister Xiao Le on a date?"

"Absolutely not."

Motan immediately shook his head, glancing nervously at Guxiaole, worried she might stir up more trouble.

"No way."

Guxiaole didn’t continue teasing, just shaking her head cheerfully: "You guys know I’m not interested in three-dimensional boys, but if I had to choose one, I feel Tan Jiang does have a lot of potential. Oh, right, we came here actually to..."
