"Sis."
Mor rubbed the tip of his nose, making a funny face at Teresa, who, despite being his junior and excelling in every subject except battlefield tactics, showed no deference: "Say something I can understand. We don’t have much time to rest, once we pack the equipment, they’ll bring in the next group."
Teresa nodded gently, then skillfully erased the orders on the instruction card while softly saying, "To put it in terms that you, Mr. Webb, can understand, that Ramollok Chief Priest made a move only twice throughout."
The girl intensified her tone as she finished, though due to her soft, pure voice, it didn’t quite hit the mark, yet Mor, being one of Teresa’s few friends, felt the gravity of it.
"Twice..."
Mor squinted his sky-blue eyes that were perfect for charming girls, stayed quiet for several seconds before speaking seriously: "I didn’t understand."
"Oh my!"
Teresa almost fell to the ground upon hearing this response. She quickly grabbed onto the high-back chair beside her, but...ended up falling to the ground with the chair, sitting foolishly with the chair in hand until Mor pulled her up by the back of her collar. After coming to her senses, she exclaimed helplessly, "It means Ramollok only gave two orders during the simulation!"
Mor clapped his hands forcefully, suddenly enlightened: "Oh, if you’d said that earlier, I’d have understood."
Teresa frowned slightly, looking at Mor skeptically: "Do you really understand?"
"Of course, I do."
Mor laughed heartily, flashing a bright smile with eight teeth: "Simply put, Ramollok wasn’t serious throughout, only twice seriously engaged!"
"You really didn’t understand at all!"
Teresa let her face drop, sighing deeply.
"Tsk, if that’s considered wrong..."
Mor also sighed, his eyes glinting sharply as his tone became more serious: "Then I can only infer that, in your eyes, Teresa, Ramollok merely issued two orders and did nothing else."
Teresa still let her face fall, speaking dispiritedly: "Don’t pretend to have understood all along, Mr. Webb. I know you just figured out what I meant."
Mor instantly reverted to that simple, uninformed demeanor, angrily saying: "You brat are really unlovable besides your looks!"
"It’s you, Mr. Webb! There should be limits to being slow!"
"What do you mean I’m slow! Don’t assume everyone is like your kind of monster! Also, can’t you call me senior even once? Calling me ’Mr.’ makes it seem like I’m unlikeable!"
"It’s because there’s nothing worth learning from Mr. Webb! You often sexually harass Senior Meili!"
"Nonsense! It’s mutual affection between us!"
"Not true at all! Including twice from two days ago, Senior Meili has already rejected you one hundred seventy-two times this semester!"
"Kids shouldn’t interfere with adults’ matters!"
"Teresa is not a little brat!"
"Ahaha, sorry, but to everyone, a self-centered, pouty dwarf like you is a brat!"
"Teresa develops slowly because she has one-eighth silver elf lineage! Not a dwarf!"
"Dwarf!"
"Pervert!"
"Dwarf!"
"Flirt!"
"Dwarf!"
"Bad drinker!"
"Dwarf!"
"Miser!"
"Dwarf!"
"..."
Teresa finally fell silent. Although she could intellectually overpower Mor, when it comes to thick skin, this springtime girl isn’t even fit to carry his shoes. This is apparent from Mor’s near two hundred failed attempts at confessing to his friend in half a year.
"So, what now?"
Mor, scratching his head as if nothing happened, curiously asked the girl he had teased so much: "What’s going on?"
"Hmph!"
Teresa turned her face, ignoring him angrily.
"I’ll handle the sand table aftermath today."
Mor casually offered the deal, though he never meant for his clumsy junior to do much. Still, he said it to maximize his benefits.
As expected, the somewhat dim Teresa instantly brightened, looking at Mor as if he was a savior: "Really!?"
"Really."
Mor grinned, saying pleasingly: "As long as you explain about Ramollok clearly to me, so I can impress Meili, you’ll only need to handle judging and scoring today."
"Alright!"
Teresa clapped happily then obediently sat in the chair, watching Mor lazily clear the instruction card while saying joyfully: "Ramollok Chief Priest was actually using the counselor assigned to him by the host, that’s the intern instructor from Mercury Academy, Mr. Dyson. Though it seemed like he was commanding, neither the plans nor the strategies were truly his own."
